We were here for lunch. I had the dark beer roast with dumplings and red cabbage. I liked the dumplings, the dark beer roast was too similar to a regular roast pork for my taste, but it was okay. However, the gravy was quite salty, and the red cabbage didn't impress me. It was too sweet and, presumably due to the cloves, too intense in flavor.
Oh, and the portion size was a bit small for the price of around €21. I would have liked a bit more red cabbage and slightly larger dumplings.
The service was friendly, but a little unusual. We didn't feel entirely comfortable.

We went there for lunch as a family on Boxing Day. The service was consistently very polite and attentive, and the ambiance and festive table decorations were lovely for the occasion.
Unfortunately, there were a few issues. A salad buffet was offered before the main course. We had barely gotten our salads when the main course was served, even though about half the guests hadn't finished theirs. This seemed a bit rushed.
I had the roast goose breast with dumplings and red cabbage. The food was very salty overall and the flavors were poorly balanced – basically, the salty sauce dominated. The red cabbage also lacked flavor. The pork medallions were similarly oversalted.
In addition, plates were cleared even when about half the food was still on them. This gave the impression that the table was being cleared as quickly as possible for the next guests, which seemed rather inappropriate on a holiday.
In summary: the service, ambiance, and table setting were very pleasant for Boxing Day. However, we unfortunately cannot recommend the food.

The hotel is ok. Our room was spacious but the floor quite dusty. If you need a place to sleep it is fine, but don't eat there. The food is awfull.

Very good hotel, staff super nice, only breakfast is a bit meager, staff member couldn't keep up, was there with 20 people. The area is very beautiful.

Lovingly run hotel, each room has its own style.
Breakfast was a bit meager, the service did not comply, we were there with a group. Otherwise we liked everything very much, would come again and again. Thanks for everything, again.

5 stars are far too few. I would give 10 stars if this were possible. We were there today after a long journey around 3:15 p.m. We got back expecting lunch. This was freshly prepared and not just warmed up. Kudos to the chef - the roast was a poem. The service staff was very friendly, nice and had great expertise. I can only recommend it to everyone to make a detour there.
