Situated overlooking the port beach, Liostasi is both outside the town of Chora and a surprisingly short walk up some gentle steps to a magical old town of shops, restaurants and bars with one euro shots of ouzo

We received a tour of the premises and a welcome drink before relaxing by the pool before check-in. The staff were friendly and extremely helpful, ensuring we had a relaxed and enjoyable experience

Our room overlooking the pool had linen sheets and perhaps the most comfortable bed and pillows we’ve encountered

From check‑in to check‑out, every team member went above and beyond to make our stay feel exceptional. Friendly, professional, attentive — it was a first‑class experience in every sense of the phrase

The staff were absolutely lovely and friendly, very approachable always greets you with a lovely smile, very helpful and always willing to ensure you are enjoying your stay without being intrusive

The restaurant, Grandma’s, while on the pricier side, was no doubt one of the best meals we’ve ever had in Greece, period. Highly recommend the Orzo shrimp pasha dish - that was a standout

Breakfast was excellent offering several options to choose from. This hotel is located on the best beach in Ios and 5-10 minute drive to main town. You will have excellent views from your balcony

Where should I start I don’t know. View amazing, room service amazing, breakfast one of a kind. We stayed in their new suites and the experience was so nice that we spend a whole day only in the hotel

We didn’t get to use the spa on property as our stay was short. There were two choices of pools, a bar and a beach with water sports right below hotel

It still had a great view but was filled with such a stench of sewage that it should have been sealed off with police tape

Breakfast was good, location perfect (close to the beach, close to the port) and the pool was great. We had a noisy group next door but our hostess gave the boys a good talk and next night was quiet

The owners are the kindest people and made us feel so welcomed! The location is so perfect with the pool and the beach right on your front door. Was super clean and we loved our stay!

It is a beautiful property, steps away from the beach with stunning views. Rooms are clean and the hosts (Lambros, Nikki, Katerina) are wonderful. They were very responsive, helpful and friendly

Fabulous place! Absolutely beautiful grounds, rooms are simple but tasteful and Katerina & Lambros (don't forget Nicky!) totally epitomise Greek hospitality, it's like staying with friends! Add to that the great value, perfect location and you have a total winner!!! Can't wait to go back!

An amazing, peaceful, beautiful spot. Close to the port and across the road from the beach. The rooms are simple but clean, and the view from my balcony was amazing.

A bus stop is conveniently located right outside the hotel (€2 per person), but we often walked - it's just a 10 minutes to the beach and 15 minutes to town. We would absolutely return and highly recommend this hotel

Our private pool room was peaceful and relaxing, so we didn’t spend time around the main pool and can’t comment on that area. The food and drinks were excellent, and the service was consistently outstanding

They really cannot do enough for you. Breakfast is plentiful and the staff will do all they can to meet your dietary needs and requirements. Pool bar offers a good menu of fresh, meals and portions are big

Absolutely stunning place! And so affordable, breakfast delicious, staff friendly as ever, and I also loved that they keep the standards very high. It’s a very luxury experience for a fraction of the cost

The hotel went above and beyond, even arranging breakfast and lunch delivered to our room on the big day, which made everything feel extra special

ios palace is a few steps below which is much more expensive, but truly, the vibe at Levantes is far superior in my personal opinion

We were thankfully allowed to check in at 9:00 a. The hotel has no beach chairs but we were able to borrow 2 sun umbrellas on request. The hotel complex is very nice, many different plants & a few palm trees

Great hotel in a great location. Only a few minutes to the beach and it’s easy to reach the city by bus (comes every 15 minutes). There is a friendly and familiar atmosphere

Marcos beach hotel is a wonderful hotel located near the beach and with very good facilities. There was a good quality of breakfast and the room was very clean

From the room there is a wonderful sea view of the whole sea from the beginning to the end of the bay that we enjoyed from the balcony of our room

Location and view were great. The hotel was Just a few meters from Mylopotas Beach! Owner and Stuff were very helpful and kind. The room very clean. Breakfast needs improvement.

Satisfying hotel but I would highly recommend to rent an apartment in Chora. The Port isn't the best location possible

The family that is running the hotel was extremely friendly and helpful with everything, fantastic view and nice rooms. The bathroom was quite small though.

The hotel pool has loungers and is very well looked after but we enjoyed taking the local bus at the harbour to Mylopotas where there is a great beach with good restaurants - it's an hourly service for 2 euros

Just returned from 6 nights here and this is the best hotel I have ever stayed at! So calm and relaxed, the pool area is lovely, the rooms are super clean - cleaned every day too by lovely maids

Location is really great with restaurants and the port! We loved the swimming pool! Great vacation vibe on a island!

Breakfast was delicious & we had room service once which was great, and ate in the restaurant once - both delicious! All staff were welcoming and went above and beyond for us! Highly recommend!

