I stayed here for four days earlier this month and wanted to write a review to say how absolutely perfect this hotel is! I dont think anything could be improved upon-it is absolute perfection! The location (walking distance to the harbour/port and a stunning beach) the lovely pool, stunning rooms, amazing breakfast, and really friendly and attentive staff!! Breakfast superb with plenty of choice, including homemade pies and the best local Feta I have tasted! Rooms are comfortable and adequately furnished and quiet! Pool area is again clean and well maintained

Beautiful family run hotel with stunning rooms and courtyard views of the pool. We love the local family that run with place with such philoxenia and Greek generosity

Rooms are cleaned daily along with our balcony pool. Overall great experience would recommend for anyone

Staff are all lovely and approachable with anything about our stay. They were more than happy to accomodate us with any inquiries about the island. Drinks and food are all reasonably priced

Breakfast was really good, lots of choices, hot and cold, with home cooked cakes, biscuits and pastries. My favorite though was the greek yogurt it was honestly the best I have ever tasted

Wow!!! What a great addition to our vacation here! This hotel is luxury at its finest! The decor, pool, Grandma’s restaurant, the breakfast! I wished we could have stayed longer!

Situated overlooking the port beach, Liostasi is both outside the town of Chora and a surprisingly short walk up some gentle steps to a magical old town of shops, restaurants and bars with one euro shots of ouzo

The hotel bar and pool deck are beautifully set up, with attentive staff and incredible food. The highlight for us was the breakfast

Our room overlooking the pool had linen sheets and perhaps the most comfortable bed and pillows we’ve encountered

We soaked up the perfect sunset views by the pool and delicious food at Grandma's. The room was spacious with a sunset terrace. Could not recommend this hotel more! Our favorite stay of our 5 island trip to Greece!

The hotel communicated prior to our arrival to arrange the shuttle service from the port to the hotel

Having got that out of the way, our stay in the Ios Palace was thoroughly enjoyable with its great pools, wonderful staff, and proximity to Milopotas Beach. Just be careful about the room

Where should I start I don’t know. View amazing, room service amazing, breakfast one of a kind. We stayed in their new suites and the experience was so nice that we spend a whole day only in the hotel

We didn’t get to use the spa on property as our stay was short. There were two choices of pools, a bar and a beach with water sports right below hotel

Everything about this hotel was perfection! From being picked up at the port to the welcome drink on arrival! The staff here were friendly, helpful and aimed to make your stay amazing! Breakfasts were included and a perfect way to start your day and a fantastic selection of delicious prepared choices

It's a lovely example of Cycladic architecture: buildings all white and cubic, interspersed with gardens filled with bougainvillea, oleander, cactus, and hibiscus Every corner you turn is another beautiful vista, always with the blue Aegean in the background

Wow what a hotel, you're made to feel very welcome, we received a free upgrade, and the view from our balcony was stunning. The bed was very comfy, and the reception was very helpful. Lots of choice at breakfast.

Everything was amazing! The view, the pool, the restaurant. The whole family is incredibly nice and the location is perfect. Couldn’t recommend it more! Probably my favorite hotel in Greece so far! Thank you!

This place was AMAZING!!! I had read all the other great reviews and decided to book it (even though it was much cheaper than the other places I was looking at), and was blown away!!! They honestly should be charging so much more

The view is spectacular!!! The rooms are exceptionally clean and comfortable! It’s in the best position approx halfway between the village and the beach, and the local bus (which runs every 15mins) stops right out the front

Amazing room with an astonishing view. The hotel owners are very kind and helped us with everything. The location is perfect to enjoy peacefulness and at the same time to explore the whole island

Breakfast was good, location perfect (close to the beach, close to the port) and the pool was great. We had a noisy group next door but our hostess gave the boys a good talk and next night was quiet

We stayed here with 4 teenage girls and 4 women. The accommodations were great. The owners were amazing! Katerina made us a breakfast that was absolutely delicious. The place felt like home away from home

Fabulous place! Absolutely beautiful grounds, rooms are simple but tasteful and Katerina & Lambros (don't forget Nicky!) totally epitomise Greek hospitality, it's like staying with friends! Add to that the great value, perfect location and you have a total winner!!! Can't wait to go back!

