Great Experience I liked the place. They take their business really serious. A bit old fashioned and that makes the charm of this hotel. When I arrived on a late Sunday afternoon, the manager on duty insisted to personally show me around and to explain all the features of the hotel to me. I stayed for three days and had a great time. The restaurant is a bit pricey but offers excellent food.

As long as they allow smoking inside hotel (bar area), we will not come back.

Lovely 3-night stay in this great hotel located in an old building with character by the beach. Personnel are supper attentive and pay great attention to detail. Facilities include gym, swimming pool and a spa area with saunas. Great breakfast experience with varied buffet and a la carte options.

Stayed for a week, the room is smaller than expected for the price they charge. The location is great with walking distance to town and beach. The breakfast buffet was excellent but there is no lunch or dinner service which was an issue during two of the rainstorm days where it is impossible to head out for food without getting completely soaked. This is my second time in the Hotel Roth, very satisfied with the varied and good cuisine. Very well trained and attentive staff ensure a relaxing holiday. The house is ideally located near the beach, just a few steps away. The price-performance ratio is absolutely okay.

A bit aged but decent rooms, great location and great breakfast

Everyone was very friendly, and everything was very clean! The breakfast buffet was also appealing, with something for everyone. My only complaint: the glass wall and door in the room leading to the bathroom. I would have preferred a regular wall and door! There was cake available every afternoon, which I really appreciated!

We had a nice stay. The service was very friendly and helpful, and the Bing Bing Bap was delicious. Rooms were clean, and the hotel had a pleasant atmosphere. The spa and swimming pool were really good. The highlight for us was the kids’ playroom with someone there to look after the children—such a thoughtful touch!

This top notch resort located right on the beach is very high quality. The service is exceptional and very friendly and inviting. Plenty of free parking around. Rooms spacious and comfortable. Dogs welcome to stay in the hotel and given a special bed and food dishes. Restaurant and bar on site. The price is justifiable given the type of hotel. Recommend staying here again.

We stayed there for four days and it's a perfect hotel ☺️ The staff were attentive, our room was cleaned perfectly, and everything was just right. It is a lovely small hotel. I liked it a lot. Very clean and they welcomed me like a friend. The breakfasts were great. The only thing why I didn’t give them an excellent was, the room was cold and the heater was not working adequately. We had a few very stormy and rainy days, so some heat would have been helful!

A beautiful hotel, with excellent service. Arrived very late because several trains were cancelled. I received a very friendly welcome and was given a very nice double room, even though I had only booked a single room. The first refill of the minibar is included in the price. There is a large selection for breakfast. The service is attentive and friendly. I felt very well.

The swimming pool photos looked luxurious but reality more like public swimming pool, the indoor hot tub was lukewarm. The hotel's location is simply magical, a beautiful area surrounded by a magnificent hydrangea. Here you'll find peace and quiet and enjoy a unique view of the mudflats. The team is very welcoming, and the breakfast is wonderful (especially when you can enjoy it outside). The rooms are spacious, very clean, and bright. The service is exceptional. Very nice little hotel with spa area. You can book the spa just for your group/room 45min during the day. At morning and evening the spa is open for all guest. Afternoon coffee/tea and cake available at 15-17 o'clock free of charge at the restaurant. Also some free drinks in the minibar in the room. Very cozy place to stay. The location is far away from city, so own car is a must.

I absolutely loved the hotel. It is easily accessible and in a quiet location. The rooms are clean and the amenities are great. The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. The rich breakfast can either be taken inside or, weather permitting, outside in the beautiful garden.

Beautiful hotel. We stayed in the house across the street which was lovely and spacious with a sauna and nice backyard. It had all the amenities we needed, including a well stocked kitchen so we could make our own meals from time to time. As it’s a bit further from the centre of Sylt, taxis are a bit expensive from here, so would recommend renting a car or e-bikes to get around.

The hotel is located in the largest building in Westerland. The hotel is very well located and easy to reach, even by train. Westerland's beach promenade is right outside the front door. The bathroom has a powerful hairdryer, and the shower water pressure is also one of the strongest I've ever experienced. The service is very good and friendly, as is the breakfast (see photo).

A top location at the top end of Friedrichstrasse. There are shops, restaurants and cafes nearby. The location is quiet and in 3 minutes you are right on the beach in Westerland. A small but very fine 4-star bed and breakfast hotel, frequented mainly by regular guests. The breakfast is definitely one of the best on the island. A wide variety of breads and rolls from the in-house bakery make for a wonderful start to the day. For us, it's the perfect hotel, located right in the center of Westerland.