We have just returned from a super holiday on Ios where we stayed at the Relux Hotel. The hotel is only a very short walk from where the ferry arrives from Santorini

The next morning she welcomed us and guide us about good breakfast, nice beaches and parties. We were surprised about her organization

Stayed 1 night at the Acteon hotel. Rooms are ok standard, but paper thin doors so you basically here everything going on. Nice view over the port and 10 steps from the bus to chora/mylopotas beach

Nevertheless, we were happy with the room and we were only a five minute walk from the port beach. The main town of Chora is only a short bus ride away (€1,60 per trip) and the bus stop is right outside the hotel

Especially cause I forgot my makeup trousse in a restaurant the last night there (terrible for a girl, more for the sentimental value being that it is a gift), as soon as I called her she immediately went there to take it

It was our first holiday as a couple after five years. To be sure we booked to The Acteon cause our ferry arrived at 1am. When we contacted the Lady to arrange how to get in the room she has been very kind and available

I mean, we are 19 and 22, so you can imagine how we are disorganized and caotic, but we lived in there peacefully and confortably. I felt that We paid the right amount for four nights in a well maintained room

Overall feels like your own holiday house. Very clean and well kept! Very kind and welcoming hosts. Great service with nice tips for restaurants. It’s directly at the beach, you only have to cross one road

Petra Holiday was likely our best value-for-money hotel in the Cyclades. The apartments offer lovely shady terraces, the rooms are nice, with sea view, and it's super calm. The staff (Lisa) is super friendly and helpful

Everything about it was incredible- the room and veranda (clean, cool, amazing views), the location (right next to a quiet local beach, and short walk to the port), the breakfast (especially the fruit and yogurt), and most of all, the hospitality

Very functional, very clean with a lovely Veranda with a sea view- Ionna, Nico & Philip were very welcoming and friendly providing us with lots of recommendations of things to do during our stay- thank you- we can’t wait to return :) P

Beach is on the doorstep and very safe for swimming. Local restaurants were excellent. There is bus connection to village and other beaches. Sunsets can be viewed from many locations

Big cheap buckets of chips but the pool or a missive plate of nachos. The hotel is 1/2 minutes away from where the ferry drops you, which is also where the shops and restaurants are

Staff are so friendly, service is great and the cocktails in the pool, is what you come for

Lovely place to stay in ios, close to the port and to the village. Staff are all friendly and it has a lovely pool and bar. Main draw back is the room was small, dirty when we went in first and a lack of clean towels.

I don't understand all these low reviews. Yes the rooms aren't fancy and modern but they are clean, comfortable and authentic. Perfect size, temperature and dynamic of adults mainly. Simple, but exactly what you want

Really Wonderful Hotel, located near to the Sea and Beautiful beach. Excellent food and creative Buffets. Superb service

We had food and drink in the restaurant. The outdoor seating area is beautiful with lovely sections of seating mixed with wonderful plants

Bus service is good, need to visit Chora. Car hire for a day or 2 to see some lovely beaches

Our friends stayed in this hotel while we were in another one nearby. The staff was super friendly and the atmosphere was really welcoming. I had the best greak salad in Ios and we really liked the pizza

Room was perfect, food for breakfast really good, pizzas amazing. Restaurant serving lovely food. Quiet, peaceful and relaxing with excellent staff. Been twice now and will visit again

It is not spacy but everything is carefully selected so to bewtifull and useful. Breakfast is hand made by Mrs Katerina and again presented in a very lovely way

Location, location, location! It is perched on the rocks overlooking the sea at the leftmost side of Mylopotas beach

Looking out the window you think you are in the sea, it is that close! Our room was on the smaller size, but it was super clean and quite comfortable. Price of the rooms for what was offered was unbelievably good

All bedrooms had amazing sea views, the beds were super comfortable, and it was very clean

The hospitality of the owner and the staff was amazing. Bonus: right under the hotel there is the best fish tavern we have ever visited, "Drakos", make sure you have dinner there around sunset time, you won't regret it

The breakfast was fresh and delicious (large variety for each person's tastes) and each day Lola made a gourmet "surprise" and her incredible homemade marmelade options were a big hit for all of us

A total joy as she greeted us with warmth and deep caring each morning. And Stellios was equally a 'super' host as we were always asking questions and looking for recommendations

Waking up each day to the view of Mylopotas beach and Aegean Sea was perfect

The hotel is midway between Chora and the beach but be sure to get the bus back from the beach as it’s quite a steep walk especially in the heat. Hope to see you all again soon I can’t wait to return !!

Located a short walk down to the beach or up to the Chora it is perfect

The pool area looks out across the beautiful bay and is great to just sit and enjoy or on the terrace where the friendly team of Tassos and Athina serve drinks with a smile

Very friendly staff and all speak very good English, no miscommunication possible , the rooms are nice and clean , it’s also very close to the beach and port
