We stayed at Mare Monte for 8 days and had an absolutely fantastic experience! From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the incredibly hospitable staff. Their friendliness and helpfulness truly made a difference. The location is perfect: just a short walk to the beach, close to great restaurants, and near several scooter rental companies, which made exploring the area super easy. The hotel itself has a lovely pool, perfect for relaxing after a day in the sun. The only small downside was that the mattresses were a bit firm for our taste, and the douche is a little bit tiny. But that really comes down to personal preference. All in all, we had an amazing stay and would definitely recommend Mare Monte to anyone visiting the area!

Katerina and her Husband were so helpful our whole stay, giving us extra towels for the pool and giving us restaurant and activity recommendations. The beach front view is beautiful! Would definitely stay here again!

We stayed here with 4 teenage girls and 4 women. The accommodations were great. The owners were amazing! Katerina made us a breakfast that was absolutely delicious. The place felt like home away from home. The beach was right across the street with very affordable beach clubs with chairs umbrellas and food! Great restaurants around the hotel also. The whole experience was lovely and I would definitely stay here again.

Mare Monte was a dream. It is a beautiful property, steps away from the beach with stunning views. Rooms are clean and the hosts (Lambros, Nikki, Katerina) are wonderful. They were very responsive, helpful and friendly. I highly recommend the place to anyone visiting Ios!

Very helpful and friendly hosts, clean room however not the comfiest of beds. Hotel is less than 5 mins away from ferry port and right opposite the beach. Everything else is walking distance
