Where to stay in Lubeck

Lovely and conveniently located hotel with really friendly staff. It's a short 10mins walk to the Innerstadt and right next to the main station. The room is really clean and everything is well maintained. Highly recommended!

I can only rate this hotel 5*... my wife got sick after dinner in a sushi restaurant. Next morning we overslept and we were too late for breakfast. We were much surprised that they waited with the breakfast buffet for us! We really appreciate this service. Hotel itself is very clean and conveniently located close to the historical city center.

The hotel is located about 10 minutes walk outside Lübeck with limited parking outside. The bus station is no more than 3 minutes away. The family room was not spacious, but more than sufficient for one night. The bed was a bit on the soft side. The dining area was real cozy. This hotel is dog friendly.

Nice and central with free parking. Decent breakfast (included) and friendly staff. Only minuse is the lack of ventilation in the room.

Great hospitality, bed comfortable but too much noise from the street. It starts already around 530 in the morning. I would definitely ask for a room at the backside of the hotel. Restaurant is great. We had a lovely steak, fries and Cesar salad. Breakfast: excellent bread.

August 2nd 2020 for 1 night. Lovely lovely. I believe it.is refurbished. The washroom is beautiful and clean. The room is wonderful and clean with 2.single beds and 2 sofa beds. It was better than the 4 star hotels we went to in Hamburg and Berlin. The breakfast was nice.

July 2020. Room 15. One night stop on way to Berlin - fully refurbed room to high standard. Fantastic shower 💦. Room a little warm at night but fan provided which is a nice touch. Restaurant (you need to book) is very good high quality italian. The pork steaks fantastic 👌🏻👌🏻.

The hotel is located in the Alt Stadt, so it's very walkable. Our room for three was efficient, offering a separate room for the second bed, and a view of the inner courtyard. No complimentary coffee in our room, but Breakfast downstairs was included in our booking, and it did not disappoint, as it offered much more than I could eat in a morning breakfast! A budget hotel that was clean but dated in decor. The lighting in the bathroom needs to be brighter and whilst we had a kettle, no coffee or tea were provided. If I had asked it probably would of been. The room wasn't serviced, but not an issue for us. Beds comfy enough, tv and internet available. The only real down side for us was there is no facility for leaving luggage for a couple of hours...

Small room on 4th Floor. Only one electrical socket in room, one in bathroom. Not good when trying to charge 2 headsets for motorbike, 2 phones, an ipad and one used for my breathing machine. Light socket broken. Shower head holder broken but in a quiet side street with difficult parking for car. Motorbikes on the sidewalk job done. Friendly 'n helpful staff Ok hotel in the middle of everything. Close to many bars and restaurants. Clean 'n nice rooms And IF something was missing the staff were happy to replace is The only minus was that we had to PAY EXTRA for store our bikes (in a place that wasn't used anyway) And the hotel breakfasts (all hotels) is FAR to expensive!) so we skipped it

Perfect location, the rooms are clean but outdated. For 120 euros a night for a small room, you might expect your shower not to be calcified, enough wall outlets for your devices (and one next to your bed), and an alarm clock that can be turned off.

This is a very good budget hotel and an affordable alternative to more expensive hotels in/near the city centre of Lübeck. We had the family room with a sofa converted to a bed for our son. There is a quick and frequent bus connection to the city centre. Rooms are equipped with kettle and coffee/tea. The road next to hotel is busy, but there is good sound insulation and darkening through electric window...

Nice place Good place to stay!

We had a good stay at the hotel, very happy with the place. The only real downside we experienced was the automatic check in - didn't work when we arrived. All we had to do was go to the hotel reception 50m and then we got checked in. The location itself isn't amazing, but it's walking distance from the Altstadt and parking in the garage was easy - and included charging for our EV.

Check in is supposed to be at a computer, but the supplier of this service is facing technical issues. Therefore, we were pleased that the very friendly staff at the Vier Jahreszeiten hotel was able to assist, also with replacing a broken shower. Despite these minor issues, a very comfortable stay to a reasonable price.

The hotel was clean and the room, just what I needed. It was confusing checking in with the kiosk, especially since I prepaid through *******. There is a sign that directs people to check in at the hotel next door and the front desk staff were nice and professional.

