Spa-Hotels in Westerland

Very satisfied Excellent welcome upon checkin - the hotel and it’s amenities were shown in a professional friendly manner. Dinner was delicious with generous portions

Great Experience I liked the place. They take their business really serious. A bit old fashioned and that makes the charm of this hotel. When I arrived on a late Sunday afternoon, the manager on duty insisted to personally show me around and to explain all the features of the hotel to me. I stayed for three days and had a great time. The restaurant is a bit pricey but offers excellent food.

As long as they allow smoking inside hotel (bar area), we will not come back.

Lovely 3-night stay in this great hotel located in an old building with character by the beach. Personnel are supper attentive and pay great attention to detail. Facilities include gym, swimming pool and a spa area with saunas. Great breakfast experience with varied buffet and a la carte options.

Wonderful, clean hotel with hands on management. The breakfast buffet is great and the hotel hosts a top bar. The location is perfect for the beach and a short distance from the train. Look forward to coming back - thanks to all for making this hotel worthy of its 5 stars

Great traditional grand hotel with family service and a prime location!

Stayed for a week, the room is smaller than expected for the price they charge. The location is great with walking distance to town and beach. The breakfast buffet was excellent but there is no lunch or dinner service which was an issue during two of the rainstorm days where it is impossible to head out for food without getting completely soaked. Our cleaning lady lost both my tooth brush and one of...

Stayed there for almost a week with our dog , had so much fun we booked an extra night . After knowing we are coming with a dog the put out a doggie bed , bowls and snacks for him in our room . We had a sea side view Breakfast was amazing , not too early in the day you need to wake up extra early with a large variety of options and friendly staff . Located at the center of Sylt and is walking distance...

Lovely hotel right at the dunes with beautiful, simple but clean facilities. Highlights are generous breakfast, spa facilities such as pool to swim laps while gazing at the sea, gym, suanas and steam room. The bar on the 4th floor makes watching sunsets nice. Beach access is close. Staff person Karl made our stay 5 stars vs 4. He took time to help make us feel welcome and arranged a private guided...

A clean, modern, well-thought and environmentally friendly hotel with top quality breakfast and good choices of organic food and refreshments. Unlike those hotels under big chains, service here is personal, friendly and attentive. (They even remembered what you were looking for but couldn't get yesterday, and prepared it extra for you the next morning. .Highly recommended

Perfect Hotel with amazing staff

We were attracted to the location of this hotel when booking for 5 nights, and it did not disappoint. Easy access not only to the beach, but also to the shopping areas of Westerland, the many restaurants, and to the roadways to Kampen, List and Hornum. Accommodations were clean and comfortable, and the service generally friendly. We had breakfast included in our pricing, and this was a lovely addition...

Super centrally located, directly in the second row on the promenade. Lots of shops and restaurants in the immediate vicinity. The staff are extremely friendly and the spacious apartment with a very nice bathroom has everything you need to be able to have a self-sufficient holiday. And... Even when I only stayed 2 nights, my room was cleaned and the rubbish was disposed of. Great service! The only...

Very good location with a stunning view. Very friendly and courteous staff, plus an excellent breakfast. The rooms are spacious, clean and well-kept. The charm of days gone by has been lovingly preserved here. We felt very comfortable, thank you for the very nice stay.

A hotel will well educated and trained staffs, nice and fresh and elegant breakfast with good quality black tea

This is my second time in the Hotel Roth, very satisfied with the varied and good cuisine. Very well trained and attentive staff ensure a relaxing holiday. The house is ideally located near the beach, just a few steps away. The price-performance ratio is absolutely okay.

A bit aged but decent rooms, great location and great breakfast

We had a nice stay. The service was very friendly and helpful, and the Bing Bing Bap was delicious. Rooms were clean, and the hotel had a pleasant atmosphere. The spa and swimming pool were really good. The highlight for us was the kids’ playroom with someone there to look after the children—such a thoughtful touch!

Close to the beach but the property itself could use a refresh, especially with regard to the rate of the room

Godt Wellness Hotel Altid god service. God restaurant. Eminent morgenbuffet. Venligt personale.

This top notch resort located right on the beach is very high quality. The service is exceptional and very friendly and inviting. Plenty of free parking around. Rooms spacious and comfortable. Dogs welcome to stay in the hotel and given a special bed and food dishes. Restaurant and bar on site. The price is justifiable given the type of hotel. Recommend staying here again.

The service was amazing. All the staff was very very kind and were willing to go the extra mile to make us feel good. I can only recommend this Hotel to you.

