Best cocktails are in the lobby bar, do not recommend beach bar, drinks are watered down. Hotel is child friendly with good selection of multiple food options from street food to more healthy ones - smoothies, salads

Pools are not heated if you’re going out of high season, seaside is great. Would recommend booking brunch to enjoy lovely meal with a great view

Everything is replenished often and staff are always happy to support with dietary questions (there is also a nutritionist on site that can help!) All the bars provide great variety particularly the Island pool bar

We had the private pool rooms but there were plenty of lovely pools throughout the hotel to use We look forward to returning

Excellent stay, very relaxed! We stayed in the bungalow with sea view and it was perfect. No faults. Everything was easily accessible from Mitsis Norida. Thanks for a wonderful stay.

We had a good week eventhough it was the end of the season. We liked the sports, pools, the food and the service. We had two twin beds which was very sad and the room in general was small. Would recommend though.

The facilities are top-notch, and I was thrilled to see the new check-out lounge and showers—such a great touch for guests. I even got a lovely room upgrade with stunning sea views, which made the stay even more special

From the newly-renovated rooms, restaurant layout, quality of the equipment, attentivenese of the staff to the cleanliness of the every inch of the facility including pools, it was the best hotel we have ever stayed

A very pleasant hotel for families with children. Great pools and a large, two-level paddling pool. Unfortunately, the main restaurant is very crowded during peak season

Just returned on 15 October after 8 day stay our third visit to Kos always stayed at Atlantica hotels this is first time at Beach resort but far the best we usually go Adults only but the children were all well behaved so was not a problem on arrival George the hotel manager booked us in and treated us really special cannot thank him enough what a lovely human being he is

Everything from dining to leisure and entertainment were perfect plenty of choices to eat and relax or swim we were always able to get one of the many many sunbeds gueste did not need to reserve with towels as Dawn breaks as many other hotels we stayed at did

This is the first time in Greece that we had a Sandy beach so was perfect for us. I would like to give thanks to the 3 piece rock band we were priveleged to watch the lead guitarist was up there with the best

A large pool with not overwhelming entertainment and a separate adults only pool was a great luxury to have (wish smokers were corralled into a smoking area though)

The experience there was great. The hotel has everything you could need or want. A beach, pool, bars with free alcoholic drinks, tasty food, and a kind reception. The manager himself was very helpful and professional

Had a wonderful stay at this hotel. Two huge swimming pools and Hotel is right on the beach. We had the half board which included breakfast and dinner. The hotel is about a 30 minute walk to the center of town

The location is good although the sea gets a bit rough at times on the north side. There are car rentals everywhere so you can get to other beaches

Free table tennis and tennis were a nice touch that delighted me. The only downside was the rooms and some parts of the hotel which were visually old. A proper renovation would be suitable

The rooms are well laid-out and comfortable and are thoroughly cleaned and re-stocked every day. The pools are excellent and never felt over- crowded and the pool-side drinks service was a wonderful touch

The hotel is gorgeous. Quiet and very well maintained. The food was excellent in variety and cooked with passion. Had a pool room which was out of this world.

The other hotel pools are also not heated. You do get use of the Spa pool downstairs where The Spa is located

Around the resort itself there were plenty of spaces to relax whether by the pool or just enjoying the views, and everything felt well looked after

We have a five month old baby and we couldn’t use the pool it’s was far to cold we wouldn’t book this room type again because of this reason huge huge shame! The food in the main restaurant was fantastic, plenty of choice for breakfast lunch & evening meal’s, we were all inclusive drinks were fantastic, brilliant choice of cocktails ( you download the app and get a code on arrival so you can order...

It's really close to the beach as well but the access to sea might be a bit hard as there is a lot of big stones on the beach

The private beach is a plus as well. I like the many options to hang out in the areal. The stuff is friendly, good service, helpful

Rooms are spacious and modern in the superior rooms, very peaceful setting. Beach in front small but part sand shingle, very breezy so big waves so keep close eye on kids

Some stains could be easily cleaned with right products and some effort. The food is good, I always find something, however, sometimes it did not look so nice. All in all I had a very good and comfortable stay!

