Ela Mesa Luxury Apartments in Aegina Town

This is a great hotel for exploring Aegina in a lovely location as just a short walk down to the harbour where you’ll find a small beach, a bakery, a supermarket and a number of restaurants which we went to most of and didn’t have one bad meal.

We really loved that the hotel had a swimming pool as it was very hot and the whole place was kept very clean with our rooms being serviced daily.
Food was really good and Greek home cooked dishes were delicious.
Friendly staff and owners.
I also loved the plants, cactus’s and succulents throughout the hotel grounds.

Good location, friendly and helpful proprietor at the very end of the season. Excellent breakfast.

If Staying on aegina it's a most if you want a little more greek village vibe owner and Staff go above and beyond to help make your stay there wonderful reasonable price comes with breakfast eggs fruit breads meats cheeses perfect light breakfast it is a short walk into town maybe 5 min to souvala harbor where you can catch ferris to other islands or to main land and athens many restaurants bars bakery to die over walk in, and your in heaven pick up a desert or snack if your taking a ferry or stock up on a fee snacks for hotel though ela mesa has restaurant and bar poolside you real don't need to leave hotel if you didn't want to picture is from harbor just below the hotel

Beautiful property, excellent service and terrific food. The owners went above and beyond in helpfullness from arranging for onsite car rental, taxis, food...getting a room for our friends at another hotel since they were sold out....they were truly exceptional in flexibility and overall service. The hotel is a 10 minute car ride to Saint Nektarios monastery. Thank you for being wonderful hosts!

Really good hotel with lovely view and a clean pool. Relaxing atmosphere and nice staff.

We traveled there with no expectations regarding vegan options, but have been pleasantly surprised. The breakfast has a vegan label and a surprisingly good selection of vegan options.

We also really enjoyed lunch here several times, which has a vegetarian section on its menu. Most of the dishes there are also vegan or can easily be tweaked. Staff is very capable in English. You can easily ask about the food and it's ingredients.

Especially Emma has been very proactive in service, which enabled us to just relax by the pool.

I don't get the negative reviews about the owner. We felt very welcome. He gave us tips about the surroundings and ordered scooters for us. I experience him as quite friendly and supportive.

Our stay at Ela Mesa was absolutely fantastic! The staff was so helpful and friendly, and went out of their way to make our experience as comfortable as possible. The room looked even better than the pictures, and we had amazing view of Athens in the distance. The town of Souvala was calm and peaceful with a few restaurants with good and affordable food, and a small, friendly local population.
Highly recommend for your next vacation!

A fabulous traditional hotel - a hidden gem. We only did 3 nights as it was the second part of our Athens trip, but it certainly wasn't long enough. Tge hotel is very clean, and our suite was lovely overlooking one of the 2 pools. Everything is walking distance to the hotel (marina, shops, supermarket, beach, and church). The main port was a 10 min cab ride and €15. The hotel is everything you need, beautiful surroundings, peaceful and relaxing. Perfect finish to a wonderful family city holiday to Athens. Our 10 year old son absolutely loved every minute. My son played in the pool, which was lovely. The owners are wonderful and really helpful, they made ypu feel at home. Breakfast was superb, with a good choice, as was the coffee. We had lunch and dinner at the hotel every day and always had a beautiful homemade meal. We will be returning in May 2026 for a week. A fantastic famiy run hotel - beautiful location and wonderful staff and owners. Food was amazing. We stayed for 3 nights but wished we had stayed longer. Will return.

Great spot, quiet and close of everything. The owner helped us to rent a car, which was great. The Aegina Island is very beautiful, the view is spectacular. We went to Afaia Temple and the view was stunning. The roads are so so, but stit ok. Great Greek Taverns close too.

A well run hotel, the staff are very friendly with good communication. I needed help getting a taxi when I arrived in Aegina and they arranged one for me within 5 minutes.
The hotel is very clean and I loved the pool.
The breakfast is nice as well.
I can recommend this hotel and hope to come back.
