The Excelsior Small Luxury Hotels of the World in Thessaloniki

It was my first time staying here, and I was thrilled. The location is superb in the city center, the new classic building blends beautifully with modern furnishings and layout, the staff is very welcoming and attentive, the breakfast is generous, the rooms are clean and spacious... it will be my go-to place to stay in the city.

Great location, clean and relatively spacious rooms, super attentive staff. They went out of their way to make us comfortable, bringing us some farewell pastries, bottled water for the city, and so on. It was really nice. There's no on-site parking, but they do have access to a garage located a block away.

Gorgeous Hotel,beautiful interior design,historical building and perfect location to discover Thessaloniki. Staff was very welcoming- everyone. Particularly the fun warmhearted Elizabeth at the reception (thank you for your sweet Support for my travel vlogumentary Pax Drone Travel by the way) and Maria at breakfast who really understood great customer service! The quality of the breakfast was amazing! We got room 46 with a great gigantic terrace and view. The only tiny thing we didnt like was the mattress/box spring bed. Probably high quality but for us it was too wobbly and loose ...But apart from that,we had a perfect stay and we can recommend it 110%! Thank you for your hospitality! Enjoy

We didn't stay at the hotel but went for the New Year's Eve dinner. The food was simply fantastic, service was friendly and nicely paced across the evening and drinks were not overpriced. Highly recommended!

Very nice boutique hotel in a great location. Breakfast is very, very good. It is supposedly a five star hotel, but the gym is actually at the City Hotel in front of this property and I am not sure about the swimming pool.

My wife and I visited Thessaloniki this week, me for the first time.
After much research online I chose the Excelsior Hotel. I'm sure there are many wonderful hotels in Thessaloniki but after our stay here I wouldn't think of staying anywhere else.
The hotel was incredible in every respect. It is centrally located, beautifully decorated, extremely clean, provided all the amenities we needed and the breakfast was extraordinary in my opinion.
But most important to me was the service we received from the entire staff upon our arrival until our departure. I've stayed in hundreds of hotels during my career and have never experienced the level of service that we received at the Excelsior.
If I owned a hotel I would want people like Ελισάβετ and Γιάννη managing the front desk and taking care of my guests. They both were so very welcoming, friendly, accommodating, professional and competent. Thank you to all the staff but particularly to Ελισάβετ και Γιάννη.
We will definitely be staying at the Excelsior during our next visit to Thessaloniki.

Wonderful hotel in the heart of Thessaloniki, impeccable service, including valet parking, great for walking around, sofisticated and tasty breakfast. Go for it, you won't regret it.

The Excelsior Hotel is a trademark of quality and elegancy. I visited the hotel this week after some years and I found it even better. The location and the class of the building were all known values of the hotel i.e. monumental corner building with high ceiling rooms take you back in time besides being in the very heart of the city. Special thanks to Giannis and Elizabeth, they are doing a very vey good job. Thank you..

Visited April 2024 for business. Family business hotel that takes good care of their customers. Starting from a welcome note in the room accompanied by delicious chocolates. Friendly staff willing to help and assist in all. Tasty breakfast with "a la card" options, you will love it. Location also is very convenient. Overall a nice stay that deserves 5 stars.

I had a perfect stay at this amazing hotel. I was very happy with the service and the bed and the breakfast. Central location was a major plus.
