It’s the first time I’m leaving a negative review for a hotel :( Extremely poor service and unfriendly interactions. The location is also not ideal as after 6 pm busses run very infrequently (2x / hour) and it’s not in the city center.

The door of my room could not be locked so that anyone could enter it, and when I asked for it to be repaired I felt like I was bothering them. Then I got moved to another room in which the ventilator was running loudly all night (it was broken) so that I also couldn’t sleep… Other things also not working (towels missing etc). When I tried to friendly tell them it had been quite a stressful stay they didn’t even apologize.

The breakfast is quite expensive for what it is in my opinion (15€ and less options than usual in Germany).

Very nice hotel situated between the Uni campus and the city centre near the Petrisberg. The hotel, the room and all the facilities were clean and nicely renovated. The only point I was missing was a safe. Also a car parc free of charge has been available.
Breakfast food selection was also quite OK. What I really enjoyed was the breakfast terrace.
All in all a good selection which I can recommend.

Location is fine, rooms clean. No airco or fan and next to a busy road. Bad quality pillows and sheets - clumpy pillow and non cotton fitted sheets. Sketchy entrance and reception tucked away on the top level. Decoration is questionable. Roof terrace is nice as a get away from the room, cold drinks available. Free parking with many spots and three bus lines directly across the street to take you to various points in the city centre. €2.20 per ticket per person. Pictures online give a very different vibe than reality. Prices are cheap however.

Nice and new apartment, so nothing to comment on cleanliness. It can be too warm on a summer night, but rooms have no fans and since the room was next to a busy road, it was impossible to sleep with the windows open. Pretty good breakfast and hotel is located just a drive away from many attractions. Convenient!

The hotel is pretty new and the rooms are modern. The breakfast is simple but good. The owner speaks English quite well. Some rooms are next to a very busy road which is noisy, but the windows are very thick so if you close them, you can’t really hear the cars. But it was warm so we wanted open the window, because there’s no airco. A fridge/kettle would’ve been nice. We went to the city center by bus but you can also walk (is about 30 mins).
