Don’t be put off by the picture We were just passing through Altenburg staying for one night so booked this based on price rather than aesthetic appeal and had no expectations of greatness. We were very pleasantly surprised. The receptionist was very pleasant and helpful. The room was large and clean with a good bathroom. The bar also helped things along. Overall I would recommend this hotel...

One room was at the end of a long corridor and above or below a fitness centre which in the middle of the night was very noisy. It sounded as if someone was throwing weights around the place. And another room had spiders in it, crawling over the person in bed and biting her, red spots on her skin, and she had to visit an Apotheke the next day.

Super nice lady at the reception. For breakfast there is everything you need for breakfast. Unfortunately had to leave earlier, but was cleared without any problems. We will be back. Stay healthy.

Nice Italian Restaurant (Manager Agelo Antoniolli) with superior food and good wine sortiment. Better to reservate a table before visiting to be save. Next the restaurant you have a very good Hotel with Rooms with banion in the bathroom. And you look at the small see of Altenburg.

Access to the building outside of service hours is possible at any time via door code/keycard. Very clean and modern room with TV, Wi-Fi, comfortable bed, and bathroom with shower and toilet. The breakfast buffet was perfectly adequate and delicious. Parking is available nearby. Very friendly and courteous service. I would definitely come back!

The staff was really nice and helpful. The room was lovely and very comfortable.

A hidden Gem! This great hotel was recently renovated or rebuilt and is centrally located with great access to the inner city pedestrian area. We had a modern room with garage parking and elevator access and could walk to all the central attractions. The hotel staff was very attentive and made our stay with two little children very comfortable and enjoyable.

We stayed in the older house. Very clean and well maintained. Breakfast very plentiful, lovingly and great made. Wishes are fulfilled immediately (extra water & egg)

I'd like to review the hotel in Zeitz where I always stay on business trips. It's super clean, and the breakfast is simply delicious! The staff is very nice and friendly, which always makes you feel well looked after. An additional plus point is the large parking lot right in front of the hotel, and the location in the heart of town couldn't be better. If I stay in Zeitz, it's only here! Highly recommended

This was my second time as a guest, but due to the disappointment this time it will definitely be the last time. If you are dependent on a socket directly by the bed, you should clarify this at the beginning. However, upon request I was helped with an extension cord. The billing, the check-out was a disaster (but it was not due to the staff present). Breakfast is okay despite everything.

This is a very unique Italian restaurant with a wonderful atmosphere. The owners are wonderful people to begin with, that gave that place a lot of charm. The food is a lavish travel through the Italian cuisine and the quality is perfect. Did I mention that they have a great selection of vines and that you need to try their espresso, after all? I was there with 5 friends , you just get to the reception and find the friendliest stuff ever !! The rooms are so nice and so clean ! The hospitality is 100/10 . First of all, the service guy at the desk was very nice and helpful, although he told me that the schnitzelmanufaktur kitchen closed at 20.00 and that i should go somewhere else, which was wrong. Very small hotel in a small city. Rooms with only a single bed and quite low on amenities. Service and breakfast was okay and it's only 5 minutes away from city center.

Quiet, dated hotel that could use a refresh. We didn't eat there, I think because of the due to the low occupancy the kitchen was closed. We saw not even one other guest during our 2-night stay, only one helpful gentleman at reception when we arrived and departed. Our room was small but clean and the bed was very comfortable. The decor is from the mid-80s which isn't necessarily a negative point...

On business on March 3, 2026, I stayed overnight with breakfast. Check-in was convenient via a key safe; everything went smoothly online. Finally, a spacious hotel room (even with an (empty) minibar for me to stock myself). Breakfast was a very pleasant surprise. Beautiful surroundings, polite service. The breakfast is particularly delicious, and there is a wide variety to choose from.

The best Hotel in Gera. Very big rooms, very polite and helpful employees. Top central location. The Sauna is rather new and is a blessing during the stay there. I can fully recommend this top Hotel to anyone considering travelling to Gera.

A big hotel in a mid sized city, Victor's core benefits are it's gorgeous interior paired with a great breakfast and bar area. The rooms are alright, clean and big. The hotel is located in the middle of the city and directly connected by public transport. The personal was especially friendly! Happy people serving in a happy place.

I stayed here whilst on business in Zickau. The staff here are all friendly. The check in and out was quick and efficient. The room was clean and there was plenty of options for breakfast. The location is just a few minutes walk from the main restaurant area and also the park.

Very nice hotell with tasty food and a great breakfast.

Hotel is quite ok, a bit expensive though for what it offers. Nice bar, breakfast buffet could be a bit richer. City centre with possibility to park in the garage (extra cost on top of expensive room rates)

Perfect rooms, lots of choices for breakfast and they even have a greek restaurant in their structure. One of the best choices if you are around Zwickau.