Great hotel, breakfast fantastic, excellent service. Best part of the hotel is how kid friendly all staff members are.

We stayed there for four days and it's a perfect hotel ☺️ The staff were attentive, our room was cleaned perfectly, and everything was just right. The hotel is centrally located and just a few meters from the beach, perfect for traveling with a dog. 🐶 Our dog loved it! He had his own dog bed, bowls, and treats. All in all, perfect - thank you ❤️

Lovely stay here. Friendly staff, nice rooms

It is a lovely small hotel. I liked it a lot. Very clean and they welcomed me like a friend. The breakfasts were great. The only thing why I didn’t give them an excellent was, the room was cold and the heater was not working adequately. We had a few very stormy and rainy days, so some heat would have been helful!

This is the second time I have stayed in this hotel and I would do it again. Very friendly staff, everything very tidy and a great breakfast. A family-run hotel for me. Thank you to the entire team for a great time

A beautiful hotel, with excellent service. Arrived very late because several trains were cancelled. I received a very friendly welcome and was given a very nice double room, even though I had only booked a single room. The first refill of the minibar is included in the price. There is a large selection for breakfast. The service is attentive and friendly. I felt very well.

The staff are grateful to received visitors, clean and tidy

Everyone was very friendly, and everything was very clean! The breakfast buffet was also appealing, with something for everyone. My only complaint: the glass wall and door in the room leading to the bathroom. I would have preferred a regular wall and door! There was cake available every afternoon, which I really appreciated!

We were so surprised by how friendly and welcoming the staff at this hotel can be. We had the small double room, and it was surprisingly spacious. It was beautifully furnished, and the best part was that the toilet was in a separate room from the shower and bathtub. Breakfast was fantastic, and we were again surprised by the wide selection of drinks. The staff came to our table, asked what we wanted...

I stayed there over my birthday and felt very comfortable. The staff is friendly and attentive; they even had a birthday cake for me. The breakfast is delicious and plentiful, always freshly prepared. The rooms are clean, but very noisy. The location is central; you can quickly get to the city and the beach, and the train station is also within a 15-minute walk. I can recommend the hotel and would...

Nice hotel, excellent location.

Good location. Friendly atmosphere. Clean and quiet rooms.

Charming but Imperfect Stay Rating: 4/5 Check-in & Communication: Reception was friendly, but the hotel’s only listed phone number doesn’t work — making it impossible to confirm our dog’s stay in advance. Staff were aware but offered no solution, which was frustrating. Dog-Friendliness: The website shows a large poodle with a comfy dog bed and bowls waiting at arrival, but this didn’t reflect reality...

The hotel had to file for bankruptcy. It definitely needs renovation. But whether it will still be an option for those on lower incomes... I'm afraid not. I appreciate the friendliness of the staff.

We had a very nice stay, nice rooms and a great breakfast. The only point to mention is the poor internet connection.

It is a wonderful house, close to the ocean. It's clean, super friedly. Just wonderful

Nice pool, jacuzzi and sauna area.

- Great hotel - Fantastic location - Exemplary staff, whether at reception, breakfast, housekeeping, or anywhere else - Large parking lots (perhaps a euro or two too much). Overall, highly recommended and will be my first choice for my next stay. Thank you!

Amazing location, the hotel is close to restaurants and the bus stop which makes it very accessible. In addition, the staff members were very friendly and answered any questions we had. We're looking forward to staying here in the future.

Holiday apartment was very spacious. For me a good service and details matter! Every minute from my 24h stay in this lovely hotel was perfect! Very good breakfast!

first of all, we were upgraded to an apartment, which was unexpected.

Full marks. From the welcome to the farewell, everything deserves a very good rating. Friendly, helpful staff, a nice, spacious room, an all-round successful stay. I'd love to come back

We felt very well looked after in your hotel. The hotel is in a very well-kept condition and very clean. The staff is definitely to be praised. Especially the staff at breakfast in the morning. The breakfast is excellent. We would love to come back. The Dirk Zeller family

Good location, nice spa/pool. Friendly staff

A very family-friendly hotel with a well-maintained sauna and swimming pool. Great view of the Rantum Basin and attentive service. Would gladly return.

The pool area is great, especially in bad weather. The breakfast is delicious. Nice for walking and exploring.

