One can always find a private place to relax, and the best, for me, was The Greek Experience. You have the chance to take part in a Greek themed activity such as Greek cookery, or local photography, meaning you're not in a resort hotel that could be anywhere in the world.
Next morning with so many calls and complains they changed our room in the afternoon.
All inclusive but food were so bad mostly repeated food every day with poor quality and no entertainment in thw hotel and gym so bad with only few mashines.
The only good things we enjoyed were the times we spent next to the pool had nice barbecues and stuff there and the bar stuff were all nice and friendly.
In the main restaurant there were insufficient waiters and it was chaotic when busy. The managers, Mr Surly and Mr Grumpy, rarely engaged with the customers and tables were rarely cleared until customers prompted staff. Queues formed at the bars as waiters couldn't cope. The app only works for booking the speciality restaurants. Entertainment in the evening appears sporadic as it is not on the app and not advertised. We enjoyed the starters in the Greek and fish speciality restaurants, but the main courses were disappointing and sea bream overcooked (the chef turned the fish over so we wouldn't see until too late). Overall not 5 star service for a 5 star resort. Very disappointing.
We thought we would treat ourselves to an all inclusive holiday after the pandemic and wish he hadn’t of bothered now!
DON’T be misled by the website… the photos make the hotel seem shiny new and high end but when you arrive it the complete opposite… we had to be asked to moved rooms and when we entered we got a sudden wave of mould smell and when we opened the wardrobe the back wall was covered in black mould. Initially reception just said they would send house keeping - that wasn’t good enough and asked to move rooms. Everything is just old.. the bathroom was dirty/rusty. There were stains on the upholstery and walls. It just wasn’t what we paid for! There quite clearly is a difference between the old and new part of the hotel complex. The hotel lacked atmosphere in the evenings and they needed more staff behind the bar.. we waited so long for a drink we gave up on the end and went to bed.
Nice relaxing holiday around the pool… definitely NOT! You can’t even read a book in peace without hearing overly loud explicit rap music blaring out of the speakers from a so called ‘lifeguard’ we asked if he could play some more relaxing music and to turn the rap off which he did for about half an hour until it was back again. It was so unbearable we couldn’t sit by the pool.
Food- not good enough! There is a lot to choose from but it all kind of tastes the same… by the end of the week it’s hard to eat! The hotel gives you two nights in the ‘higher’ end restaurants, yet it seems like exactly the same food as the main restaurant just in a nicer setting and on nicer plates. Mediocre at best… the food was never hot and seemed like it’s just been sitting under the hot plate for hours waiting to be served out.
Drinks were okay… most cocktails are from pre-made bottles! I would stick to neat alcohol and mixers.
Wouldn’t go back even if someone paid me!!
