Reviews
Very attentive staff, especially George who is in charge of guest relations.
We had the garden sweet and loved it.
The hotel's beach is great and is located in a closed bay so the water is much warmer than other beaches in the area, in which even though it was August, the water was a bit cold.
As for the cons, the hotel is a bit overpriced, and so is the hotel's restaurant, and even though the staff is mostly very nice, it lacks some extras to make it a five-star resort. For example, there is a shortage of beach towels in the pool. Also,
the pool is super deep so it's impossible even for a tall grown person to stand in. The beach menu is limited and they don't offer the restaurant's menu which is basically on the beach, at the beach beds. But these are not major issues and the overall experience was great.
First thing that strikes you is the design, the impressive vegetation and how well thought is everything so as to create a relaxing atmosphere (from the setting of the rooms to the design of the bar, that of the pool and restaurants, etc). It is just an unexpected design jewel in Halkidiki.
Just as amazing: the quality of the services: impeccable staff and the food is highly qualitative (top ingredients you can serve to your kids without second thoughts; also very well prepared). Even the taverna restaurant has top dishes. And the service is top too - fast and always attentive to your and your kids needs.
Their attention to detail: they organize movie projections at night, have an adorable kids club with swings and playground for kids to climb, the beach is neat and there is always someone to serve you, and there is also an amazing spa where you can get a massage or a facial at decent amounts.
What is more, the water is perfect for families with kids:not too deep, with a very safe entrance - so you can play and supervise kids in the best conditions.
We rolled off the beach in wet clothes (me) and a towel (my boyfriend) and asked if they had a table, but that we had to go and change. They told us not to worry and sit wherever we liked, even on a lovely upholstered sofa! ..They didn't even mind my little dog running around meeting people!
This is quite a posh place (also very nice food!), and I never expected such a laid back fun attitude! I guess as they have people wandering in off the beach all the time, but still, lovely staff, well done guys!!

We came with a group of friends we came with a group of friends with two boats docked at their hotel pier and proceeded to have a lunch in a th Restaurant. We were "greeted" by the hostes/server Marina. Whistle group of people in the restaurant part it has to be seated there, she told us that it's closed we can only sit in the lounge area.
We proceeded to find a place in the lounge area, then Marina came to tell us that we cannot sit in such formation and we have to sit at two tables of six.
In a half empty restaurant... She entered into an argument with us instead of being a hospitable server and offering solution for the returning guests that are willing to enjoy and spend money at their facilities.
It was rather embarrassing because we were with friends from abroad, very quiet very decent and polite group of people what they CAN NOT DO !!! Instead they should have rather been hospitable and accommodating as expected from such facility.
We protested and finally we were ALLOWED to sit in the lounge area but not necessarily
in a lunch accommodating way.
While the other group still continued to dine in the restaurant with a soul explanation the day were there before!!!
Food was excellent, the rest of the servers were also very good, however, one expects much better level of service on all levels including management.
Nonetheless, we like to visit Ekies’ restaurant.
We are regular guests and we usually come with friends and family. Taverna Project menu provides light and tasty food options and we enjoy thick shades under the sun shade canopies.
However, we were deeply disappointed by appalling service by Marina during our last visit. She wanted to sit our party of 10 at a table for 6. When we refused and proceeded to sit on a set of 2 smaller tables under the tree top bar, she refused to serve us and was extremely impolite. We then asked her to find us seating for 10 people but she said that we can only sit at that table for 6 people. Luckily, Osia came to rescue and seated us where we wanted. Adonis served us further and everything was truly first class.
It is unimaginable to us that a 4-5* hotel employs someone so unprofessional like Marina. This was the second time she treated us like this. We thought the first time that Marina just had a bad day. But her behaviour yesterday convinced us otherwise. Treating guests who leave €350+ in a 1-hour visit in an arrogant and angry way can be detrimental for the hotel’s business and reputation and it’s just not cool and pleasant. We urge the management to deal with Marina appropriately and protect their business and their guests from angry tantrums of this employee.
- Beach is full of rocks and seagrass and small boats
- 30-40 sunbeds for 70+ rooms
- FULL of kids everywhere (which isn't bad but not for a couple)
- Restaurant food was not really good & Service was bad
- Getting thrown out of our room as it's overbooked for some reason
Very unlucky, Expected something else for 500 EUR per night.
- Room is nice at least and reception is kind