The beach was right across the street with very affordable beach clubs with chairs umbrellas and food! Great restaurants around the hotel also. The whole experience was lovely and I would definitely stay here again

Our private pool room was peaceful and relaxing, so we didn’t spend time around the main pool and can’t comment on that area. The food and drinks were excellent, and the service was consistently outstanding

They really cannot do enough for you. Breakfast is plentiful and the staff will do all they can to meet your dietary needs and requirements. Pool bar offers a good menu of fresh, meals and portions are big

A bus stop is conveniently located right outside the hotel (€2 per person), but we often walked - it's just a 10 minutes to the beach and 15 minutes to town. We would absolutely return and highly recommend this hotel

Absolutely stunning place! And so affordable, breakfast delicious, staff friendly as ever, and I also loved that they keep the standards very high. It’s a very luxury experience for a fraction of the cost

The setting and views are nice, the decor is boho beach, and the vibe is very relaxing. Our room was very clean and fresh, and the bed was firm. Our room had had a sunny balcony that overlooked the sea

We loved our stay at Kolitsani! Gorgeous view from our room which was clean and comfortable. Elisabeth and his husband are very kind and funny. We wished we could have stayed longer! Thanks to them for their welcoming!

The hotel is spotless and cleaned daily including our rooms. The views are fantastic, and ended up sitting with Mike late at night having a few beers looking out over the water - fab. Easy to walk to, but quiet itself

A great place to stay in Ios. Just off the town of Ios so that it's quiet but close enough, just a few mins walk to enjoy the night life! Rooms are clean, well equipped and the service is great!

Instead we found Kolistani View and how lucky we were! Ignore the 2+ star, this hotel is great. Mike and Elizabeth the owners are fantastic, always smiling and chatting and ever helpful

Air conditioning, safe, den, fridge and balcony with a beautiful view of Mylopotas beach are included in the price. We can recommend the hotel to everyone

We were thankfully allowed to check in at 9:00 a. The hotel has no beach chairs but we were able to borrow 2 sun umbrellas on request. The hotel complex is very nice, many different plants & a few palm trees

This place is spotless, new Towels and bedding everyday, room had quiet a/c comfy bed, and plenty of hot water from the shower, pool was warm and clean and the swim up bar manned from 10 am every day

We have to be very honest this hotel is a must in Ios. If you have a chance to go to this island one day don’t hesitate to book a room there. They have everything from a fully fonctionnal room to a fantastic pool/bar

The location is fantastic, just a 5min walk to the beach and 15min to the city center and the view from the balcony and swimming pool are great. Thank you very much for your hospitality :)

Sit by the pool and have a laugh and drink with them you will not regret it. We will most certainly be doing the long hall from Australia to relive our experience again

Such a great stay at Hotel Poseidon. Marina was so friendly and accommodating- and gave excellent recommendations. The room was great and the hotel had many places to sit and relax in the sun/shade with great views

The rooms are finished to a high standard with comfortable beds and power showers. The pool is bliss on a hot day and the pool area well equipped with sunbeds and seating. There is a regular bus to the beach

Staying at this hotel you would think you were staying at a $100 or more night stay! The pool and pool area is nice. The rooms are pretty and clean with a nice view

Family owned and ran hotel. Staff are extremely nice and will pick you up from the port. Location is quiet and Walking distance to the town centre. Definitely consider staying here.

The pool was closed when we arrived but we were aware of this as it was early season. The hotel is on the hill so if you have mobility issues you may want to get a taxi back up from the town

Skala Sunset is a true hidden gem in Ios. Perched above Chora, it offers breathtaking panoramic views of the village and sea—ideal for watching the sunset with a cocktail by the pool

The atmosphere is relaxed, the staff are incredibly warm and welcoming, and the hotel itself is clean, stylish, and well-equipped with a spa and shuttle service

Fantastic views Accomodation consists of separate apartment type buildings. Breakfast is excellent with various options. Only possible problem may be the walk back to hotel as it is situated up a very extreme hill