The only object of criticism is that the children's pool does not have a canopy so that children can play at least in partial shade, the children are in the open sun, and this is unpleasant

Nice atmosphere, rather quite and relaxed. Tennis (hard court), windsurfing, catamaran, kite-surfing at the beach. Buffet has good selection, yet I had better food in hotels

We were lucky, on the way we were picked up by a manager from the horizon beach resort, gave a lift and helped to order a taxi from the hotel

Since the umbrellas by the pool are small, there is no shade, and the playground can be equipped with triangular rags (solar sails)

The rooms are very clean and big, this time we had a family room. A very beautiful beach is right next to the hotel. Tavern Thalasa is very good quality

I highly recommend the Gaia Royal Hotel - a hotel with a huge and beautiful territory, its own zoo, minigolf, tennis, several large pools, and a small beach 5 minutes walk away

Gaia Royal is probably one of the best resorts we've stayed. Rooms cleaned daily so very clean. Mini zoo for kids and also mini golf, several kids play, tennis, football, basketball court, 3 very good pools with bars

But perhaps this is only the beginning of the season and there are more animations in the midst of this. But besides this Everything else about the hotel was great!

Gaia itself is a bit out of the way but there's very good buses that run from hotel reception that can take you to Kos town and that costs €3

However, we had superior room in- I guess the best place possible - close to the beach, next to the main building with restaurant and. during the night the smell was intolerable. I do not want to guess what was it

or you can rent car, scooter, beach buggy or quad and travel to other beutiful spots in under 30mins. would we do Gaia royal again definately 100% yes. This place is special and has something for all ages

Unfortunately My children didn’t like the saltwater pool which was heated, which is very unfortunate, as one of the main reasons that I booked the hotel was that they had a heated pool, however I did not realise that this was a saltwater pool

It would be better if the heated pool was freshwater! The pools in general were beautiful, although the pools were too cold to swim in aside from the children’s pool which was about 60 cm deep and more of a paddling pool

Other hotels had boxes of toys, which kept our children happy if they didn’t want to join in with the organised activity. The hotel and its grounds were beautiful. The grounds and hotel were very well kept and clean

We were there off-season and there were plenty of beds available at all times

The second room was much better, there was no unpleasant smell and the view from the balcony was much improved. We had bed and breakfast only , as we like to eat out every day at the local restaurants

The food was good quality and well set out, the dining area was very beautiful compared to other buffet restaurants that we have been to. The coffee service and clearing up was very slow, which did let it down slightly

The check in was seamless, we arrived slightly early before our room was ready, so we went straight to the buffet lunch. The food and salad options were great and we were offered a drink straight away

So I’ll start with what was great… the pools are beautiful, we pretty much went to the two main infinity pools everyday, we got there at 8 every day to get sun beds and they go FAST

The sea front rooms have the most beautiful views. The weather in October was perfect and not too cold, all the restaurants have blankets for the evenings when it gets windy

The man who took pool drink orders was absolutely amazing and made our trip! He made sure everyone always had a drink and was so kind and friendly

Myself and my now Fiancè had the best time at Mitsis Summer Palace. From the moment we walking into the reception and saw the view on the other side, we were blown away

The restaurants were okay but were often out of menu items and frequently got our orders completely wrong. Stick to the snack options for lunch, breakfast is great, and the Mediterranean restaurant for dinner is good

Restaurant service throughout the stay was also slower than expected, with meals frequently taking a long time to arrive and at one stage taking over 25 mins to be seated despite being on time and with three small hungry, tired children it was poor

While it is understandable that Deluxe guests receive additional benefits, the standard package is already very expensive and should still feel seamless and premium

One area of real concern was the speed and manner in which buggies were driven around the resort. Given the number of small children present, they were often driven unsafely and at speed

Having to repeatedly ask drivers to slow down was not ideal and detracted from what should feel like a safe family environment. The manageress was excellent

The room service food was again very poor, often tasteless and on several occasions undercooked, which was disappointing for a premium resort

Securing restaurant reservations proved difficult and there remains a clear gap between the standard and Deluxe experience

Food and drinks were plenty and a good choice for everyone. A choice of 3 pools and a 2 minute walk onto the beach. If we were to come back to Kos I wouldn’t not hesitate to stay over again

We managed to do 3 excursions (Nicyros Volcanic island, Kos Town and we even went to Bodrum in Turkey). I highly recommend this hotel to anyone wanting beautiful views of the beach front and mountains

There was plenty of choice at meal times and the staff were genuinely some of the nicest people we have ever met! Kardamena is a very short walk away, just 10 mins along the beachfront

Our room was a Junior Suite (2 adults and 2 children) with a spacious room and a view overlooking the beach

We visited the water park, Nisyros and also hired a car for a day and did a road trip round the island. We did not want to leave and cannot wait to go back! Hopefully for a 10 day stay next time rather than 7! ☺️

Ideally located around a 10 minute walk into the town centre. We stayed in this hotel for 7 nights as a family of 4, room 320! The hotel, staff and facilities were great and would say that they are a 5* hotel

Lovely hotel in well kept gardens. Spotlessly clean by Linda and her staff. All members of staff were very happy and very friendly, always a smile. 2 lovely swimming pools to keep cool and a swim

