Nice site in a tranquil setting. I can only speak from our experience with a motorhome. Large pitches in shady settings. Sanitary facilities are showing signs of age and would benefit from some maintenance, however there are plenty of them and the showers are great!
Access to the city could not be easier.
Overall a good place to stay if a little pricey. In my opinion one is paying 5 star prices for a 4 star site. However there is evidence the site is improving.

80% free camping but I was rejected after 800km because they had no free places for 1 night. It may look good, it may be big and beautiful but the logic of the rejection escapes me... it's called camping. Anyway, never here

absolutely brilliant! clean, great showers, wc, lots of space and very close to bus and tram stops! we were very happy to stay there! just be prepared for mosquitos 🙂🙂🙂

The camp Security are BAD. Actually it is totaly non exsisting. Do not recomend. Go somewhere else and use your money. This place are not it. Go somewhere where they have staff who cares. Manager do not care.
The campsite itself was ok. Older, but ok to be in City. There are ok toalett, shower do work, and you can do dishes, and empty toilet. Cleaning was bad, mold, spiders, webs and bugs.
It have the base, to be a great campsite, but its not.
The camp Security are BAD. Actually it is totaly non exsisting. The campsite takes no responsibility for anything. Here you are on your own. There are not anyone to talk to, call or anything. It was party all night, from 23 to 05. Impossible to contact anyone to stop it. Total disclaimer from the employees the next morning. Both on noise and safety. They only work to 18. and from 08. there are not anyone to reach between 18 and 08. And they do rally not care anyway.
And they do not close the gate when they leave at 18, its open (!!) so that anybody just can walk/drive inn/out and do whatever they want. Not a safe campingsite. Do not recomend.

A good place for one night

Large camping site with numbered parcels. It is at cycling distance from the inner city, using a bike path along the canal and through parks. It is a 'Knaus' camping site and Knaus being a caravan manufacturer, this is the type of vehicles (and people :-) it attracts. The site is large and impersonal. Still, the toilets are clean and the showers are warm, you could do worse. The restaurant closed in 2015. You can rent cabins.

Close to Leipzig. Simpel but really quite and nice/friendly camping. Recommend for people who like simple campings and don't want to stay in the city of Leipzig

A long established campsite. Offers a range of accommodation. Clean and all facilities were great. Also easy to get to city centre from. Will stop at a Knaus site again
