A place to feel good – highly recommended!
Staying with friends 🤗
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Waldhotel Ehrental. The location is fantastic – absolutely quiet in the middle of the forest, ideal for switching off and relaxing. The entire team, from reception to service, was warm, professional, and attentive. I would particularly like to highlight the pleasant, family-friendly atmosphere in the hotel and the cleanliness of the rooms. Everything is very tastefully decorated 👍🏼The breakfast was very plentiful and everything was super fresh. The large dining room with a large outdoor terrace is absolutely perfect.
Right next to the hotel is a great bowling alley with four electronic lanes. A real highlight for anyone who appreciates nature and comfort. You can also start wonderful hikes from here. We will definitely be back!

Nice hotel in the midst of a wonderful green forest, Perfect For hiking, walking, nature lovers, walking with your dog. Rooms completely renovated around 2020, very clean and cared for. Great stay.

Great - very idyllic, newly renovated, small forest hotel with a beautiful bowling alley. The house is very comfortably furnished and the rooms are new and very clean. The Christmas dinner was very tasty. We were also able to get to know the boss. They are very loving and fulfill every wish. Great recommendation! We'll definitely be back. THANKS!

wir waren zwar nur einen Tag und das zu Weihnachten da, wurden aber perfekt betreut und umsorgt. und das in einem ganz toll neu umgebauten und renoviertem Hotel. Hier fehlt es einfach an nichts! das Ambiente, die Räumlichkeiten und Zimmer, das Personal- einfach perfekt. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

We made a wonderful autumn hike in the Ehrental near Schmalkalden.
My students give 999 stars in preparation and hospitality. Warm, nice, child-friendly ... awesome all the staff.
