Maritina Hotel in Kos Town

We stayed here first and last night of our holiday before taking the ferry to get to and from Patmos. Our flight to Kos was delayed 2 1/2hours so it was gone 11.00pm before we arrived, so straight up to the room. Breakfast the next morning was good, only thing lacking perhaps was some fresh fruit. Apart from that plenty of other choices. On our return we arrived mid-afternoon. We discovered it was about a 15 minute walk from the ferry port. No taxis to greet incoming passengers off a ferry, but thanks to Google maps we made it to the hotel on foot. to the hotel. Just as well as there were no taxis to be seen anywhere. It is in an excellent location, just a short walk from the square with the covered market and the archeological museum, and there are plenty of eating options on this square. The rooms are very comfortable, equipped with everything you need, excellent bathroom with roomy shower. Breakfast is more than adequate and sets you up nicely for that day, and the resident parrot is very entertaining.

We only stayed here for one night as we were travelling the next day. It was great value for money. Room 200 was for 3 people and was very comfortable and clean with free water in the fridge. The bathroom was good. We enjoyed the rooftop pool and beanbag loungers. The breakfast was very good with plenty of choice. The staff were friendly too. Location was good for the old town and for the port.

Rooms are tired and there's 6a lot of noise from the street. But breakfast is great, and the rooftop pool terrace was the best!

I have nothing but praise for this hotel...The location is perfect, the hotel is extremely clean, the staff is always smiling and friendly, the breakfast is delicious and varied, for me the best ever in 3-star hotels. When you look at what you get for your money, this is the best choice in my opinion.

I had a lovely two- night stay. Very comfortable, position perfect for everything and breakfast superb.

Nice room. Breakfast was really good considering it came with hotel reservation. Overall great experience and rest.

Property was very nice. We had half board so we had breakfast at the hotel which was excellent. For lunch or dinner we had to eat down near the beach at a restaurant which the hotel must of had agreement. We were given a set menu that we could eat from which after some days got boring! So we ended up eating elsewhere and paying extra. Suggest only having breakfast with the hotel. Mosquitoes was a big problem each day in our bedroom so nightly we were on the hunt before sleeping.
