Where to stay with kids in Ios

They were rude and bossy from the beginning. There is actually fee for everything you do in this place. Sit by pool fee, sit by the beach a fee they provide no towels so you gotta bring or purchase your own

If you want to use the pool a fee, beach a fee the gym a fee laundry a fee food a fee

Good location and good rooms. Staff not very helpful

We called the reception and they told us the room service didn't find anything even if we knew for sure it was there, so it means the room service stole it and the receptionist tried to cover it

This island is known as the party island of the islands. This was first time staying here in the far-out hotel. They say you get what you pay for. In this case it is very accurate

The only good thing is there is a public bus in front of the place that takes you into town. Otherwise, if they were smart they would include the extra fees in the price

Despite how lovely everything else was my favorite part of this hotel was the staff. The woman at reception, who I (unfortunately) cannot remember the name of, was warm, welcoming, well spoken, and sweet

The Liostasi Hotel was nothing short of incredible! They picked us up from the port with a complimentary transfer to bring us to the hotel

Had an excellent stay. Staff were extremely attentive and friendly. Hotel itself is lovely.

My ferry was cancelled due to high winds and the Liostasi staff upgraded my room to a suite for free. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of options, the pool/common area were beautiful with a bar and great view

We didn't get to use the pool as it was already chilly but the area looked amazing! The views from our terrace - to the port and the water - were incredible!!! Rooms on a smaller side, so if you like more spaciousness, choose a suite

Very nice place . The only problem is the pool closes way too early we start getting warned at 6:30 that the pool closes at 7 and it would be great to enjoy it while there still sun. At least until 8 pm

Having got that out of the way, our stay in the Ios Palace was thoroughly enjoyable with its great pools, wonderful staff, and proximity to Milopotas Beach. Just be careful about the room

It is really on the beach, so walk down from pool to beach is very convenient. The pool is beautiful with good chill music all day. the breakfast is included and very good

We all had a wonderful time at IOS Palace. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. There was nothing that the staff wasn’t eager to help us with. An Amazing place to stay!

The overall stay at Ios Palace Hotel was very pleasant, the location is outstanding, the rooms are very clean and comfortable, of course the view was phenomenal! Also the breakfasts had a large selection as well as great taste! What could generally have been better was definitely solving the issue with the toilet smell, it was truly unpleasant and constantly present throughout the day in the pool...

the bad smell from the pool area caused by sewage is happening sometimes. the rooms are quite small and the floors looks a bit old. Over all the place is very nice

Everything was great except for the bad odours that came around the pool and in our room the first two days

The staff were very friendly and helpful the breakfast was incredible and the pool and pool area is amazing. Very close to the Fery terminal,Bus station, Hire car and shops and Restaurants at your doorstep

Great staff. Walking distance to the port and into the town of Chora. Also a bus stop nearby to take you to town and beaches. Grocery store nearby as are restaurants and cafes.

Just returned from 6 nights here and this is the best hotel I have ever stayed at! So calm and relaxed, the pool area is lovely, the rooms are super clean - cleaned every day too by lovely maids

A gorgeous Boutique Hotel above Mylopotas Beach This gorgeous little 40 room hotel situated above Mylopotas Beach hits the sweet spot! Well designed, comfortable room and bathroom, very comfortable bed and with a wonderful verandah overlooking the beach

The location is amazing! The beach and restaurants are at your door step. Good vibes and 24/7 reception which was helpful for me. Had an amazing time here! Would definitely stay there again !

Staff were a highlight, amazingly friendly and attentive. Great breakfast! It's an easy 10 minute stroll downhill to the beach or an easy 20 minute walk into town

A beautiful family run hotel a few minutes walk to the beach, resturants, plaza at the harbour and the bus. Gorgeous pool and lounges, excellent breakfast

The hotel is run by the loveliest family – Dimitris and Sofia were incredible hosts. They looked after us so well, always there to help with any questions about the hotel or give us great advice about the island

The pool area was also brilliant – plenty of comfortable loungers for everyone, all in great condition, and a large, clean pool that was perfect for relaxing

The hotel itself has a lovely pool, perfect for relaxing after a day in the sun. The only small downside was that the mattresses were a bit firm for our taste, and the douche is a little bit tiny

We do not consider Nicki & Lisa as hoteliers but as good friends and every time we go back to Ios it is to our Greek home and to meet up with our 'extended family'. September 2026 cannot come soon enough

