Weve been there 2 times, it has a lot of charme and the rooms are old but good. Even though weve come to the conclusion that its to loud and not that clean so next time we visit Leipzig er will choose another place. But nice staff and good pricing, big rooms lot of charm and patina 😊

Very close to the University, which was a big advantage for me. The breakfast they offer was quite rich and nice. There was no daily cleanup of the room, but perhaps I should have requested them. The only negative point is that their front desk is not open all day, and over weekends they close quite early. So, if you are planning to check in on a weekend, you have to be careful (this point was not mentioned in the ******* page). Otherwise, a very nice place.

My experience with this place was horrific. I booked through Booking.com, but the rooms advertised were entirely different from what I saw upon arrival. It was the worst accommodation I have ever seen in Germany. I actually then asked relatives to pick me up and slept on their couch instead. Please see the attached photographs for yourself. I took these photos of Gwuni Mopera in March 2025.

The only hotel in the world without a water heater. For the price I found it expensive. No bathtub, no water heater, no coffee machine, no tea or water and no fridge. The most basic of the basic. Even motels have water heaters.

Great location in Leipzig! Our family of 6 stayed in 3 rooms w 2 bathrooms, with kitchen. massively high ceilings, comfortable beds, nicely appointed, quiet. Great night sleeps all around. We arrived for late check-in, so reception was closed, and we had to go to the smoking lounge below, which was a little odd with kids. But super nice host helped us het where we needed to be and when we went to the reception area the next day, during operating hours, the reception area was very professional.

Overall, it was a good experience. The location of the hotel is great, the city centre is only a 10-minute walk from the hotel. I also enjoyed my room, very spacious and comfortable.
However, I would have appreciated more attention to detail. The room could have been cleaner and I had the feeling that the attention of the staff towards the customer was not high (the relationship was very impersonal). Also, the decor of the room and the common areas is very minimalist and impersonal.

One of my best experiences in hotels.
The quality-price ratio is truly excellent.
People are really nice and friendly.
The hotel looks nearly refurbished. The rooms are clean and modern: light with fan integrated, touch mirror in the bathroom, etc. And a corner with chairs and little tables for your relaxation. The place is quiet, with a nice garden for dining or having a beer.
Nothing to say: 5 stars truly deserved.

Great location 10 minute walk to the old city. Had laundry facilities and beds were okay. The main problem was that it is also a restaurant where we unfortunately stayed on a Friday and Saturday night which was incredibly loud, especially in the evening around 11:00 and 12 o'clock at night. So we all had terrible sleep, if you have kids I would suggest not to book on the weekend, especially when the weather is good and people are outside drinking and eating later at night. This is not a family place.

The hotel is situated in a courtyard off a side road and is therefore a very quiet area. Central Leipzig is just a short walk away. Also the S-Bahn station and trams are located close to the hotel, and the rail station is not too far away. The hotel is clean and very well presented. My room look new/modernised and was a very good size with a large bathroom too. Staff were friendly and helpful. The only downside was that the room was hot - there was a ceiling fan which made it comfortable, but as soon as this was turned off the room got hot again. But overall I enjoyed my stay at the hotel and would recommend to anyone spending two or three nights in the city.
