This hotel is a gem! well located, silence rooms, excellent breakfast and bruch. The atmosphere of the Cafe invites you to stay there for hours. The staff is attentive and makes you feel comfortable at all times. A veeery special thanks to Efi :-)

Clean room, staff was extremely friendly. Perfectly located in Thessaloniki. So many great sites to see. And the breakfast was perfect fuel to start off the day. Hope to stay there again in the future!

We met a couple at breakfast here who told us that this was the fifth time that they had stayed at The Caravan. When asked why they kept coming back they said because "it feels like home". I think this perfectly sums up our experience here as well. We changed our reservation from another boutique hotel in the neighborhood after having breakfast here mainly because we were blown away by the exceptional way the staff treated the guests. We chose the larger family room which was definitely worth the extra 20 euro a night. The breakfast was realy good as well with gluten free options (as does the brunch menu). A special thank you to Timos and Katerina for all their help. The Caravan is one of the major reasons we would consider coming back to Thessaloniki, as it is feels they said, like coming home.

Retro decorated hotel nested in an old renovated building with a lot of character. Polite and attentive staff, they even gifted us coloured eggs, as the Greek Easter tradition goes. We found out that the neighbour of the hotel is rather hip and popular among travellers and young people and that the hotel became originally famous for its brunch. In fact the hotel owns a coffee house right across the narrow street, which was always full of people having brunch. With that said, there are also bars around, so if you prefer quiet places, it's not for you. Breakfast was good, but it didn't change, so it became a bit boring.The location was great, in a few steps you can get to the new metro and you can walk to the sea front. Only drawback is that there is not space for parking your car, we had to look around a bit, as the nearest parking space would close at 9! There is not even a dedicated place for short term parking to load suitcases in the car.

Excellent hotel, already visited before. It's not very spacious, and perhaps that's why you feel at home. Very friendly and efficient staff. Spacious rooms with 1950s decor—I don't know why, Andy Warhol comes to mind. Excellent breakfast.

Cozy atmosphere,opens spaces,vibrant colors, helpful and smiling staff,and the best brunch around. In the heart of Thessaloniki a fully equipped feel-good to make your stay more colorful and happy and not just a place to sleep. Will be back for sure! Their coffee is also 10/10 Mind you,I have visited Thessaloniki a gazillion of times and have stayed in every place,from a hostel to the most luxurious five star hotel.

ok... i wanted to visit the hotel cafe for a while because of all the positive reviews i had read and to try the brunch dishes.. it s AMAZING!! the atmosphere, the brunch choices, the service, everything! it s good if you want a bite, good if you want to study with friends or alone ( there s specific studying room downstairs which is more quiet ) and great if you want to hang out! right in the centre, 2 min from Venizelou metro stop and in a beautiful quaint street. the only negative ( for me ) is that it s on the pricey side... brunch dishes cost around 10 euros and coffee around 3.80.
