Don’t be put off by the picture We were just passing through Altenburg staying for one night so booked this based on price rather than aesthetic appeal and had no expectations of greatness. We were very pleasantly surprised. The receptionist was very pleasant and helpful. The room was large and clean with a good bathroom. The bar also helped things along. Overall I would recommend this hotel...

One room was at the end of a long corridor and above or below a fitness centre which in the middle of the night was very noisy. It sounded as if someone was throwing weights around the place. And another room had spiders in it, crawling over the person in bed and biting her, red spots on her skin, and she had to visit an Apotheke the next day.

Super nice lady at the reception. For breakfast there is everything you need for breakfast. Unfortunately had to leave earlier, but was cleared without any problems. We will be back. Stay healthy.

Nice Italian Restaurant (Manager Agelo Antoniolli) with superior food and good wine sortiment. Better to reservate a table before visiting to be save. Next the restaurant you have a very good Hotel with Rooms with banion in the bathroom. And you look at the small see of Altenburg.

Access to the building outside of service hours is possible at any time via door code/keycard. Very clean and modern room with TV, Wi-Fi, comfortable bed, and bathroom with shower and toilet. The breakfast buffet was perfectly adequate and delicious. Parking is available nearby. Very friendly and courteous service. I would definitely come back!

A hidden Gem! This great hotel was recently renovated or rebuilt and is centrally located with great access to the inner city pedestrian area. We had a modern room with garage parking and elevator access and could walk to all the central attractions. The hotel staff was very attentive and made our stay with two little children very comfortable and enjoyable.

We stayed in the older house. Very clean and well maintained. Breakfast very plentiful, lovingly and great made. Wishes are fulfilled immediately (extra water & egg)

I'd like to review the hotel in Zeitz where I always stay on business trips. It's super clean, and the breakfast is simply delicious! The staff is very nice and friendly, which always makes you feel well looked after. An additional plus point is the large parking lot right in front of the hotel, and the location in the heart of town couldn't be better. If I stay in Zeitz, it's only here! Highly recommended

This was my second time as a guest, but due to the disappointment this time it will definitely be the last time. If you are dependent on a socket directly by the bed, you should clarify this at the beginning. However, upon request I was helped with an extension cord. The billing, the check-out was a disaster (but it was not due to the staff present). Breakfast is okay despite everything.

This is a very unique Italian restaurant with a wonderful atmosphere. The owners are wonderful people to begin with, that gave that place a lot of charm. The food is a lavish travel through the Italian cuisine and the quality is perfect. Did I mention that they have a great selection of vines and that you need to try their espresso, after all? First of all, the service guy at the desk was very nice and helpful, although he told me that the schnitzelmanufaktur kitchen closed at 20.00 and that i should go somewhere else, which was wrong. Very small hotel in a small city. Rooms with only a single bed and quite low on amenities. Service and breakfast was okay and it's only 5 minutes away from city center.

Quiet, dated hotel that could use a refresh. We didn't eat there, I think because of the due to the low occupancy the kitchen was closed. We saw not even one other guest during our 2-night stay, only one helpful gentleman at reception when we arrived and departed. Our room was small but clean and the bed was very comfortable. The decor is from the mid-80s which isn't necessarily a negative point...

On business on March 3, 2026, I stayed overnight with breakfast. Check-in was convenient via a key safe; everything went smoothly online. Finally, a spacious hotel room (even with an (empty) minibar for me to stock myself). Breakfast was a very pleasant surprise. The scrambled eggs were freshly made especially for me and were some of the best I've ever had. 5/5 I would stay again

The best Hotel in Gera. Very big rooms, very polite and helpful employees. Top central location. The Sauna is rather new and is a blessing during the stay there. I can fully recommend this top Hotel to anyone considering travelling to Gera.

A big hotel in a mid sized city, Victor's core benefits are it's gorgeous interior paired with a great breakfast and bar area. The rooms are alright, clean and big. I stayed here whilst on business in Zickau. The staff here are all friendly. The check in and out was quick and efficient. The room was clean and there was plenty of options for breakfast. The location is just a few minutes walk from the main restaurant area and also the park.

From pluses I can only mention that it's kind of central and every room where I have been has a 🛁 bath. 4 stars mainly based on price and value. As a 4 Star hotel it means you get the privilege to pay for Internet $10, parking $7, breakfast $11, and sauna. The room has ac, but it doesn't work well in either of our two rooms. Even cool outside it couldn't cool our rooms after 2 hours. Eventually gave up and opened windows, but fair amount of noise from the street and bugs because no screens on Windows...

3-3.5 stars would be fair. The room was rather large and the bathroom/shower were decent. The bed wasn’t very comfortable, but not bad for a 1-2 night stay. The AC wasn’t working properly. Thankfully I stayed there in the fall, so it didn’t get too warm. The staff members were all rather pleasant.

Lovely little hotel a bit far from the city center. Rooms were big, clean and comfortable. Arrived a bit after the reception closed (19:30), but luckily the owner arrived in no time. Parking was free, breakfast wasn't.

The hotel has a nice atmosphere and is around 20 km from Chemnitz. Easily accessible from the highway with plenty of parking spaces. The hotel rooms are clean and functional. The bed is very small - very unusual. I didn't think the kitchen was really good. The entrecot was a real disaster (size, Taste, quality), and the breakfast buffet wasn't good either. This is the place where you wanna celebrate your wedding for sure. I would. Is so romantic and a special place. Close to the medieval castle. I love the garden and the open space available here. Architecture is also awesome, medieval style.

Not value for the money The food from the restaurant was excellent. The service was super good. The bed was hard, old and worn, so woke with backpains. The pillow was very lumpy. I will not stay there again because off the bad sleeping experience.

It was noisy in the evening/night due to various meetings and parties. The room was not even cleaned during the stay and you had to get fresh towels yourself. The towel in the room had been hanging there for so long that it was yellowed and dusty. The non-smoking room used to be a smoker's room (as was my colleague's) and smelled strongly of cold smoke. Breakfast was the only bright spot.