Felt like home thanks to the amazing staff! We loved our stay at Mitsis Ramira Beach Hotel! The hotel is beautiful, but it’s the people who made it unforgettable

The food is delicious, as are the drinks served all day at the Main Bar, Pool Bar, and Beach Bar. There are two excellent à la carte restaurants: the Italian and the Meat Restaurant

The buffet restaurant was very good with a great choice of dishes and the AL a carte restaurant meals were delicious. The pool and beach areas were comfortable although the pool was a little cold

Miltiadis at the main pool took such great care of us – always with a warm smile and perfect attention to detail. Room service was fast, friendly, and made relaxing in our room even better

Our sea view room was spacious and comfortable, we were looked after by housekeeping with regular towel changes and nice touches like a fruit platter and bottle of sparkling wine

The pools and restaurants are all good and I wanted to give a special mention to 3 of the restuarant staff Alba, John and Jason who were amazing not only great at their job but went out of their way to make us feel welcome and nothing was too much trouble for them

First holiday abroad in 8 years and chose Akti Beach club due to a wedding we were attending. Overall the hotel is OK but the rooms really let it down and also the attitude of some of the staff wasn't great

Shared pool was nice and cleaned regularly although not tiled round the outside so you’re just walking/sitting on concrete, the sunbeds feel and look like they’ve had better days and need replacing, these are torn, have brown stains and do not function properly

Food was NOT properly labelled up so I would definitely NOT recommend this hotel for anyone that has any food intolerances or allergy’s (which I think Jet2 as reps need to investigate further as I don’t believe this is compliant with current regulations and could end up being serious) We didn’t try the seafood restaurant

My favourite part of my holiday was the activities run by the animation team which they did the following: Darts, Archery, Mini Golf, Beach Volley Ball, Football, Water Polo, Aqua Gym/ Zumba plus more and the winner's got given a certificate and medal

Nice resort food was good with plenty of choice drinks were ok. Entertainment in adults only bar was shocking. Double room was nice but very small. Family rooms around the pool were big but very noisy

The staff were friendly and helpful as always, ready to assist with a smile. The bar by the pool offered nice drinks and a relaxed atmosphere. The food at the hotel was varied and good, as it has been previous years too

Pros Great location with beach short walk , great little walk along beach to lovely little town Kardamena. Great bars restaurants gift shops. Bar taverna food hot and freshly cooked

Stayed here for 10 nights in bungalow 77 with a shared swimming pool. The hotel is around a 20 minute walk to the main resort of Kardanena where you will find restaurants, bars, shops and beautiful promenade

All other times need to go to the main bar or pool bar. Snacks were OK but not much on offer at the pool bar more available at the separate taverna

The hotel is extremely clean everywhere and has a large amphitheatre for entertainment, small shop, spa, outside snack bar and pool bar

The private beach is only a 5 minute walk from anypart of the hotel, the separate snack bar is between the hotel and beach

The hotel also has a swimming pool, but we didn't get a chance to use it during our visit, so I can't comment on that amenity

Rooftop pool is nothing fancy, but nice to have

Situated right by the harbor, it offers incredibly easy access to a variety of excellent restaurants, a market, and several beautiful beaches

We found it incredibly convenient to have so many options within a few minutes' walk. The bustling town center is also just a short 5-10 minute stroll away, making it effortless to explore the area's sights and sounds

They were extremely attentive and worked quickly to resolve the problem, which we greatly appreciated. Their professionalism and genuine concern for our comfort were a testament to their excellent customer service

Its unbeatable location, combined with the clean and comfortable rooms and the exceptional staff, makes it a highly recommended choice for anyone visiting the area. We would definitely stay here again

Comfortable sun-beds around the pools and the beach, and never a problem getting three beds together. Buffet breakfast, with an option to order from a menu too

You can really relax in this hotel, with a choice of pools, sun lounger locations, a poolside bar, spa and gym

while you may think that the hotel is a little secluded, you can get a bus outside the hotel into the Kos Town and rent whatever you want, such as cars, buggies and pushbikes (i recommend the electric bikes) from a local shop, who will deliver and collect from the hotel! So everything is at your fingertips to either relax in style or explore the island

Our cases were taken from us and we were driven in a little buggy to what we thought was our room, only to discover that we had been upgraded due to availability on the exact dates we were staying

The apartment was simply amazing, furnished with the very best and sparkling clean, and came with a private pool overlooking the beach

There was some confusion with the booking when we first arrived, but it was swiftly resolved by Maria. After a welcome drink we were taken to our room which was spacious, clean, comfortable with beautiful views
