Hotel Torino Zeitz in Zeitz

This is a very unique Italian restaurant with a wonderful atmosphere. The owners are wonderful people to begin with, that gave that place a lot of charm. The food is a lavish travel through the Italian cuisine and the quality is perfect. Did I mention that they have a great selection of vines and that you need to try their espresso, after all? I will describe my experience both in the hotel and in the restaurant. I have been going to eat there often with my son in the last 3 years, it is my favorite choice in zeitz (we are italian, and we like something different from pasta and pizza on offer on the menu). I like a lot the environment, the mill and the channel outside. My son likes the animals that show up there now and then. It is also good that there is a parking place for autos of course. The service is friendly and caring.
About the hotel, I spent there one night this weekend, and that I liked even better than the restaurant. When I consider the price I paid, I believe this will be the most convenient snäppchen in a long time. One of the windows of my room was looking at the channel and the green outside, very relaxing. Well there were other two windows, ie the room was much bigger than I expected in a 3* hotel. The furniture was old fashioned and charming, nevertheless modern comforts like WIFI-internet, hair dryer, LCD television were not missing. Bathing products and the like were of good quality and abundant (not the rule in zeitz, and by now I believe I have tried all the hotels). The place was also very clean. We did not use it, but there was a very small gym with infrared sauna available, certainly a plus in cases when weather is bad. Quite close to the elsterradweg, in case you are a cyclist this is certainly a good option.

In sum, I am back home, very relaxed, very satisfied for how I spent my money.
