Pantokrator Hotel in Barbati

Great value for money. The view from our room was amazing. It is a bit of a walk up to it but there is a shuttle available. If you’re a walker it’s not a problem.

Had an amazing holiday, staff very attentive, beautiful location! Would heartily recommend, with one small note, I would not recommend this for someone with mobility issues, lots of steps and hills.

We were here for the day ( because our Villa checkout was at 10 am and our flight wasn’t until 10 past midnight! ) I booked a room to keep our luggage in and to shower and change after spending the day using the hotel facilities. ( There are luggage storage facilities, and a shower room available free of charge but as the shower room was by the restaurant it became unavailable at 6 pm) We all arrived by 10:30 and settled by the pool and were informed our room was available at 11:00 (normal check-in is 4 pm) and were transported with our luggage to the room. Many thanks to Alexandria for making our last day in Barbati so stress free and the friendly pool bar staff for keeping us “ fed & watered” ! The views for the hotel are spectacular as is the hotel itself and we could not believe this to be only 3 star! ( we’ve stayed in much inferior 4 star establishments) THANK YOU ❤️

Just arrived back from an amazing week at the Pantokrator. Nothing but praise for this lovely hotel. Views stunning, room great, food delicious and staff so friendly. Shout out to Manos and the pool bar. Service excellent. Booked already for next year.

Brilliant holiday the staff were helpful and friendly. We stayed half board and the food was great Whilst this is built on a hillside about 1km from the beach a regular free shuttle was provided. Where this shuttle drops you off was right at the bus shelter and a regular good service by bus was in to Corfu town at €2 The pool and bar was of a very good size

We had an amazing stay at Pantokrator Hotel. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made us feel right at home. The views are absolutely stunning, especially from the spacious rooftop terrace. Our room was spotless with a large bathroom, comfortable bed, and everything we needed for a relaxing holiday. Breakfast was varied and delicious each morning. Because the hotel is located on a steep hill, having a car is very useful, not only for getting to the hotel easily, but also to explore the beautiful island of Corfu. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a clean, comfortable hotel with great service and unforgettable views.

We thoroughly enjoyed our week here. We had booked a basic room but were lucky enough to be given a large family room. It was spacious, comfortable and kept very clean by daily maid service. Air con worked well and you don’t have to pay extra for it unlike many other hotels in Greece. There were a lot of steps, we coped fine with them. They did become a challenge on the last two days after I had hurt my foot though. The pool area is beautiful and all the guests are respectful and friendly. There are lots of places to sit with good options for shade or sunshine. My son enjoyed playing ball games with other kids there of various nationalities. The pool bar was great for coffees, ice creams and reasonably priced lunches. The pool is very cold, even though it was the beginning of August. All of the staff were very helpful and friendly - you really felt well looked after. The food was good quality and a wide range, especially at breakfast. Unfortunately we were there at wasp season so could only sit indoors when eating. We did however enjoy sitting on the balcony for an after dinner drink from the bar upstairs and enjoy the stunning views. There is a mini market just below the hotel and you can catch the bus to Corfu town at the bottom of the road. The beach was good for snorkelling, make sure you bring beach shoes. Overall it was a relaxing holiday with beautiful views.

The Pantokrator Hotel is a no-frills, good quality hotel with spectacular views and provides everything you need for a relaxing and enjoyable holiday. Our rooms had air conditioning, a fridge to store drinks, comfortable beds and basic shower rooms - everything worked fine with no issues. Each room had a small balcony with a stunning sea view. The hotel is exceptionally clean and well maintained with a lovely pool area. There were lots of different types of sun loungers for relaxing, with a large swimming pool and smaller paddling pool. There is a large restaurant with outdoor terrace and pool side snack bar selling food and drink at reasonable prices. There is also a small gym for the holiday fitness fanatic, which is quite well equipped. We stayed half board and the food at breakfast and in the evening was plentiful, fresh with a good variety of choices. The hotel provides free WiFi which worked fine both in our rooms and around the pool. The hotel is perched on the side of a mountain and the rooms are laid out in a series of terraces above the main reception and restaurant building. You need to be prepared to walk up lots of steps or steep slopes to get to your room, so the hotel is not suitable for those with mobility issues. There is a free shuttle service which will take you between your room and the main road but we didn’t bother with this. All in all we had a lovely stay at the hotel, the staff are great and provided excellent service - 5 stars.