Location a little far from the city, but there have bus every 30 mins. Bus stop just outside of the hotel.

The hotel is nice, and the staff is very friendly and welcoming. However, the breakfast is quite basic, with no fresh fruits available. It could definitely be improved with more variety. Overall, a good stay, but the breakfast was a bit disappointing.

I recently stayed at the Mercure Hotel and had an exceptional experience. The breakfast was a highlight of my stay, offering a wide variety of delicious and fresh options each morning. 3-3.5 stars would be fair. The room was rather large and the bathroom/shower were decent. The bed wasn’t very comfortable, but not bad for a 1-2 night stay. The AC wasn’t working properly. Thankfully I stayed there in the fall, so it didn’t get too warm. The staff members were all rather pleasant.

Lovely little hotel a bit far from the city center. Rooms were big, clean and comfortable. Arrived a bit after the reception closed (19:30), but luckily the owner arrived in no time. Parking was free, breakfast wasn't.

Rooms small but ok. Clean and functional. Bathrooms very well-maintained. Parking in front of the house.

Hurry comfortable, the people inside are very warm; the weekend also will ask do you want to go, on the way can bring you; from the railway station and 10 minutes from the bus station is 5 minutes away; if it is in Hohenstein near to work, can stay here.

We liked taking a walk in the park and seeing the Burg. Plus, we ate at Lilly's and walked there too!

The hotel has a nice atmosphere and is around 20 km from Chemnitz. Easily accessible from the highway with plenty of parking spaces. The hotel rooms are clean and functional. The bed is very small - very unusual. I didn't think the kitchen was really good. The entrecot was a real disaster (size, Taste, quality), and the breakfast buffet wasn't good either. Overall, there are better places in Chemnitz

Not value for the money The food from the restaurant was excellent. The service was super good. The bed was hard, old and worn, so woke with backpains. The pillow was very lumpy. I will not stay there again because off the bad sleeping experience.

Great staff, basic clean room. The hotel look a bit worn but the staff were absolutely fantastic.

Friendly staff and a good, but relatively expensive, breakfast. The hotel is located in a remote area and is difficult to reach by public transport; however, ample parking is available. A small pool and fitness room are also available.

My stay was great , the hotel was in good condition, rooms well equipped and clean when I arrived. Lots of parking which cost €8. Staff extremely friendly. Only minor complaint was I stayed 4 nights and left the note on the door to clean the room twice but it was never cleaned. As it was an apartment, the bins were full to overflowing. Still a minor issue and I would use again

It was noisy in the evening/night due to various meetings and parties. The room was not even cleaned during the stay and you had to get fresh towels yourself. The towel in the room had been hanging there for so long that it was yellowed and dusty. The non-smoking room used to be a smoker's room (as was my colleague's) and smelled strongly of cold smoke. Breakfast was the only bright spot.

The rooms are spacious but could use a little touch up. The beds in the luxury double room are unfortunately very small.. I’ve been very unlucky with getting food. I tried to order diner on arrival, which wasn’t possible because “the room service is taken care of by the restaurant which closes at 9pm” So I tried to order lunch the next day, which wasn’t possible because “due to Covid the restaurant...

Choose this hotel because the area was familiar. What for a great place. The owners such a nice couple and helpful. The rooms are a retreat. Didnt expect the hospitality and was a huge releave as we fellt welcomed and almost at home in our cute little apartment.

There is no refrigerator in the room, no ventilation in toilet, for 4 days i stay in hotel the cleaning service was cleaned my toiled and replaced towel just one time, some bad smell from lift... Hotel was pretty good, but have some mistake in management... Parking was like 5€, breakfast was like 13,9€... There was and good thing, like there was modern desing, you are in center of town, nice ppl on...

4 night stay , clean comfy,friendly and very helpful staff , as we were working late our return times back from our shows was late .. the bar was kept open and on 2 occasions they open the kitchen at midnight for burgers and spaghetti Bolognese, which was delightful Great shower comfortable bed Downside was No air-con or blackout blinds , 6am sun ☀️ through my window was so HOT and blinding Would...

The feeling is kinda odd, like from one of those American teen slasher movies from the 80s' hahaha, but I quite liked it ! 👍😀

Ok for overnight stay, only drawback WiFi need to re initialize every one hour... Friendly staffs

A nice little hotel, in a (at least on Sundays) almost deserted little town. But friendly staff, English talking, nice and fairly clean rooms. Came late, departed early, a pleasant stay, fair price, will do again. :)

Very cozy place and quite. I walked there 6km in the night. I don't recommend that. Haha
