Nireus Hotel in Symi

We were lucky enough to spend a few days in this gorgeous hotel with such an fabulous location. Right on the waterfront the views from our room were spectacular. Easy to walk to dozens of great restaurants along the quaint harbourfront. Truly a gem.

We stopped here for lunch as they had nice tables overlooking the harbour at the waters edge. We had a really good Margarita pizza and a nice beer. Nice location next tot he water and a bit of people watching. It was a good quality oven baked pizza with lots of flavour and cheese. The drinks and food came promptly but not much engagement or smiles from the waiting staff.

We had a fabulous stay at Nireus. The staff were very helpful and accommodating. The view from the balcony was stunning. The room was clean and in order as one would expect and well stocked. I look forward to returning to Nireus and the beautiful island of Symi. Thank you to the staff

Our stay at Nireus Hotel in Symi was absolutely wonderful. The location is simply perfect: right by the water, within easy walking distance to everything you could possibly want to see or do on the island. Waking up to those breathtaking views from our room was truly magical. The rooms have been completely renovated and although the hotel is more on the simple side, we loved every minute of our time there. It has a special charm and relaxed atmosphere that made us feel right at home. One of the highlights was being able to go for a swim each morning just steps from the front door — the crystal-clear water is right there! If you’re looking for the ideal base to enjoy the beauty of Symi without unnecessary frills, this is the place. We would absolutely come back.

Beautiful hotel in a wonderful setting. Stayed in a sea view room with spectacular views. Lovely little balcony just perfect for enjoying a glass of wine and people watching. Everything in the room you would require, very clean and plenty of towels. Staff were amazing, friendly and informative. Would definitely stay here again. Thank you for a great stay.

We spent a week over there and it has been a great experience.
The rooms are nice and terrasse & personnel very competent and friendly. I'll give 4/5 for rooms because the air conditioning doesn't go below 21C when you want full freshness (the island has almost no wind) and the windows do not close easily, always a pain and you hear this at rooms next door too.

We stayed at the Nireus hotel for 3 nights of our island hopping holiday. I would say it was one of the best hotels that we stayed in. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was newly updated with attention to detail and cleaned every day. And the location was breathtakingly beautiful. Will hopefully have the chance to go there again.

An outstanding hotel. Stay at this stunning hotel if you want to experience an authentic Greek vacation . It’s located in the heart of Symi , a walking distance of all shops and attractions. The views are breathtaking The rooms are spacious and clean. Excellent service , stragglers is more than willing to offer help with a constant smile on their face . Svesti Nikko the receptionists were more than helpful and they delightfully offered help whenever needed.

We had come to the hotel over 10 years ago and stayed in a back view room. When we booked we didn’t realise the fantastic view that the hotel had, so we vowed to come back some day and stay again in a sea view room. We stayed this time in a lovely room with a fantastic view out to sea. It was nice to come back and enjoy some chill time looking out or reading a book before dinner, or enjoying a drink when we returned. The rooms have massively improved since our last visit as there has been a refurbishment. They are now clean and contemporary and everything works. Questionable placement of the sink in the room, but nothing that would put me off staying again. Rooms were really clean and tidy and kept that way throughout the whole week. Staff are super friendly and helpful and have a wealth of information on the island and can point you in the right direction. The breakfast is good and you get to enjoy it looking across the beautiful views out to sea, watching the boats coming in and out. Would recommend and will stay again should we return to Symi.
