Manousis Aparthotel in Tsilivi-Planos

Our first impressions of Tsilivi Beach Hotel were great, the lady at reception who checked us in was lovely and very welcoming. We was lucky to have our rooms ready when we arrived at about 12:30pm which was way before our check in time which meant we didn’t have to wait around. The room was a decent size, and it was really clean. The beds in our room were very uncomfortable, the mattress was rock solid and you only have 1 flat pillow to lay on, so we had to use towels to put under the pillow. The pool area is lovely, the pink flowers along the balcony’s really add to the aesthetic of the hotel, however, we think this may be the reason the for number of flies and wasps which bother you all day. You couldn’t relax with a cocktail in the sun for this reason. The hotel overall is very well maintained and clean, and the staff are all happy. The pool is very cold, we managed to get into it, the sea is definitely warmer than the pool, but in October you wouldn’t expect it to be warm. The restaurant is nice, it’s a decent size and does have quite a good selection, but the food does get a bit repetitive by the end of the week but we always managed to find something to eat. The restaurant was also very clean. The location is great, lots of shops around the hotel and right on the beach. There is a lovely view point about 15 minutes walk out of the hotel to watch the sun set and has amazing views of Laganas and Turtle island, i definitely recommend the walk up there, just be aware it is relatively steep. We hired a car for a day from the lady who comes into the hotel which was also great and a decent price. Overall, we had a lovely stay in Tsilivi Beach resort, it was perfect for what we needed and it was definitely great value for money. I would recommend this hotel, and I would love to return.

Negatives , a failure to respond to my emails pre holiday. Positives loads of them. Ignore the doomsayers, this is a lovely hotel, arrived 3 days ago with my 14 year old son. Staff very friendly and welcoming, despite it being the end of the season. Food was tasty , nothing to write home about, but who does when your all inclusive, my room 429 was perfect for me and my son, lovely views over the pool and sea, I must add that I paid slightly higher for this room, but only around 70 pounds each for me and my son, for a 1 week stay. . Beach in literally on your doorstep. So pleased I went with my gut instinct when booking this hotel.

Our stay at the hotel was excellent! The place was always clean, and the food selection was very good. The staff was friendly and helpful throughout our stay. A special mention goes to the two animators, Sophie and Timi, who made our holiday truly unforgettable. The daytime activities with Timi, like aqua zumba, football darts, and other games, were always fun and well-organized she made sure everyone felt included and enjoyed themselves. Sophie has a fantastic singing voice, and together they hosted the evening shows in a lively and entertaining way. They both created a great atmosphere without ever being intrusive, and you could tell they put real thought and effort into their work. We had such a good time thanks to them they really made our stay special!

Very good location, food tasty and diverse but meats slighty oversalted sometimes. Everybody could find something good. Of course its not Michelin restaurant, but all these 1 star reviews are from snowflakes who hardly can afford chips in McDonald's. Rooms are cleaned daily as towels changed so. Staff very good(especially Angelo in the restaurant), carying and responsive.Margerita and Julia in the reception very nice and helpful. Overall very pleasant stay, despite the weather. Don't believe 1star.They are exaggerated!! Anna and Zibi

Just returned from a week staying at this hotel. The location was perfect close to everything. The hotel was clean and rooms were a good size. Staff were all lovely, but wouldn't hurt to smile a little more often. Food was hit and miss and never hot but we didn't starve and really enjoyed the cold buffet selection. Drinks were weak but plentiful. Entertainment wasn't the best but we went end of season so may be why. Pools were freezing cold so we always headed to the beach where the water was a lovely temperature with clear shallow waters. We hired a dune buggy and toured the Island which was great fun, 80 euros for 12hours which we thought was good value for money. Zante town itself was a little disappointing and we only stayed for a few hours. Shipwreck beach absolutely breathtaking we'll worth a visit. All in all we did have a lovely relaxing week. Would we return...probably not.

So we saw the 1 star reviews so we was not expecting the best. The location is excellent right on the beach and close to the town, also had a small car park which was handy as we hired a car for the week. The food was always hot edible not the best selection but always something acceptable and worst case the soup was brilliant. Drinks were fine and not watered down as some reviews say and become tipsy quite a few times. Entertainment was almost non existent but that didn't spoil it for us. The rooms were dated but clean and comfortable, had really good nights sleep. Sunbeds were plentiful unless you get the beach end you will need to move with the sun. Beach also had sunbeds and the sea was a lot warmer than the pool. Would we stay there again- No but please make your own mind up for the money we paid would not complain at all.