:) Stayed in Ios for 3 nights and this hotel was perfect. Room was spacious for 3 guests. Pool was awesome too with the most amazing view of the town center. :( Our bathroom drains were not draining properly

A short walk from the town/restaurants/bakery/shops/supermarket, 20mins walk from Myloplatas beach, free transfers from the port (if you let them know in advance when you arrive), free WiFi, ood breakfast, clean rooms and very friendly staff

To our surprise the staff upgraded our room to a stunning room with our own private pool and gardens. I was over the moon! A 4 km walk to CHORA which was easy and had a panoramic view almost the entire walk

We went when party season had finished in mid September so it was super quiet and relaxing, but still warm! The facilities are amazing, the staff are super helpful and we had the best time! The breakfast is at the restaurant that looks out over the beach and its amazing

The room we got was more on the basic side however it was super clean, reasonably sized with a lovely balcony and comfortable bed. We booked this hotel as part of our honeymoon and very happy with our choice

The staff go above and beyond to assist you, and are very helpful if you want to book activities eg: boat cruises etc. The room we stayed in was super clean, spacious, modern and extremely comfortable

Just returned from 6 nights here and this is the best hotel I have ever stayed at! So calm and relaxed, the pool area is lovely, the rooms are super clean - cleaned every day too by lovely maids

The hotel pool has loungers and is very well looked after but we enjoyed taking the local bus at the harbour to Mylopotas where there is a great beach with good restaurants - it's an hourly service for 2 euros

We have just returned from a super holiday on Ios where we stayed at the Relux Hotel. The hotel is only a very short walk from where the ferry arrives from Santorini

We are very surprised that this hotel is only 3 star. Everything about it exceeds that. The staff, the room, the pool, the location. The friendly staff welcomed us with a voucher for a free cocktail by the pool

Lovely hotel, modern room which was bigger than expected. Only downside is the amount of steps you have to go up, especially to use the pool. Not suitable for people with mobility issues.

The breakfast, freshly handmade with local products is the perfect way to start your day. A swim at the swimming pool after is mostly pleasant, the water so clean that birds drink it

The pool is nice and they let us check in early once it became available. They even offered to keep our belongings there while we check out the town

There is also a very nice pool with an amazing view which also has a pool bar to meet your every need

They even provide free welcome drink at their pool bar with reasonably priced food and drinks!

The hotel room itself was amazing, seriously the pictures dont even do it justice the premium rooms have an amazing view and sunset view with balcony. The pool as well is so nice and in the center of the hotel

Super beautiful property right on the top of the hill on Ios. A little bit of a climb to get up to the property but very worth it nonetheless. The staff was super attentive and they cleaned our room super well

Elizabeth had great recommendations for food. Theres a restaurant right below the hotel which is a fabulous family owned authentic and well priced resturant

The breakfasts on the terrace are very good. There is a large pool area with a Bar. The local bus services to the main town and beach's have stops just outside the reception area

My first stay was in August 2019 and was the best experience ever, the owner and his family make us feel like another family member, rooms perfect, love the fresh breakfast, love the pool, and drink a delicious cappuccino coffee by the pool with the great view have no price, I am looking forward to stay again in this hotel (Homer's Inn) and I will bring more Tequila Lol

We were picked up from the ferry port free of charge, and on arriving at the hotel, we sat down with a coffee and were giving a full tour of the island on a map, including how to get around, ATMs, supermarkets, restaurants, etc

The pool had a similar view, kitted out with pool bar and plenty of sunbeds. We were here at the end of August and it was very peaceful and perfect, sunny weather

Lovely place to stay in ios, close to the port and to the village. Staff are all friendly and it has a lovely pool and bar. Main draw back is the room was small, dirty when we went in first and a lack of clean towels.

Big cheap buckets of chips but the pool or a missive plate of nachos. The hotel is 1/2 minutes away from where the ferry drops you, which is also where the shops and restaurants are

Staff are so friendly, service is great and the cocktails in the pool, is what you come for

I don't understand all these low reviews. Yes the rooms aren't fancy and modern but they are clean, comfortable and authentic. Perfect size, temperature and dynamic of adults mainly. Simple, but exactly what you want
