Do note that this property misrepresents their Meteora view - it is in fact a construction site view. The hotel is building a new wing right next to the existing block, so don’t bother paying extra for a Meteora view room. The decor in room is worn out; beds are hard; there are hair balls and dust in corners of room. There are better options elsewhere. In fact, we should have stayed at Kalabaka instead of Kastraki for more dining options.

The balcony view was stunning. The entire hotel was exquisitely decorated, resembling a castle, and featured a beautiful garden. In the mornings, the trees were filled with the chirping of birds, which was very charming. Unfortunately, during our stay, there was construction going on next door for a new building, starting at 7 AM. The drilling and hammering noises slightly disrupted the tranquil, pastoral atmosphere of the town. The breakfast was also good, all prepared by the hotel itself and quite tasty. Note that this hotel doesn't have an elevator; the beautiful balconies are all on the second floor. The staff at check-in were helpful in carrying our two large suitcases upstairs, but the staff at check-out refused to help, saying it wasn't their responsibility. We two women practically dragged our suitcases down like dead dogs. If you're elderly or frail, I wouldn't recommend this hotel. However, if you don't mind the lack of an elevator, this hotel is excellent. Overall, we were very satisfied.

Amazingly beautiful property within walking distance of tree he village center. Breakfast was great, and we loved the friendly staff.

Beautiful Location, Horrible Rooms.
The room was terrible. Beds are old and worn out. Sheets are rough as sand paper. AC barely works, (took all night to cool the room down by 1 degree). Electrical outlets are hanging from the walls ( looked hazardous to me) lights are so dim I could barely see anything (had to use our cell phone light to see while showering). Shower was awful, (too small to fit a normal size person into it). Drain on the floor just popped up and off. TV was the size of my laptop computer. (What a joke). Everything about the room was dark, old and outdated. Bottom line is the room was terrible . I can’t recommend these rooms to anyone….not even for 1 day.

The window opens to a beautiful mountain view with a small garden. The breakfast yogurt with honey is delicious. There are many varieties, most of which are freshly made. The chirping of insects and birds is very rustic. The faucets and shower facilities in the bathroom are old and need to be updated.

We did a 2 week trip through the Greek mainland & the islands. This hotel was a highlight of our travels. Amazing location, great atmosphere, and warm staff. The included breakfast was delicious and we looked forward to it every morning. The hotel is situated near the road that takes you up to the monasteries & back to center of the small village of Kastraki. There is plenty of parking on hotel grounds as well.

We were delighted to arrive at this beautifully appointed hotel. The staff were welcoming and efficient. The views were awe inspiring and the garden/patio areas just so lovely. Also our room was very clean and comfortable

The Hotel is in an amazing location, with a panoramic view to the Mountains and you have private parking of the hotel. The breakfast is a buffet style with jams and desserts made by the hotel. The spread is generous and the food is very good. The hotel room is very clean including the bathroom and the balcony is very cozy. Also, not to forget about the frendly and helpfull staff. 10/10
