Hotel Zeus in Afitos

The hotel is small, clean and very friendly, the cleaners were brilliant. A small pool but perfect for the hotel, always a sunbed free. The location is great 3 minutes walk into the lovely village, loads of bars and great restaurants.

I really can't praise this little hotel enough, great location, nice rooms, good pool area (a sun trap in May, which is another plus) and of course, lovely staff. Highly recommend.

This was my first trip away on my own and the fabulous hotel and wonderful host Amelia made it such a great experience. Her friendly warm welcome put all my concerns away . The room I stayed in was everything and more . The extra little details were so thoughtful . Located so close to all amenities in the beautiful village of Afitos . The pool although small is perfect for a refreshing dip /swim. The sunbeds are comfortable and always available . The aircon is perfect and the self catering facilities are more than enough to prepare food etc I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Hotel Zeus and hoping to return although every time I try to book it’s always full so my tip is don’t hesitate book as soon as you know you are flying there N!

A wonderful hotel to stay in. Small, clean, and friendly. The staff couldn't do enough to help. Breakfast was lovely with enough for dinner, too. Foil provided to take anything you haven't eaten away for later. It's a good 15 - to 20-minute walk to the beach with 106 steps to go down and a hill. A second beach was slightly nearer from the hotel with fewer steps but a much steeper hill, but both are well worth the walk as beautiful.

Hotel Zeus is perfectly placed just a few minutes walk from the centre of Afitos. Lovely rooms, large balconies, cleaned daily, regular sheets and towels change by the lovely Nicoletta, the owners were very friendly and helpful, this is definitely one of the nicest hotels we’ve stayed at in Greece. The pool is a bit on the small size but perfectly fine for a quick dip, always plenty of free sunbeds any time of day. Air con was a very reasonable 5 euros a night and was very quiet and efficient, drinks at the pool were very reasonably priced too. Supermarket only a couple of minutes walk as was a very good bakery which sold lovely coffee and far too many beautiful cakes and pastries. Loads of restaurants and bars within 5 minutes walk and we never had a poor meal during the 14 nights we were there. Zeus Hotel is officially rated 2 star but the quality of the rooms, the cleanliness and the excellent service you get there justifies a much higher rating. This place is a little gem and we will definitely be returning in the future,

Just back from a fantasic 2 weeks at zeus hotel.Great location .Fantastic owner .Rooms were really nice ,comfortable bed,nice shower.Very clean with towels changed every other day .Went self catering so cant say what the breakfast was like.Would highly recommend .

After 1 hour , nice journey we arrived at hotel. Given a ground floor room by Amelia facing pool. Room 32 I think! Nice, very clean room . 200m from start of center. Breakfast plentiful served by Mikie albiet a bit repetitive but well worth it. Had the pool almost to ourselves for the 1st week. The second week pool shared with maybe 3 couples. Mythos beer 2.5 euros. Cheapest in resort and always served to you at the pool. Nicoletta was our room cleaner who was also like the other 2, very nice! Would we come back to Zeus, definitely! This would be for all the reasons stated.

Hotel Zeus was a wonderful stay,really enjoyed it, felt very welcome, we left phone behind and Amalia couldn't have been more helpful in returning to us, absolutely lovely and clean place to visit,great staff, nice breakfast, comfy beds, splendid pool. A & A
