NEVER AGAIN!

We have never in our lives stayed in such a filthy place. The reality bore absolutely no resemblance to the pictures used in the online advertisements. Dust, dust bunnies and cobwebs, sticky floors, water stains on the nightstand, toothpaste/water stains on the bathroom tiles and towels, and much more. If you enjoy filth, then go for it!

Nonexistent cleaning. They don't even make the beds or clean the bathroom. The mattress is excellent and the location unbeatable.

This really shouldn't be happening…
We paid almost €300 for two nights in a double room.

The walls were peeling, the bathroom was moldy, the floor hadn't been cleaned (there was dust everywhere!!!), and overall it looked like everything had been left as it was after the previous guests.

The receptionist was also rather slow; we had to stand in front of the counter for 30 minutes waiting for her to enter everything into her computer… The location is right in the center of Trier, but I definitely cannot recommend this hotel.

After initially being given a room whose door wouldn't close, the receptionist assigned me a new one. However, upon arrival, I discovered that this "new room" was already occupied by other guests. I was then given an "even nicer room."

At first glance, it did indeed seem appealing – but upon closer inspection, I discovered chewing gum on the walls and floor, a filthy floor, a bathroom with extremely moldy grout, black hair in the bathtub, and shampoo residue from the previous guest. Furthermore, the towels had a foul odor.

If you enjoy staying in filth, this hotel is perfect for you – but I strongly advise everyone else to avoid it.

I had a hard time with this review…On one hand , it was clean, affordable & EXTREMELY close to the Porta Nigra (quite literally the next building over). On the other hand, the showers never worked, and the bed was almost too uncomfortable (to be fair, we never complained). Overall, if you are looking for a cheap and hotel that is close to everything, consider this hotel. If you can sacrifice one of those two, it’s best to keep your options open.

Centrally located hotel with poor breakfast. The eggs were over cooked and the toaster didn't work. The choice of cooked ham and cheese just isn't enough. But that was only the tip of the iceberg, because none of the 3 soap and shower gel dispensers was filled. When you complained about this the next morning, you got a refill bag from the DM pressed into your hand. Cobwebs on the ceiling complete the overall impression. The fact that only every second socket works has something to do with the energy saving concept, because only every second lamp works both in the room and in the hallway.

Amazing location - right next to Porta Nigra gate, close to all other sights and the old city. 5min walk to the main railway station.

This review only covers the restaurant.
The food is just ok, nothing special, and surely not up to the price asked. Staff seems to be quit inexperienced, but nice.