The room decor is old and needs updating, the furniture was hard and uncomfortable. The swimming pool photos looked luxurious but reality more like public swimming pool, the indoor hot tub was lukewarm. At check out (10am) there was a long queue and only 1 employee on duty, we waited 25 mins only to hand the keys and bath cards over (had asked if we needed to queue and was told yes, but in fact not...

Nice hotel perfect for a family Sylt holiday. Nice hotel situated close to an amazing beach. Relaxing environment. Friendly staff. Good breakfast. Perfect base for exploring the rest of the island.

Very nice hotel with rather large, we'll equipped apartments. Friendly and helpful staff. Amazing beach close by (just a short walk). The breakfast buffet was great. All in all a perfect base for exploring the island of Sylt.

We stayed at this small hotel in January. We received a warm welcome and felt very comfortable. There's a wonderful breakfast with plenty of fresh fruit, and tea is available until late afternoon. The location is quiet and definitely perfect for people who want a break from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. There are smaller rooms in the main building and several larger apartments in the surrounding...

I spent Christmas at Hotel Strandvogtei, and it was nothing short of magical. From the moment I arrived, the atmosphere felt warm, inviting, and deeply relaxing….exactly the kind of place where you can exhale and settle into the moment. The breakfast was exceptional….fresh, generous, and prepared with real care. Every morning felt like a small celebration. And the afternoon coffee and cake were just...

We visited the Strandvogtei for the first time and were thrilled. It's the perfect place to relax for a few days by the sea. We received a very warm welcome and immediately enjoyed the excellent service. We had a lovely double room with a view of the Wadden Sea. Breakfast is prepared with great care, offering something for everyone. There's a small wellness area with a sauna and pool. We felt very...

The hotel's location is simply magical, a beautiful area surrounded by a magnificent hydrangea. Here you'll find peace and quiet and enjoy a unique view of the mudflats. The team is very welcoming, and the breakfast is wonderful (especially when you can enjoy it outside). The rooms are spacious, very clean, and bright. The service is exceptional. We highly recommend this little paradise.

Everything about this stay was unique!

A very cozy apartment with everything you might need for a long weekend getaway! the staff was very accommodating and the breakfast was fantastic! Would definitely recommend a stay here

A very warm welcome, beautiful house, lovely rooms, and a fantastic view. A lovely sauna was reserved for our room. We were completely satisfied.

The Hotel Watthof is a small, fine hotel with a great deal of flair, hospitality, and attention to detail. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there and would gladly return. A well-coordinated team helped ensure everything ran smoothly, and we had someone to contact at all times.

A true oasis of peace and beauty in Sylt – an unforgettable experience I had the pleasure of staying at the Watthof Hotel Sylt for four days, and I can only describe it as an extraordinary experience in every way. The hotel is surrounded by nature, nestled between the sea and tranquility, and immediately conveys a deep sense of well-being. The building is eco-friendly, meticulously maintained, tastefully...

The Watthof is a wonderful, small, family-run hotel in a fantastic location. All the staff are friendly, helpful, and welcoming. The breakfast is definitely worth five stars. We felt completely at ease. We'll definitely be back.

Lovely and very quite hotel with amazing view to east coast. Impressive wine offer and delicious breakfast!

Fantastic little house, family-run, exceptional breakfast. We recommend.

Very nice little hotel with spa area. You can book the spa just for your group/room 45min during the day. At morning and evening the spa is open for all guest. Afternoon coffee/tea and cake available at 15-17 o'clock free of charge at the restaurant. Also some free drinks in the minibar in the room. Very cozy place to stay. The location is far away from city, so own car is a must.

I absolutely loved the hotel. It is easily accessible and in a quiet location. The rooms are clean and the amenities are great. The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. The rich breakfast can either be taken inside or, weather permitting, outside in the beautiful garden.

Beautiful hotel. We stayed in the house across the street which was lovely and spacious with a sauna and nice backyard. It had all the amenities we needed, including a well stocked kitchen so we could make our own meals from time to time. As it’s a bit further from the centre of Sylt, taxis are a bit expensive from here, so would recommend renting a car or e-bikes to get around.

Excellent as usual. Our 2nd visit here. After last years visit my wife wanted to go back to Sylt and Hof Galerie before our time in Germany came to an end. Can't say enough good things about this property and the people running it. The rooms are spotless and comfortable. The grounds of the property are immaculate. Breakfast service is 2nd to none. Not only do they take care of us but our dog...

Amazing stay at this beautiful hotel. Very friendly and helpful staff, delicious breakfast and Kaffee und Kuchen in the afternoon. Spacious rooms, spa with sauna and pool, infrared and steambath. Unfortunately few dinner opportunities around and hotel does not serve any.

