Went there for business lunch, great service from the restaurant, good food, good ambience

The room was cleaned daily but was a bit shabby. The beds were reasonable. The bathroom was ok, but hot water was fitful and it was not often hot enough to allow a bath. No tea making facilities.There was a safe. Quiet enough. Breakfast was good with a reasonable selection. I'm gluten free and that was catered for. The staff were excellent and very helpful.

Excellent staff, functional clean rooms. The only omission was the absence of tea/coffee making facilities in the rooms.

Really great stay at Dorint would highly recommend. The rooms are spacious and the staff is courteous.

Very decent hotel. Great location, very sweet and helpful staff. The come for a little chat, they love it if you practice your German. Breakfast is great with vegan(!!) and vegetarian options. Also healthy options. Beds are okay, rooms are clean and neat. Decent large safe in which your laptop fits. Towels are clean and soft. Free water

Average 3 stars hotel. Good by comparison, reasonably clean with adequate breakfast.

Pretty run down, in a rather run down area. The whole building smelled of old cooking oil. There was also cigarette smoke in the lobby.

Nice cozy rooms. They got a small (cardio only) fitness room, they also got scrambled eggs for breakfast. What else can you ask for? And Ibis for example has none of that.

The location of the hotel is good. The room is large and the bed huge, and very comfortable, although I would rather have had 2 single beds as was travelling with my son. The bed only had one pillow and one single duvet despite the booking was for 2 people. We found another pillow and duvet in the wardrobe but I do feel the room should have been set up for 2 people. The location of the hotel is excellent, but the rooms had a bad odor. While the rooms themselves are spacious and nicely appointed, the unpleasant smell detracted from the overall experience. Additionally, check-in was problematic, as our room wasn't ready until 4:30 PM. On the other hand, they are strict about check-out times and charged extra for an additional hour.

We had a very good time, price was really good compared to other hotels oder airbnbs by the time. Room was kinda oldschool, but clean and nice. Would recommend. They even had a fitness room and wellness, plus a pool table in the lobby.

Good spacious room, but the reception is only opened from 14:30 to 22:00, the lady came late (15:10) and there was a huge line to check in. It took 20min to check in when we were waiting since 13:30 at the lobby

Not good for business travels or travelling with acquaintances. Thin walls. From 6am onwards you can hear low thudding from the station or the tram station outside the hotel. Could hear my neighbours' nightly activities and the headboard couldn't be separated from the wall. So I needed to wake up and excuse myself until they were done. When neighbours came back, the bluetooth from the TV would activate...

Solid. Rooms were no frills but clean and sensible. In the price range usually you have a bit bigger rooms though. The bathroom was quite nice. Front desk is open 24/7; convenient. When I checked in, around 8pm, there was only one desk open though, so it took a while. Guest in front of me also forgot her cards pin, I would have appreciated being fast tracked instead of waiting for the epiphany. ...

Totally loved my stay. I spent one night and unfortunately couldn’t make it to the gym but I love the atmosphere and the room style. Staff is super friendly and breakfast is good.

Good location of a hotel for a nights stay when driving through Germany. Perfect parking outside. The personnell let us have our bicycle in the room which was much appreciated. We found ourselves stuck in Halle due to a train malfunction and quickly booked the ibis as we had two small kids in tow. It was a very easy, less than 10 minute walk to the train station. Basic but nice hotel, only 2 minutes' walk from Halle main station. The room was a decent size, and warm, once I turned the radiator thermostat up from zero! Decent breakfast selection.

Stayed for one night on way back home , Staff very helpful when we need to change our room ,Room big enough for family of 4 and our dog was accommodated as well Bit noisy in the morning as the windows located on the front of the street Breakfast was great huge selection of what you need all nice and fresh and very good coffee too. The location for short term visit was ok, not the best,but manageable. The staf was nice, but they don't sent the invoice by mail even they promise to do that. Please ask for paper copy when paid. Hotel is old an look like 70's, but the rooms seems to be renovated after that. It is normal IBIS quality and the garage was nice plus.

As expected from Ibis, the room is small but everything is good for the price.

Very small rooms, very small shower, the smallest tv and the worst and slowest internet I ever experienced in hotel rooms.. H+ Hotel for example is more cheaper and there is bigger TV and 200Mb/s internet. For exampe, here, if you get lucky, you get 5mbps. Not suitable for business trip where you need good and reliable internet connection.

Great short stay Great location and amenable service

Incredibly quiet, despite being in the heart of the city. The bathroom is brand new, and the kitchenette is very practical. The heating is very good even when it's below zero outside. Easy to find – tram number 12 from the main station – the stop is called Lessingstraße. Reception could be friendlier. Everything from very friendly to the opposite. Highly recommended nonetheless.

Everything was nice, but breakfast was quite expensive. Very quiet location and the rooms were good. The reception was very friendly. Unfortunately, breakfast is expensive at €18.

Large room in an old house Old Gründerzeit house with large rooms and a recently renovated bathroom. Everything is clean and quiet. Unfortunately, the beds are too hard. The reception is very friendly. Parking can be booked for €10 (highly recommended, as there are practically no spaces available on the street).

Nice room at a nice price in a nice location. One issue was that the email they sent had the wrong booking number so we couldn’t use the kiosk to check in. Fortunately, the front desk was open at the time even though the email said it wouldn’t be at that time.

This was the fourth hotel we stayed in over the past six days and we or least favorite. This was the only hotel that did not have an in room mini refrigerator and offered only one pillow. The parking garage was difficult to locate and the cost was €1/hour or €9/day but you could not leave and return without getting another parking pass and paying a new fee.

No microwave or refrigerator in the room which was inconvenient because everything around us was closed on Sunday. (Even grocery stores) Otherwise, the room was clean and staff was helpful.
