Mediterranean Resort Hotel in Paralia Katerinis

Arrived yesterday to a nice looking room.

Went out to dinner, which was very nice. Staff very nice and accommodating.

Then came back to my room to find 1000 ants crawling on my front door of my suite. There was no food around the door , so I have no idea why there were ants there in the first place..

After I opened and closed my door hundreds of ants flooded into my room. Spent 20 minutes, stopming on them.Called housekeeping who promptly brought insect repellent to solve the problem.- Thank You

Then woke up the next day. Walked out my front door and got pooped on by a bird.

Looked up to see a birds nest sitting right above the threshold of my door.

Went to the front desk and asked them to remove the nest.

Two hours later I go back to my room, opened the door (nest still there) and now there is a bird flying around my room!!! Scared the gell out of me and my wife.

Now I’m afraid to go back in my own room! Spending hours now, dealing with this instead of enjoying my vacation.

Staying in a villa suite, paying $950 a night

This hotel doesn’t deserve even 1 star!
Everything started from the moment we arrived. They were not ready and we had to wait almost 2 hours.
Then it was time for the first dinner.
Very very poor diversity of food and on half of it you have to guess what it is, because there was no description of the food or even the name of the dish. We were searching for the beverages and we asked the staff where is the water and they brought us one bottle of water and the bill for it!!!
The next day we went to breakfast and there were beverages and plenty of different dishes. But the dinner was the same again so we decided to ask what is going on. We were told that the manager decided that on the dinners is not going to be any beverages even water!

The bar was awful too. When I asked for ice for my beverage(bought from the bar) I was told that it was better for me to go and buy myself ice!! But if you want to bring your water to dinner there is a problem.

The pool(if I can even call it that) has stained me and my swimsuit yellow!!!

Now on top of all that the staff was stealing from the rooms!!!! We were missing 2 packs of cigarettes and it was smelling like someone was smoking in our room!!!! And they were searching through my cosmetics and makeup because every time we came home from the beach my makeup bag was open and out of order.

The gym equipment was very poor too. And there was mold all over the sealing!!!
