Best Western Premier Grand Hotel Russischer Hof in Weimar

I have been to Weimar several times, so I have tried both smaller and larger hotels in this beautiful city. I always look for a hotel that is in the center, but at the same time quiet, which means that it does not have windows to a busy street. The Best Western Premier Grand Russischer Hof completely exceeded all my expectations! The hotel is right in the center, I stayed in a room that has windows to a side street, so it was absolutely quiet. The room had a very comfortable bed, a beautiful bathtub and was generally beautifully equipped. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Of all the hotels I have tried in Weimar, this one is definitely the best. In the others, I was bothered by the noise or not very professional staff or the room was nice but had little storage space. I am very glad that I discovered this gem among hotels!

The staff is so friendly and helpful, the hotel is beautiful, stylish rooms that feel open, big beds, wardrobes, nice comprehensive sauna area, beautifully decorated salon with a piano where breakfast is served. Hotel in excellent location, Goethe plaza - center.

Reception: I think the reception here should be the most expansive of all hotels I’ve stayed - so much love it. It gives a kinda ‘grand style’ welcome to you as you enter. Accessibility is quite good.

Room: The room I stayed was on the 4th floor - the lift was good in a gold-shinning pattern; making you feel like the King of Persia (🤣) - don’t take my word! Back to the room; it was a comfortable Queen size bed, fridge with complimentary water bottle, laundry/ironing facility.

Bathroom: nothing exceptional but as I would expect, it was clean, nice smelling and 2 wall mirrors. It also has hairdryer.

Parking 🅿️: The only disappointment I had here was the parking lot at the hotel; I was baffled I had to pay €21 per night. Most hotels offer complimentary free parking for their guests. I find this really disappointing.

We had a lovely stay at the hotel. We enjoyed the hotel and Weimar in general. We took a larger room, which was clean, spacious, comfortable, and well-equipped. The location is perfect and the staff extremely friendly and helpful. Exceptional breakfast. Great value.

We had a good sized with balcony and air conditioning which found the high temperature (30°+) quite challenging. Nevertheless it was welcome. There was a nice sitting space in the room which might have benefited from a little more light in the evening. Spacious bathroom, plenty of hot water. Staff all very friendly and helpful. Breakfast buffet excellent. Ideal situation for exploring Weimar. Very enjoyable week; impressed with Weimar!

A physically beautiful hotel in a perfect location in Weimar. The staff were very helpful and made good dinner recommendations. We liked it!

I basically write this review to complain that the fitness room is total crap, but except for that it was a nice stay. Not my style of deco but the comfort was there and the breakfast was delicious. If it had been two people in the room, it would‘ve lacked a space to comfortably open the second suitcase.
