Contessa in Argasi

I have to say I was very apprehensive before our holiday to Argassi,as a first time visit Greece. I must say what a great holiday my wife and I had. Made extra special by this fantastic hotel Contessa hotel. Firstly on arrival greated by very friendly polite and courteous reception staff. Looking around the hotel whilst being checked in, first impression spotless. On entering our room 325 spotlessly clean. Very comfortable bed great balcony looking out onto a great pool area.
The pool area and pool bar was great. Really friendly staff kept clean. Boy do those staff work hard. (Only little downfall was pool area lots of shade areas but no major problem). Overall Hotel Contessa spotlessly clean amazing staff all round, cleaning staff do an amazing job. Breakfast room and staff great. Food great a good selection for breakfast.
Well done hotel contessa give all yourselfs a pat on the back you do an amazing job and made our holiday fantastic 👏 😀.
Will definitely recommend to family and friends and anyone reading. 👌👍😉

Just returned from an excellent stay at Hotel Contessa, and our first time visiting Zakynthos.
We found all hotel staff to always be very welcoming, friendly and super helpful.
All facilities, including our room, were very clean and tidy.
Breakfast was excellent - so much choice and a wonderful view from the breakfast room across the bay! Loved the pool area, sun loungers, and snack bar, and can highly recommend the club sandwich 👌The guys running the bar were awesome, nothing was ever too much trouble 😀
Our package included the use of the fridge and we added on the safe and borrowed a kettle and cups for our room. A/C extra charge (as is the norm) but we never normally bother hiring this though there were a couple of nights it would have been a bit of a relief. The room was fairly small but fine really for the 2 of us and would likely upgrade next time to a pool-view room. Rooms cleaned daily & towels/linens every 2 days.
Also had a very handy communal shower room for later on changing pre-airport transfer after we had checked out in the morning (we were able to continue using the facilities until we left).
The hotel location was perfect for us. A short stroll to the main road and restaurants/bars, meeting many cats along the way.
All in all, brilliant time and would absolutely love to stay again. Thank you all at Contessa 😊

We had the absolute best stay at Contessa Hotel. It was our first time to Greece and Zankythos was the last island on our trip and it ended up being our favorite, with a huge part of that being due to this incredible hotel. The people that worked there could not have been friendlier to us! We got to know them on a first name basis and they would greet us every day with smiles (and drinks!) and made our stay so much fun. We loved hanging at the hotel bar every night and getting to know the other guests. Our room was modern and the perfect size for two people. Overall we had a 10/10 experience here and would definitely go back. Could not recommend more!

We are just back from another stay at Villa Contessa. We always have such a quiet and relaxing holiday there. All needs are catered for by the wonderful host Spiros. He booked our car hire and a taxi to the airport. Also little things like a bottle of water and some wine in the fridge for our arrival. With good restaurants and the beach a short walk away it suits us perfectly.

Lovely hotel — great location too!

Really enjoyed our stay. The hotel was spotlessly clean, staff were super friendly, and the sunbeds around the pool were really comfy. Honestly, it felt more like a 4-star than a 3-star!

The pool area and bar were immaculate and well looked after. The location was great too — loads of shops, bars and restaurants just outside the hotel, so everything you need is right on your doorstep. Only thing to mention is there are quite a few shaded spots around the pool, so in peak season it might be harder to grab a sunny lounger — but we had no problems in June.

Would definitely stay again.

We have had the most amazing time at Villa Contessa, and definitely will not forget the exceptional location and sunrise views from our suite. Spiros is an ideal host and was always willing to help with any of our requests. Highly recommended.

Lovely hotel, very clean. The hosts and staff are all lovely and friendly. It's my 3rd visit and I would come again.