Affordable newly renovated rooms. Car parking nearby for a fee or park for free at Bauhaus parking across the street, the car can be seen from the hotel. Motorbikes can be parked outside the hotel which is not visible from the street, behind the stone fence, 2 motorbikes!

Value for money Hyggeligt lille Hotel med bekvem afstand (bus) til Lubeck. Gammeldags indrettet, men fint og rent og god størrelse på værelset. Morgenmaden er ikke prangende, men ok

We really enjoyed our stay, our room was spacious with a nice view. It was clean and very comfortable. The hosts were welcoming and helpful. The breakfast surpassed our expectations it had a big selection of fresh and tasty food items. We would be delighted to return some day.

Just perfect! A perfect stay in a beautiful city, location is perfect in a quiet neighbourhood and 2 minutes walk from the number 12 bus stop which takes you into the city. The lady owner speaks very good English and is a real character with a great sense of humour and this made our stay very enjoyable. Cozy hotel in green and silent part of Lübeck. The owners gave us a very friendly reception. We had an excellent breakfast, with details that made us happy, like a boiled egg with a smiling face.

Business Trip 1 night. This was a great hotel and location (just away from the city centre) . Room was spotless and comfortable - love the balcony and view across the water and the town.The main Boss chap (I think the manager or owner) was very polite and helpful, and his English was better than mine. The Hacienda Rodzio brazilian restaurant for the hotel was 'Excellent' - the rodzio menu is superb...

Weekend stay Nice hotel but very old which is also very charming but it needs to be refurbished. Could be maintained better. Nice with kettle, coffee and tea in the room. The bathroom smelled a little bit of fungus and was old. The beds were hard. Nice view and the room was big.

Nice little hotel, a few kilometres from the city centre of Lübeck. The rooms are quite basic, but functional and very clean. Super friendly and welcoming owners. Breakfast was OK, nothing fancy (bread rolls, coffee/tea/juice, muesli with milk/yoghurt and a bit of fruit). Overall very good value for money. Recommend.

Great and children friendly place. We spend one night there, two adults and two small children and loved how cozy it is. Breakfast was delicious and children were very happy with their special plates and napkins and cacao. Thank you for short, but lovely stay!

Exceptionally nice staff who make everything possible! We were able to stay in the hotel even when there was no space. Beds were carried in the room with covers and bedlinen. The breakfast is awesome and rich. The owner showed us around after the breakfast in the most biodiverse garden I have seen with birds, bees, butterflies, well smelling flowers.

This is a small family owned pension. The rooms are a bit small. There is a lot of stairs and no lift. The breakfast is in a lovely sunroom. The beds are very firm and the bathrooms are a bit small. If you're looking for "creature comforts" this is not for you. The staff/owners are wonderful and will go out of their way for you tho.

Beautiful quaint hotel with excellent food and even better massages! We stayed in room 44 and the room was spacious and quiet. The grounds of the hotel are simply beautiful. Dinner was mouthwatering and breakfast although quite simple, very fresh and tasty. Our massage therapist was excellent!

We travelled from the US to this lovely country inn for a family reunion. It was wonderful. The staff was welcoming and helpful and the location so very peaceful and beautiful. There were beautiful grounds and the reunion dinner at the restaurant was delicious. Breakfast also had an extension selection, and everything was fresh and tasty. It's a beautiful property for a quiet rest, so long as you stay at the property as there is nothing else in the area within walking distance. Spa services were not as advertised, and had to be booked an hour in advance, and were not the same hours as listed - closing at 6PM instead of 9PM, with massage having to be booked even further in advance.

Nice quiet hotel . A really nice hotel , well away from the bustle of Lubek [so no walking in to town] offering excellent service but quite pricey ! A good place for a relaxing break or stopover [as we were] on your European road trip to or from Denmark. Surrounded by corn fields and gardens . Oh - I nearly forgot , they can’t spell Potato !

Been here many times now. Beautiful hotel with excellent service and the restaurant is serving amazing food and wine. Sitting outside during summer is great. Close enough to easy get to Lübeck city center as well.

