Balhambra Suites - Adults Only in Fiskardho

Beautiful room in a small complex around a quirky courtyard. Very quiet (in September at least) despite accessing almost directly onto the quayside restaurant strip. Very friendly and helpful owner. Some rooms are upstairs and there is no lift so that might be importantly to you but we had a great week here.

What a fantastic stay we had at this beautiful place. The room was large and well appointed. The whole Development is very tastefully put together. It was a stones throw away from the Harbour quey and right in the centre of the little town of Fishkado. Angelo (The Owner) and his son were very welcoming and super friendly, nothing was too much trouble and they even gave us mates and towels for use at the beach. Anybody going to Fishkado should do themselves a favour and definately stay here. Thankyou Angelo and hope to see you again.

Terrific staff, great location and value for money.

In the heart of the square- conveniently located to walk to restaurants, shops, harbor and a small beach- this small - but larger than most in the area - hotel offered European flair. The grounds are immaculate and there’s an extraordinary piece of driftwood in the courtyard. Friendly, warm proprietor - a lovely hotel for any traveler.

From the moment we arrived, it was clear we had chosen the right place to stay. The staff are very welcoming but not intrusive, and the rooms are high quality and very tastefully decorated. We had suite 113 with a large balcony and harbour view. There are an abundance of places to eat or drink on your doorstep as well as a mini market a few steps away. We were able to check in and drop our bags off outside and then move the car to the main car park, just a couple of minutes walk away. We visited Emplisi beach each day of our stay, which is gorgeous and just a few minutes drive away. We have already been recommending this place to our friends.

Just back from a wonderful week in Fiscardo, Kefalonia. We stayed at the Balhambra Suites, a small adult only block located at the heart of this beautiful resort. You really could not hope for a better location. The apartment was lovely, very clean, and serviced daily. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. Would not hesitate to recommend, and would definitely stay again.

Great location in Fiscardo Harbor
Balhambra Suites is located in a great location near the harbor, Tavernas,stores and shopping, The hotel is older but well maintained, Most rooms are on the second floor with no elevator, There are no screens on the windows or balcony doors. However the cost of the room and location makes up for a few minor negatives.

Excellent stay, helpful manager, beautiful accommodation, right in the centre of fiscardo steps away from all the action yet incredibly quiet.

My wife and I had an absolutely amazing stay at Balhambra Suites in Fiscardo in June 2024. We were only able to stay for 3 nights and wish we could have stayed much longer. We had a fabulously spacious suite overlooking the courtyard and therefore our sun terrace complete with rattan sun-loungers and chairs basked in sunshine for most of the day. The bed was really comfortable and the suite was beautifully furnished with a huge en-suite bathroom and superb shower. We loved it so much, we are already seriously considering booking the same suite for next year. The apartments are centrally located and have a feeling of exclusivity with the private courtyard and apartments separated from the quayside restaurants and bars with closed gates. The owner Angelo was extremely helpful offering tips on beaches to visit as well as lending us beach parasols, beach towels etc. We had a thoroughly wonderful stay.

This was our 2nd stay at Balhambra Suites, the location is amazing, close to the harbour and restaurants. Parking is close by as are amazing beaches and trails. This time we stayed in a loft suite which was spacious and decorated beautifully. We recieved a warm welcome on check in. This is becoming one of our favourite places to stay when visiting Cephalonia.
