We spent a wonderful week at this beautiful hotel in a former monastery. The staff was incredibly helpful and went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. The location is right along the peaceful Moselle River and we took walks around the neighborhood, which included many historic buildings. Transportation into Trier was easy by bus a couple of blocks away. Trains to Burg Eltz, Cochem, Luxembourg and many other places was pretty easy. Breakfast and dinner (not included) were amazing. We highly recommend the Kloster Pfalzel for couples as a romantic getaway.

The position, the old building in itself and the river view are really very nice and impressive. There are stylish cozy rooms that have recently been renovated. The overnight was a great experience. But the restaurant area, and generally the ground floor, needs maintenance. Breakfast is quite expensive (40 euros for 2 people) considering the variety and quantity of food. I hope that everything will improve soon.

Absolutely stunned by how great this hotel was, even I was stunned and I booked it! Great customer service, fantastic views and great menu. Just super easy and lovely. Super comfy bed as well.

Very nice hotel with a personal touch. Every day a free bottle of water in our room. Everuthing was perfect, like breakfast, the beds, bathroom, internet, size of the room, very quiet during nights.

We had dinner here and since we reserved, we were shown to what surely was the best table on the terrace. We enjoyed our drinks indeed the linden trees with a wonderful view of hillside and forest. He had Coq au vin and pronounced it wonderful. My asparagus spears and hollandaise was ery good as was the accompanying schnitzel. Excellent setting, service, and food.

Rooms with views of the river Moselle is great! Shower is getting on in years...joints just before the mold...the price of Breakfast far too expensive (26 euros, according to the map in the room??). Was included in the room price of about 100 euros. Selection for this award is deficient...Therefore (and because of the joints), a star deduction.
Other Breakfast buffets know. Quality of the offered stuff is super!