Very centrally located, absolutely clean, great breakfast with a perfect view. Friendly, attentive staff. A full 5 stars!

The hotel is located in the largest building in Westerland. The hotel is very well located and easy to reach, even by train. Westerland's beach promenade is right outside the front door. The bathroom has a powerful hairdryer, and the shower water pressure is also one of the strongest I've ever experienced. The service is very good and friendly, as is the breakfast (see photo).

Wonderful. I had a room with a balcony overlooking the sea. Perfect for enjoying a sunset with a cup of tea, especially in bad weather. Service was good. Daily cleaning. Breakfast 4/5. The only downside is that the kettle in the room is about as old as I am...

Excellent position especially out of season. We booked a suite with which we were very satisfied.

The hotel exceeded my expectations. Great service. Breakfast with sea view. The rooms are well equipped. Price performance fits.

Great location for beach, town, rail and bus station Room very clean, fresh modern decoration Cleanliness impeccable and kept so. Great value

Beautiful hotel in a perfect location. The single room is perfectly adequate. The breakfast buffet leaves nothing to be desired. The staff is very friendly.

Great location, right in the town center; you can quickly reach the beach or all the shops. A fantastic, extensive breakfast buffet and consistently friendly service. The only downside was the extremely small room, which definitely needs some modernization. The bathroom and shower were also very small.

great location, clean and comfortable rooms, delicious breakfast and nicely served tables, very friendly staff. all in all, a nice atmosphere in the hotel and the island itself is beautiful ❤

A top location at the top end of Friedrichstrasse. There are shops, restaurants and cafes nearby. The location is quiet and in 3 minutes you are right on the beach in Westerland. The staff were super friendly and accommodating. The rooms are very clean and practically furnished. The breakfast buffet was very extensive and varied. The service here was also very friendly. Highly recommended.

Small, very centrally located hotel with good facilities and a great breakfast buffet. Small sauna area until 8:30 p.m. Very friendly and helpful staff. Room quite small, but at a very good price.

Friendly welcome, most of the rooms were very good, with a balcony rather not an inner courtyard. Very clean, breakfast okay, nice little sauna, wine bar with snacks. Ideal location on Friedrichstrasse, 3 minutes to the beach. Ideal for a short vacation on Sylt!

A very nice hotel, one of the best in Westerland...very centrally located, quiet, extremely clean, furnished with attention to detail, great service staff, and a fantastic breakfast with the best rolls. We felt very comfortable, thank you, and will definitely come back.

A small, cozy hotel with a fantastic breakfast and a very central location. The rooms are very clean, and the staff is exceptionally friendly; we truly felt welcome. A delicious cake buffet is offered in the afternoon. The beach, restaurants, cafes, and shops are all nearby. A huge thank you to the lovely cleaning staff who so quickly make the rooms spotless, and to Ms. N., who has now given us such...

Small but perfectly formed. A quiet hotel in a prime location, roughly halfway between the train station and the beach, just a few meters away on a side street from the Friedrichstrasse shopping area. The rooms are excellent and equipped with all the standard amenities such as a TV and safe, etc., clean and spacious, with plenty of room for clothes and accessories. The breakfast offers an outstanding...

A small but very fine 4-star bed and breakfast hotel, frequented mainly by regular guests. The breakfast is definitely one of the best on the island. A wide variety of breads and rolls from the in-house bakery make for a wonderful start to the day. For us, it's the perfect hotel, located right in the center of Westerland.

The hotel is in a quiet yet central location, with shops and restaurants less than 50 meters away. The rooms are very well-equipped and modern. Carpeted floors in the hallway and rooms make it very quiet. The breakfast is varied and plentiful. The staff is very friendly and helpful. One point is deducted for cleanliness. We would gladly return.

Spectacular food and wine cellar. All the makings and attention of a Michelin restaurant, but no fuss. A real treat.

Excellent wines and cuisine. Update 2024 - excellence in ervery respect.

We had an amazing dinner here. Food was delicious. Professional service. Our table was at the bar, cozy atmosphere.

Maybe everyone is knowing this restaurant but I guess this is the most underrated one in this category on the island. Delicious meals, extraordinary wines, great stuff and the best chef/ owner/ host you can imagine. Had an unforgettable evening/ experience here. 10 points!!! Chapeau. Cordially and see you soon Daniel

The best fish soup - ever - he just knows how to cook - grande cuisine
