We visited Symi in June 2025 as part of a Jet2 package, which meant spending the first night in Rhodes before taking the ferry to Symi the following day. The island itself is stunning, but Pedi Beach is quite basic. Fantastic location, set back from the Harbour but just a few minutes walk, where you can get water taxis to all the main beaches and where there are lots of shops and tavernas.

Stayed for 6 nights and we loved our stay. The hotel is in a perfect location 2 minutes from the harbour, restaurants and taxi boats. Absolutely gorgeous hotel, with tastefully and meticulously decorated suites overlooking breath-taking views. Started out with a prompt pickup as we exited the ferry boat by the owner, Evangelia. (You just need to send her a message letting her know when you arrive.) We spent our honeymoon here and it was amazing! Everyone was very kind and the location is very nice, with nice restaurants walking distance, ceramic studio, animal farm and castle ruins nearby. Just came back from a week at the Hotel (Aug 2015) Good Clean Hotel. Staff very friendly. Good variety of food. Alcoholic drinks not great. Would have given it a 4 star rating if they had Air Conditioning in all the public areas not just the bedrooms. Crazy not to have AC in the Reception area. There’s a nice restaurant nearby, swimming pool with a bar and walking distance from the beach. Staff is friendly.

We stayed here for a week. It was fine for the price. Also there was beach next to it, but it was full of rocks so it hurt to walk in the ground barefoot and get out of the sea. There was also swimpool in the hotel. BUT minuspoints that the sheets were really badly stained. Also in the bathroom there crawled some kind of bugs on the floor from the sewer.

We stayed at Matoula Beach for a week in early October. Initially we were allocated a very small room. When we mentioned this to reception, we were transferred to a lovely spacious pool view room. The hotel and the room we were in are pretty old and outdated. The food is pretty boring, but the staff is Nice, pools are OK, and the area is great. I give 4 stars because it was a cheap booking and we did find some value for our money. Also the beach is great and clean. But they don't have enough beach beds, so you better get one early. Nice and clean and private. Location is near to everything. Surroundings are not so nice but that does not bother on the pool. Food and drinks are good. Overall service is good. Our room was 2nd floor and one of the smallest. Small kitchen but remember to bring your salt and soup. One bedroom and sofabed. Sofabed is too small to bigger children so consider bigger room.

The hotel room was SO lovely. We were so lucky and got upgraded from a balcony/terrace room to the room with the swimming pool in front of it (pools open from 8am-6.30pm.