In the 80's the guests were all under 30 but what was significant was that it was like the 'United Nations ' with young people from all over the world having a fantastic time in each others company

About our 10th stay at The Argeon Hotel and already booked for 2026. It is a great family run hotel and Nikos, Kostas and Giannis make you feel part of the family

This was probably our 10th time at the Aegeon so you could say we like it. Nikos and all of the family make us so welcome and are considered as friends. Nothing is too much trouble and it was lovely to see everyone again

Great family run Hotel right at Mylopotas beach. We have been coming back to this hotel every year for five years. Nikos and his family are great hosts

They offered us transportation around the island for a very good price which made getting round the island super easy! We loved the room here, cleaner came in every day, lovely quiet pool, and a bar onsite! Private balcony, private bathroom, and an amazing sized room! Couldn’t have been happier here and will definitely be choosing Aegeon Hotel again next time :))

I stayed in Aegeon hotel in August for one week. I can't recommend it enough! Nikos and his family made us feel like home. Always very helpful and responsive. The hotel was very clean and comfortable

There was a bar and the owner and his sons were always kind and helpful. The collection and drop off to the port in the hotel van was a really good service. Family 2 adults, 5 year old and a baby

It's a hostel, so expect basic. Beds comfortable enough, clean, showers work. Pool and bar have a comfortable vibe. Located near supermarkets and restaurants/ cafes

We chose Sunrise Hotel for our stay in Ios last year. The room was very clean throughout our stay. The personnel was very helpful. The location is excellent, since it's located only just 2 minutes from the centre of Ios

They have a van which transfered us from and to the port

The location although is at the very top of the hill, it was worth it as its located right next to chora. Overall id highly recommend this hotel

Bar area with beautiful pool every now and then they came back early from the sea and we used the pool always ventilated it was divine. The staff then fantastic, kind and friendly girls work there

The hotel is midway between Chora and the beach but be sure to get the bus back from the beach as it’s quite a steep walk especially in the heat. Hope to see you all again soon I can’t wait to return !!

The Hotel is totally at the center of everything,supermarkets,Bars,bakery and Restaurants. And It is just in front of Chora. The pool is spaceful,clean and warm. The Bar and the food services at the pool are top

We hired sun beds here for the day for £5 euro. Lovely pool area, beds, hammocks, drinks and food , very reasonable prices. Salvatore the owner and a lovely Greek lady waited on us and we’re so friendly and hospital

We spent a mix of our time at the beaches around and the pool at the hotel and we never wanted to leave. Definitely the most relaxing holiday we've ever had. I would highly recommend this place to anyone

Excellent hotel in the heart of Ios. We had a wonderful stay last August. Beautiful clean rooms 2 minutes away from Chora. Our room had a breathtaking view perfect for a relaxed afternoon with a book

We had an incredible stay at Skala, and even though the steep hill to get home, it was worth the amazing view on the Chora. Plus, you can see the stars from the room at night

The quietness of the place makes your night restful as it can be. Breakfast was great and the pickup/ drop off at the port was smoothly handled by the hotel (extra cost)

The staff was lovely and the location offers stunning sunsets. To improve: wifi connection, we didn’t have hot water the first day but then, it got back

We caught the bus from the port to the top of town and faced a bit of a hike to the hotel. The owners son picked us up and gave us a lift. We also had a free transfer back to the port on leaving

We were met from the port which was appreciated as this hotel is up a reasonably steep hill. However, very close to the town and restaurants. There is also a bus for 2 euros that takes you down to the port area

She gave recommendations on restaurants, places to visit on the island and how to get around. There were a couple of small issues which she dealt with immediately. I recommend this hotel to anyone staying on Ios

Fantastic hotel would stay again. Elizabeth cannot do enough for you. Rooms are furnished nice and towels for pool and beach provided. The hotel is exceptionally clean with lovely pool and sunbed area

Anything you need ask Elizabeth - she is wonderful and so helpful, nothing to much trouble. We did get the impression that breakfast wasn't really an option there so we ate out at the many other places nearby

Big cheap buckets of chips but the pool or a missive plate of nachos. The hotel is 1/2 minutes away from where the ferry drops you, which is also where the shops and restaurants are

It’s not at all luxury - and the rooms are pretty basic but the prices don’t reflect that or mislead you in any way

in summer high season, it was not worth the price but it was cheapest option for duoble bed with swimming pool. it is near port and far from city center. not good location if you want to hangout.
