Hostels in Leipzig

The hostel was really clean and the rooms were great. There’s a nice little biergarten/cafe at the bottom of the hostel and the employees are really nice and helpful. It’s only a couple of minutes from the S-Bahn. Highly recommend for your next stay in Leipzig.

We were desperately looking for a place to stay at half past ten at night when we around this little hostel. Super nice staff and great prices. Clean and well equipped. Our room smelled a bit of scented candles, but I think it was just to fit in with the atmosphere of this hostel.

We stayed two nights at Homeplanet Hostel in the Egypt Apartment. + Very friendly and helpful personell + Very nicely decorated room + Reasonable prices - The beds were just cruel. The double bed was just too small for two people and the matress was probably quite old. With every turn, the bed made loud noises and was very uncomfortable - One of the single beds in the apartment almost fell apart...

The area surrounding the Hostels is similar to the West Berlin Neighborhoods of the end of the 70s.Great Atmosphere!! The home planet adds accordingly. I immediately felt comfortable. First and foremost this hostel is clean and comfortable enough, although the sturdy wooden bunks have slightly awkward stairs and are not the easiest to navigate while putting on bedsheets etc. Service was efficient and kind but is otherwise also quite absent, you check in and that's it. The kitchen is good, a little small but it's all that it needs to be. I think there is a restaurant in the garden...

I can't believe this clearness and cosy bed and also it is really good isolation with this price. There is just a little bit of far from the centre but it's easy access to the tram. So I would say perfect hostel.

Good points: Great location, friendly staff. Furniture and set up of rooms is functional and well thought-out. Bad points: the rooms with windows to the street are really noisy, lots of ambulances passing by during the night. (I checked out because I couldn't sleep!) Comfortable hostel with attached bar and only 12 minutes by tram to central station. Some things can improve: beds should be assigned, and management should pay attention what purpose some people stay for (some strange guests spoil the experience and atmosphere for others).

Proximity with the center. Friendly receptionist. Comfortable and clean bed . Clean shower! Perfect for a weekend! Great money value !

Awesome garden, clean rooms, big bathrooms, really nice and friendly staff. I stayed here a few times, it feels like home!

Cost-effective place! Wonderful decoration in the room! It is really cute the cats in the wall! The bathroom is amazing!! The garden is beautiful but I was there in the wrong weather :)! Next time I will going in the summer!

Cool place to stay for a budget. Receptionists are friendly, the rooms are okay and neat, but the floors are wooden so could be a bit noisy when walking. For reasons I don't know, they turn off their heaters intermittently which is an issue for me.

Very near to the city centre and main train station. Room was super clean and spacious with closets for each individual. You can also get a lock and key for free to secure your belongings inside the closet. Staff were nice and friendly.

It was one of my best hostel experiences! the rooms were confortable and clean, the breakfast was gread (modest not crazy fancy), the team was so friendly and really everything was great.

Rooms are really clean and staff is friendly. We stayed in room for 4 ppl with only one charger point. Luckily it was just me and other friend who stayed, bc other wise you couldn't charge your phone

Great hostel, the location is really nice and very close to the city center. The rooms are cheap and pretty comfortable. I’m really looking forward to returning here in this great hostel and amazing city.
