Koukounaria Hotel & Suites in Alykes

The Koukiunaria Hotel and Suites was a great find in Alykes. It’s up a short track off the road and close to the sandy beach. It has a beautiful pool with ample sunbeds for all. The large pool is surrounded by well kept gardens and has a good pool bar serving drinks and food. You can relax here in a peaceful setting away from the noise and bustle from the road. The rooms are modern, clean and bright. We had a chic room which was more than adequate for our needs. We opted for Bed and Breakfast and were astounded at the amount of choice on offer, everything was so well presented. The staff were all very pleasant and helpful. We would definitely recommend this Hotel and would return in the future.

Hotel Me and my partner had the best time visiting the hotel. The staff were incredibly friendly, helpful and attentive. Our room was great, really clean and high spec with the most amazing views. The food was delicious, so much choice and great quality. All of the facilities were lovely, the pools were clean, well kept and great sizes, again with amazing views. Really close to the town and beach, only a 7 minute walk away maximum, with lots to do and places to eat but you hear no noise and feel totally private and remote due to the hotels location. Couldn’t recommend the hotel enough to anyone looking to visit the area. A special mention to Ruth at reception for being such a great help with all of our needs. Thank you!

Just back from a beautiful week with our daughter and son in law. Hotel very nice, excellent cleaning staff, towels changed every day almost, and rooms and beds attended to daily. We had two Chic Rooms, one had a large balcony, Pool view, mountains.but room was a bit small, room 118. Our daughters room 117 larger, small balcony and end of block, road view. The lovely Ruth on reception with her consistent smile made our holiday more appealing too each day. The breakfast set up is brilliant, offering everything you could possibly want, and all with good quality produce. Again the staff are outstanding and are a credit to this hotel. We ate lunchtimes too, with amazing Greek salads, pizzas and burgers, a special shout out to both girls who bought our lunches, unfortunately only got Roxannes name. Thank you again for a wonderful holiday. Alykes for eating out is very good, and just a stroll down neighbouring road.

Nice location close to the bach, approx 400m. We had “chic” room. Mini fridge in it (loud). Planty of spaces to hang your clothes but very limited cupboard. Air con worked but placed bad, since it went directly to the bed. And without room-key does not work, so expect hot rooms. At night (not hotel’s fault of course) so loud animals around, difficult for light sleepers. Walls are paper-thin, we had loud neighbours :( Parking provided. Staff is kind, speaks english. Pool is clean. Breakfast nice, you can eat next to the pool.

This was a lovely comfortable hotel, rooms ate basic, the pool was great. Good size; loads of beds. The breakfast was basic but …the lunch poolside restaurant has the best tasting food for lunch and great chef and great value for money. Evening food in other restaurant was very poor. Great staff all round - bar staff especially. Very happy, helpful and pleasant. Town and beach only 5mins walk - perfect little place….also Alykanas 20mins walk away

What a lovely comfortable hotel, set in stunning surroundings. Great location, with a short walk into Alykes town. Really well run hotel, spotlessly clean with large swimming pool and plenty of sun beds. However, its biggest asset is its people - a team of really warm and friendly individuals, who were always pleasant, helpful and often proactively looking out for the needs of their guests. Room was fine with regular changing of bedding linen and towels. The breakfasts were also a delight, with so much choice, be that sweet or savoury. We’ll be back!

This hotel was perfect for our family vacation. Everybody was so accommodating with our 1 year old and make us feel comfortable. The room was perfect, the views are incredible, and you’re within walking distance of the beach and all sorts of restaurant's.. specifically Heat Wave (our favorite place). Breakfast was spectacular and the receptionist Ruth, always had a smile on her face and answered all our questions. Highly recommend staying here! We will be back!

A truly peaceful and relaxing hotel. It's our second time here, and we totally recommend it. The staff are outstanding—always friendly, helpful, and ready to assist with a warm smile. The pool area is perfect for a relaxing day, whether you’re trying to beat the heat or simply want to enjoy your holiday book in a quiet atmosphere. Rooms are clean and well-maintained, with air conditioning and fresh towels provided daily. It’s a wonderful place for couples, but also ideal for families with children, as there are dedicated kids’ pools and shaded playgrounds. The beach is just a short 5-minute walk away, and along the way you’ll find convenient shops where you can pick up water, fruit, and other essentials. Near to the beach, around 5 minutes walk and on the road you can find shops where you can buy water, fruits etc. Many restaurants nearby, only 5 minutes walk (or you can eat at the hotel restaurant)

Just had the most amazing week in this hotel.
Slight issue with the air-con on the first day but sorted on the second day. We arrived too late to get it sorted out on the day of our arrival.
The staff were very friendly and help full.
We only booked on Bed & Breakfast but we did have a couple of evening meals in the restaurant. Food was excellent and not expensive.
Location - just a short walk down to the crossroads where you can find really good restaurants (Relax & Fidelio) and a stop of at the Iris bar for a nightcap on your way back.
Just 10 minutes from the beach.
Would stay here again.
