Golden Star in Ios Chora

A group of 8 of us, got a party package We were put into Golden Star hotel. We were greeted with a lovely women, who owned the property. All started smoothly and slowly got worse. We had two rooms booked. The rooms were standard, didn’t expect much out of the rooms. We were continuously kicked out of our rooms for “cleaning” which in fact they didn’t clean but pushed all our belonging under the beds and our food was stolen everytime they had been in. In the morning times they unlocked our doors while we were sleeping and insisted to clean while we were in bed trying to sleep. It was 2pm in the day and a cleaner came to clean my room i said i didn’t want anything but towels she said okay, about 5 minutes later the owner came and demanded to clean the room, i said it wasn’t needed but she started to raise her voice because she wanted to change the sheets of the beds, which she didn’t not do just swapped our beds sheets between the beds in the room, she forced us too leave the room, which is just completely out of line as we paid a good sum of money to stay here . They were very invasive. I closed a door and it by accidentally banged and the women barged in while we were all in bikinis getting ready to go to the pool and she started to give out to me. As someone that works in accommodation this just was a disaster. The man and the son from the hotel were lovely and provided taxi services for us, which is greatly appreciated. Location was very good. Overall we enjoyed our time in ios it was just a bit of a let down because of how we were treated at the hotel.

the golden star was a fantastic place to stay if you hate having a good time. The owner is absolutely clapped and repeatedly decided it was her duty to assault people in our ground. Her boyfriend, hubby and/other was a complete and utter joker and continually decided it was his job to make my stay terrible. If you decide to go to IOS, a party island, don’t go here. Curfew is after dinner and if you want to have fun… forget about it.
