Space Hotel - Campus der Jesco von Puttkamer Schule in Leipzig

Super rude and unfriendly staff. They hang up the phone while we are still talking to them. Did the same to our booking agent. Zero flexibility or hospitality.

Bad behavior with the customer, I do not recommend it at all
I booked two rooms in the Hotel for one night for 5 people, but you did not enter me because the covid pass is expired, and also you did not help me to cancel my reservation and even though the pharmacies were closed and we could not do a Test you did not help us, this is shameful

1) it is maybe it in the ugliest street of Leipzig.
2) the desk is open for 3 hours a day only (4-7pm), though it is indicated on the hotel's website and other booking and co. till 8 pm. Even inside you can see a big board with 16-20pm indication. I arrived at 7:45 pm, by "chance" I saw a woman through the glass door, she hardly wanted to open the door. Unfortunately i had no more battery in my cellphone. As an excuse she showed me a paper on the door where it was written the new opening hours and told me "we have less clients and wages are higher that is the reason why we cut by one hour", but these changes should not have such consequences on clients who are finally just informed at the door! If by mistake you don't have your code, then you can forget your stay for the night there.
3) for the late check in (after 7, no 8pm) there is then a process to get your key with a special code and a box at the entrance but this is not clear, I met German clients the day after who did not even understand the process though it is written in German at the entrance. I had to show them.
3) staff is not friendly, the same woman was talking in front of me about breakfast to her colleague and then she told me "breakfast is available only in the weekend" (this happened on a Friday). 6,5euros for it.
4) walls are as thin as paper. We can hear all the doors slapping.
5) this has nothing to do with a hotel. I paid in average 40€ for a single room for each night, and I consider they should have a better desk opening schedule and services at least for that price, I was not authorised to have the breakfast, no private bathroom.
6) the only positive thing I can say, it was roughly clean (shared bathroom) though i found a long hair in my towel...

We could not enjoy our stay at Leipzig, or even at the hotel. At arrival we were charged 2 nights instead of 1. Even so I called the manager before hand to clarify our 1 night stay. Mistakenly or not, at the reception we were refused to pay only one night. So with no alternative we did so. We had to write emails and wait for the manager Mr. H. to set things straight and repay us the 1 night.
HOWEVER, to our surprise we were additionally charged on our credit card (which was only provided as security) since we paid at arrival in cash. Again countless complications to get our money back. A waste of time and efforts for endless mistakes from the Space Hotel. So the rooms are fine, I would never advice it to anyone!
