Brother's Hotel in Ios Chora

We have just recently returned from another outstanding holiday at the Brothers Hotel. Nicki and Lisa do not just continue to maintain their high standards but continue to surpass our expectations . From when Nicki picks you up at the port on your arrival until he drops you back for your departure you are provided with an experience that it is difficult to surpass. The rooms are very comfortable, the communal areas are spotless and you are provided with a breakfast with lots of options that sets you up for the day. Either Nicki or Lisa are always on hand to share guidance and recommendations for all the facilities that are available on the island of Ios. But what is unique about the Brother Hotel ? Myself & my wife have have had the good fortune to stay at this accommodation over the last 45 years ( we did have a gap of 25 years when raising a family !) The original villa was managed by Nicki's mum & dad. In the 80's the guests were all under 30 but what was significant was that it was like the 'United Nations ' with young people from all over the world having a fantastic time in each others company. Fast forward to 2025 and that experience has not just been built on but further enhanced. Nicki's facilitates introductions between the guests resulting in lifetime friendships being formed. That ranges from teenagers to pensioners, people from every walk of life, race & religion. The common requirement is to enjoy each others company and have fun. We do not consider Nicki & Lisa as hoteliers but as good friends and every time we go back to Ios it is to our Greek home and to meet up with our 'extended family'. September 2026 cannot come soon enough.

We have had another amazing holiday at the fabulous Brothers Hotel. Nicki & Lisa are the most incredible hosts who work exceptionally hard to ensure all guests are made to feel welcome & looked after, whether staying for a night, a week or a month. Rooms are spacious & well equipped, breakfast is fantastic & the pool area is so relaxing. Everything is so clean. Returning each year really does feel like going home, so many friends and great memories have been made. We have already booked for next summer.

Fabulous stay, lovely room and grounds, and 10/10 service from Nicki and Lisa. The hotel is clean and excellent for those wanting a stay not in the main part of Chora (still easily accessible to Chora by public bus or rental vehicle). Nicki picked us up and dropped us off at the ferry stop, and gave us all the recommendations for the island. Clearly a well beloved stay by all of their regulars :)

In terms of cleanliness, comfort and friendly environment, you cannot beat this hotel. Nicky and Lisa go out of their way to make you feel welcome and to get the very best you can out of this beautiful island. We cannot fault any aspect of our stay, so much so that we’ve already booked for next August

Highly recommend staying at the Brothers Hotel! Nikki is an exceptional host. Brothers Hotel is a family-run, locally owned business. Nikki learned both of our names, took us to the ferry for our departure, and went above and beyond to make us feel at home during our stay. Room was incredibly cleanly and comfortable bed. Pool is also very nice.

A Truly Unforgettable Stay – More Than Just a Hotel!

From the moment we arrived on the beautiful island of Ios, we were welcomed with warmth and care that went far beyond what you'd expect from a hotel. Niki met us at the port with a big smile and personally drove us to the hotel — such a thoughtful touch that set the tone for our entire stay.

We were traveling as a large group for our wedding, including my elderly grandmother, and from the very start, the hospitality shown by Niki, Lisa, and their family was nothing short of incredible. When my grandmother unfortunately took a tumble during the trip, both Niki and Lisa were amazing — they went above and beyond to help us, offering genuine kindness and support that meant the world to us.

The hotel itself is spotless and full of charm, set on stunning grounds that are beautifully maintained. Surrounded by vibrant flowers, fruit trees, and vegetables growing under the Greek sun, the setting is truly idyllic. Even better, much of the produce grown on the property is used in the delicious, home-cooked meals — fresh, authentic, and made with so much love.

What really made our stay unforgettable were the people. Niki and Lisa are the heart and soul of the place, and they left such a lasting impression — not just on us, but on our children too. Even now, our kids regularly say how much they miss Lisa and Niki, which just goes to show how special they truly are. We all can’t wait to go back and see them again.
We could not have chosen a more perfect place to celebrate such a special time in our lives. Everything about our holiday was magical, and this beautiful hotel — and the amazing people behind it — will always hold a very special place in our hearts.

This was our second time staying at The Brothers Hotel in Ios, and honestly, it’s one of our favourite places. The main reason we returned to The Brothers is because of Nick and Lisa – their hospitality is truly something special. From the moment you arrive, they make you feel so welcome and at home. Nothing is ever too much for them, and you can tell they genuinely care about every single guest.

The rooms are lovely, comfortable, and always spotless, and the hotel itself has such a relaxed and peaceful atmosphere. The grounds are beautifully kept, and there’s a real sense of calm that makes it the perfect place to unwind.

The location couldn’t be better either – just a short walk from both the beach and the port, so it’s convenient while still being quiet and tucked away.

What makes The Brothers Hotel stand out, though, is the feeling you get when you stay here. Nick and Lisa go above and beyond in a way that makes you want to keep coming back. That’s why this is already our second visit, and it definitely won’t be our last. It’s a real gem in Ios, and we couldn’t recommend it more.

The best hotel for me on the beautiful island of IOS. This hotel is perfect if you want to relax and enjoy the island. It’s located is perfect about 10 min walk from the port. The rooms are immaculate with sir con & shower in the bathroom. The pool is gorgeous with very comfortable sunbeds and parasols. The hosts Nikki & Lisa are a very special couple who make you feel so welcome and also give great guidance on where to visit etc. Breakfast has a choice of continental or scrambled eggs, bacon & sausage , Its not to be missed. Definitely recommend Brothers hotel its a hidden Gem

We've just come back from an 8 night stay at this superb hotel. Nicki and Lisa were absolutely fantastic, nothing was too much trouble for them. Probably the best hosts I have ever come across and I've travelled alot! Hotel was spotlessly clean everywhere. In actual fact we were made to feel like family not guests. We have travelled far and wide across the globe and I can honestly say the welcome and service provided by Nikki and Lisa was the best we have ever encountered. I cannot recommend this hotel enough. It is spotlessly clean, in a great location, close to the port but far enough away to be secluded and relaxing. Breakfast is superb and the homemade watermelon marmalade is simply to die for. We most definitely will return.
