My husband-and-I stayed here for 3 nights. Honestly, it’s what you would expect a 2-star hotel to be. When we first arrived, we got placed in the wrong room because of a miscommunication (the owners don’t really speak English, which is surprising since Ios has mostly international tourists). Our actual room was a 3-bed room because we like the extra space. It was TINY. The bathroom was also small but the worst part of it was the shower. I was born in Europe, so I’m used to showers without curtains, but this one didn’t even have enough of a separation between the shower and the floor, which led to a lot of water ending up on the floor – it made me not even want to shower there. Also, I found quite a few spiders in the room. Additionally, there are not separate balconies so if you want to dry your bathing suite, you have to dry it in on the common patio. One good thing is that they had air conditioning. Another good thing is that it was a pretty good location (near the port). Other than that, it was mediocre at best.

I think they must have changed the owners because it was so horrible the place we had to leave. It was dirty and the bed was very very old, really painful and uncomfortable. The current manager doesn’t speak english. A place to avoid.

The rooms are much smaller than they appear and not clean at all. The sheets were stained. The bathroom was very small and unclean. The shower was separated by a dirty drape and also included the toilet so if you were to take a shower no one could use the toilet. The terrace wasn’t kept clean and was full of garbage. The staff didn’t seem welcoming and they didn’t know English so we had to use google translate. All in all, it reminded me of my youth when going camping during the communist regime
