Sun Residence in Polykhrono

Excellent hotel right in the centre of Polychrono. Very lovely staff always polite with a smile, excellent gym and delicious breakfast, comfortable room and they even had weighing scales in the room!!! Cannot fault this hotel in any way.

I have been to Greece and the Islands at least 20 times. I can honestly say that this hotel and area is amazing. The beds are so comfy and proper hotel pillows. There was no issue with noise, and we were right by the restaurant *room 105. The balcony was spacious and we enjoyed a bottle of prosecco each night people watching! I would recommend the bar Kudo, left of the hotel, to watch the sun set. The breakfast was just amazing, and I am so fussy with food! We had a meal at the hotel on our last night, which was delicious. Opposite is Champions, which do the best gyros for €4.70. I can't leave this review without mentioning Terri. He is an absolute legend in my eyes, cannot do enough for you and an absolute asset to the hotel. The only things I would point out, but not a complaint, as this is not self catering, the fridge is small so a rotation system for drinks is required! Also ensure you book a side Seaview room.

Our second time at Sea Level. Also stayed on July 2023. Rooms are wonderful, clean, comfortable. Breakfast is to die for. Beach is perfect, right there. You don’t have to go anywhere. In 2023 beach chairs were free, with purchase or food/drinks. Nice, plush and super comfy. July 2025 chairs were €20 for the pair, plus umbrella with first drink order included. But chairs were new, no cushioning, not comfortable. Still paid for the convenience but miss the old chairs which were more on par with what the beach bars offer. One recommendation would be for signs to go up around the hotel beach area. Our last day there were folks trying to set up their umbrellas. Poor guy working the beach for the hotel had to deal with so much while trying to tell people they can’t set up their chairs there. Some signage would make his life so much easier and no one can really question anything. Other than that, as with our first time, highly recommend.

Pros. Great location and really high standards of finish and service from staff especially the beach service from Terri! Cons. Architect failed to include noise insulation between floors/rooms meaning chairs dragging and other sounds will disturb sleep in morning! Wi-Fi on some floors is poor/ non existent. Tips. 1: Get sea view rooms or expect noise from street/ gyros shops etc. 2: Avoid 104 as above kitchens so preparing noise very early morning 5:30 and late clean up after midnight! 3: Tip staff as they work incredibly hard

Beautiful location, great breakfast.
Rooms well appointed but beware of selecting the room type. Anything other than a sea view room doesn't have a view. We booked a standard room and placed in premium room which was on the ground floor on the street side (no view, noisy). I was told it had a side sea view, but there was no view at all. We asked to change rooms but the manager was not contactable with reception having no backup person to reach. The next morning again the manager was nowhere to be found, and only upon our insistence was the reception able to track her down on the phone. We upgraded for an extra EUR 90 per day to a sea view room which was a huge improvement. The manager did not bother to reach out despite our specific request to speak in person. Also be aware that the photos are misleading. The beach area with loungers and umbrellas are not part of the hotel and are not free for guests to use. The hotel has an arrangement with the provider to rent them to you at EUR20 per day (2 loungers, 1 umbrella) - disappointing.

What a fabulous Hotel this is, from the location, to all the best staff you could wish for, from reception, cleaning ladies, all helpful and friendly people. We did upgrade to a jacuzzi suite and this suited my husband and I perfectly, we would book one of these again when we return. One thing I didn't quite agree with, if you stay at this hotel the sunbeds on the beach should be free, they cost 20 euros, include towels a drink of coffee or tea and an umbrella, if we hadn't got our own sun loungers on our terrace this could have been expensive for 14 nights, this is the only downfall. Breakfast is perfect, food delicious at the Amforo restaurant, had a lovely birthday celebration. All in all one of our most memorable relaxing holidays ever. thankyou to all at Sea Level Hotel.

Kiera and the front desk team were amazing and welcoming. The server in the restaurant during breakfast was running around crazy but always had a smile and so kind. The managers made us feel so welcomed. Location was perfect.

Stay in Late August/Early September 2024 Room: We stayed in Room 206, a Superior room with a side sea view. The room was spacious, essentially a standard room with an additional sofa bed. However, the side sea view was hardly worth mentioning. Storage space in the wardrobe and bathroom was very limited. One particularly annoying aspect was the safe's location at the bottom of the wardrobe, requiring us to kneel every time we needed to use it, which was very inconvenient. Complimentary fruit, coffee, tea, and one bottle of water were provided, but refills were not included. The fridge worked well, but the freezer compartment was broken. The small terrace was pleasant. Overall, everything was clean, well-maintained, and in good condition. The cleaning staff did an excellent job. Breakfast: The breakfast was outstanding. There was a wide selection, including freshly squeezed orange juice, and the quality was excellent, except for the coffee from the machine. The lady overseeing breakfast did an excellent job—everything was replenished immediately, and she was very attentive. The rest of the breakfast staff was also efficient, clearing tables quickly and keeping them clean. Restaurant & Bar: No complaints here. The food quality was high, with a range of international dishes and local Greek specialties. Prices were reasonable, and the service was impeccable. The bar was well-stocked and capable of making any desired cocktail. Beach: The hotel's private beach was admittedly small and often crowded, but it was very well managed by Terry, who attended to every request promptly, politely, and efficiently. He even brought drinks and snacks to the beach. Service: Maria from the booking department was incredibly helpful when we considered extending our stay. The reception staff organized taxis and arranged our return trip, making everything smooth and convenient. Conclusion: The hotel has several strong points—particularly the friendly staff, the excellent location, and the overall quality of its offerings. However, noise and odors from the surrounding area were noticeable drawbacks. Additionally, the loud music from the hotel's own bar was disruptive. Overall, I would rate the hotel 4.5 out of 5 stars.
