Urban Capsule in Dresden

Absolutely disgusting. Not worth a single euro, filthy, the access code is publicly available online, so anyone can just walk in. The bathroom was full of broken glass, and the shower was held together with plastic. It's outrageous that they allow guests to stay overnight there and even charge money for it.

I had not appreciated that the so-called "double room" with shared bathroom is in fact a dark windowless wooden rabbit hutch (so-called "capsule" which is scarcely big enough to house one person, let alone two, with no security on the door except an external padlock for which an extra €4 is charged. And the shared bathroom is shared not between a couple of rooms but with an entire capsule "hostel" of up to 30 people. Since the second room which I booked for my colleague was not provided, he slept in the cold wooden rabbit hutch and I slept - or rather dozed - on an even colder and extremely uncomfortable sofa. Moreover the Hostel (there is no way it can be described as a hotel) is in a very remote outer suburb of Dresden to which public transport (the 79 bus) already ceases to run before 9.00 PM even on a Saturday night, leaving anyone who misses this ridiculously early last bus to either walk 4 km or take a taxi. Appallingly bad value for money. An experience I hope never to repeat. Easily the worst value in over 5 years as a regular Airbnb user during which I have stayed in over 100 AirBnb properties.

Do not book here. It is ages away from anything other than housing (this is the worst part about the place). Also, it is in a small office building. You open the door and it is a tiny place with wooden crates you are supposed to sleep in. The shower room was a mess and the other guests were very oddly behaved. This is obviously not the owners fault but it certainly added to disliking of the place.

DO NOT BOOK! SCAM ALERT! The so-called "double rooms" are tiny cages next to a lot of other cages.

I requested a change of data of the reservation due to a Covid-19 issue and Fox-Box cancelled the reservation. I call them and email them several times without answer. We had to book another hotel.

no rooms, no double rooms just 8 sleep boxes with one bathroom. It is basically a bad hostel that costs 30 euros a night.

It’s a scam, booked a room, but when we arrive everything was taken. No one answered phone and not doing any refunds
