Fantastic hotel! Even though it's not in the Old Town, it's incredibly convenient to get to the cathedral – just a 2-minute train ride from the station right next to the hotel, even faster than taking the bus. The breakfast spread is excellent, the service is warm and friendly, and the rooms are spotless and always cleaned promptly. Plus, the riverside views at sunset are absolutely stunning!

We were truly touched when the staff at the Club Lounge on the 6th floor prepared a Cologne Cathedral-shaped cookie to celebrate my wife’s birthday. In addition, Kira kindly wished her a happy birthday in Korean and took such thoughtful care of us, which made our experience even more special.
Thanks to this kindness, the final day of our very first trip to Europe became the happiest and most memorable day of our journey.
We sincerely thank Hyatt, as well as the beautiful view of Cologne, for making my wife’s birthday abroad so special. We hope to return again someday.

The hotel location is excellent, with panoramic views of the cathedral. The only downside is that one of the beds creaks every time you turn over, which disturbed my sleep.

As a Globalist, I was upgraded to a suite overlooking the Rhine — every evening I would sit by the window and watch the bridge glowing under the sunset. Those moments alone were worth the stay.
Breakfast was exceptional, both in quality and variety, easily among the best I’ve had in Europe. The staff were genuinely warm and attentive, creating a sense of welcome that felt effortless. The complimentary minibar in the suite was a thoughtful touch.
The pool may be small, but taking a swim while the city slowly woke up felt refreshing and serene. Hyatt Regency Cologne has that rare combination of great views, excellent service, and true comfort — a place where you don’t just stay, but linger.

Awesome stay! If you have the points, definitely choose the Club Floor. It's only 3,000 more points per night but an excellent value.

The level of cleanliness of the room did not meet my expectations. There were a number of long hairs on the floor of the bathroom which had clearly not been cleaned properly
The reception were apologetic and I was moved to another room - the bathroom also had some hairs. Cologne is a beautiful city and the hotel is well located, however it was overpriced for the standard unfortunately. I wish I had booked one of the other hotels and I definitely will next time. There should not be a number of hairs on the floor if it is properly cleaned. Very disappointed

The location is simply unbeatable, offering the most stunning view of the Cologne Bridge and the Kölner Dom. Waking up to that skyline was a real highlight of the trip.
Our room was spacious and comfortable, and we especially appreciated having both a shower and a bathtub separated, a small luxury that made a big difference. Inside, the hotel is modern, clean, and well-designed, creating a welcoming atmosphere throughout.
From the outside, the building might not be the most eye-catching, but once you’re inside, that really doesn’t matter. What counts is the experience—and this one truly delivered.
