"All rooms have ... SKY TV at no extra cost (Sport 1, Sport 2/Sport in general, Bundesliga conference call)" This is what it says on the website (as of May 6, 2024). That's why we (father + adult daughter) chose this hotel as train travelers despite the peripheral location and mediocre public transport connections. Unfortunately, that's not true: no SKY in the room and not in the reception area either. Luckily, we found a bar with SKY a 35-minute walk away. So it wasn't that bad, but I don't like false advertising claims. Otherwise: We were happy with the single rooms. Large closet with plenty of storage space, so also suitable for a longer stay. Shower cubicle as good as new, although relatively narrow (not for the very overweight), breakfast buffet normal. Friendly staff, generally very clean, fair overnight price. Recommended for car travelers who don't care about the SKY sports channels. Rail travelers either need a bus, which runs hourly on weekends and every half hour otherwise, or take a 15-minute walk to a road junction with good bus connections.

This was a pleasant and worthy stay for one night in Dresden! Friendly, clean, small rooms in a 90's ambiente! Free parking! Close to downtown with a car.

Pro: Very good value for money, food very tasty and of very high quality, great done and great portions, plenty of Parking available
Cons: atmosphere in the Restaurant is very cool and nothing special, the waiters seem a little awkward and not familiar with the food on the plate, a choice of drinks could be bigger

We would not have awarded 4.5 stars for an 'Excellent', it is sufficient, however, because that the Breakfast offer could be more diverse. The, in the half-Board included, in the evening 4-course menu was excellent and fast on the table, the staff friendly.
The room was clean but quite small, which we knew before, and we were looking for anyway, 'just a place to stay', because Dresden and the surrounding area offer more than enough attractions and natural beauties, so that we were between Breakfast and dinner on the go.
Breakfast can be taken starting at 6.30 PM, so that you can start its activities at times. The Restaurant is open until 23.00. The kitchen closing, we have not requested, and we were shortly after 20.00 hrs at the table.

to achieve very good class rooms and Service ,the Breakfast super . The kitchen and the staff very friendly .always worth a visit , Quiet and still in Dresden, with its attractions, not far away .

We were there in April 2016 in this Hotel and we were completely satisfied. Super friendly staff, rooms clean and great location. But the absolute most outstanding thing about this Hotel was the food. We had in the evening a 4-course menu and this was excellent, for me the food was much more than a 3-star rating, that makes you the somewhat small shower. I would always travel back to the landhotel Dresden.