Super nice hotel near Lübeck. The rooms, bathroom/toilet and the hotel in general are nice, maintained and clean. The breakfast is tip-top - half pre-ordered and otherwise served at the table (no buffet). It's not fair to complain about the hotel's location - you can look at a map. If you think it's downtown Lübeck, you're wrong. But it's in a great location with 40 meters to a cheap and frequent bus...

The hotel is located not far from the center of Lübeck, has a private parking and a well-kept garden. The rooms are nicely decorated. The breakfast is good, but it could be a bit better, because there were some fresh fruit and cereas present. You can also take drinks and a few snacks from the refrigerator, these are then paid for at the end of your stay. You can take many trips in Lübeck from here

A wonderfully quiet little hotel with a very friendly hostess who gave us a warm welcome. Our room was a good size with plenty of storage space. The bathroom was lovely and perfectly adequate. Breakfast was prepared with care and some items were even customized. Everything was clean and well-maintained. There's a shopping center with various shops across the street, but you can't hear a thing

Great location for walking the Old Town. Many dining and shopping options. We had Our Own parking space with a key. Clean, safe, comfortable and a great price.

We are a family of 4 travelling. We knew, 2 would be sleeping on the couch in the living room. The couch was not comfortable to sleep on - at all! The only one not complaining, was our youngest, who is 5. The apartment was fine, but very budget furnished. We could've used more than 6 dinner plates and a larger kitchen knife. And I don't know why the beds in the bedroom is only 80x200... The location...

Dejligt ophold og super lejlighed med meget stor altan med flot udsigt. God placering i byen,men manglede p plads. Sengene var for hårde der skulle have været en top madras, men vi kommer gerne igen :-)

Close to town and family run by the looks of it. My toilet had some issues, but other than that it was a fine place to stay when most of the time is spent out sightseeing. The view from the room looked into the lake and that was beautiful!

The lovely staffers at this small hotel really set it apart. They are knowledgeable, kind, helpful, warm, and welcoming. I asked about a local Turkish Bath and they looked up the website, made me a reservation, and even found the name of the English-speaking employee I should ask for. I stay here every time I visit Lübeck.

Wow. A positively magical building and a lovely room. Clean, comfortable, cosy and with a very special atmosphere. Loved the honesty bar and the simple and very tasty breakfast of cheese, jam, fruit and bread. Warm and friendly staff and very welcoming to vegetarians. Thanks to them for looking after us! 😀

One of the most incredible and memorable places I’ve ever stayed in. Our rooms had medieval wall paintings, renaissance wall panels and ceilings and were huge. Exceptionally comfortable and well appointed, staff are extremely efficient, polite, friendly and helpful. The only slightly negative comment I have and in a building of its age, to be expected, is the central heating was rather noisy!

The room had a nice floor and the room was otherwise elegantly decorated and the bathroom had loose soap, a small bottle of shampoo, body cream and a shower cap which are no longer available in hotels, as well as a free bottle of water when I arrived...

We chose Hotel Jensen for its location and price, and it was so much more: prompt, professional, friendly staff, and the best breakfast facilities and service we could ask for. Plus an excellent restaurant for lunch and/or dinner. The breakfast matron provided us an outstanding package of food for our early-morning departure.

A casual hotel that’s no too ‘touristy’ in the sense that it’s not very large and is rather gemütlich even though it’s not a small family hotel anymore. The average size is perfect for a place like Lübeck. Our (family) room was nice and large enough for the three of us. The second bedroom is a good feature. Perhaps the only thing we really didn’t like about our room was that it was rather hot; no aircon...

Hotel is located in central location with a beautiful view to a Gate and river. Was mentioned in a documents( and became a hotel soon after) before Columbus discovered America. How cool :). Rooms are cosy and simple. Service is very welcoming and attentive. No problem with parking or finding place to eat.

Fantastic stay - front desk is VERY accommodating in a very non-German way … parking is a bit rough, but the view makes up for that. The breakfast, as with pretty much any German hotel breakfast, is outstanding. Shower is SUPER slippery - careful!

Perfect for a break of journey, it was great to be close to the station. Room was compact but clean and bright, comfortable beds, good shower, good free wifi. Remote check in process was super efficient, and it was great to have until 12 to check out as we could leave our luggage in the room and visit some of the city before moving on.

We stayed with a group of 19 people. On our trip through Europe. And we are very happy with our stay
