Just got back from another fantastic holiday at Anaxos gardens ,Yota and her husband Dimitri are just amazing and can’t do enough to help in every way possible,people moan about no water ,no shower curtain up and toilet paper in the bin but honestly it’s Greece and such a beautiful unspoiled island definitely worth a visit

Recently had a lovely weeks stay at Anaxos Gardens. Family of 4 (children 7&9years). Our first time to Lesvos but we’ve been to a number of Greek islands before. The accommodation suited us perfectly. We were expecting just one room but we had an apartment with 2 sofa bed type single beds and an additional bedroom with a double bed in. Clean and sufficient for a budget holiday. Demetri was especially helpful when I had to pester him each time I had a problem. He also does a lovely BBQ on Sundays. Well kept pool. Best thing about the area is the Village Train that picks up outside the Malibu Restaurant and takes you to Petra and Molyvos.

Just got home after a three week stay. This place is great. Rooms are spotless, as is the whole place. Friendly owners and a great BBQ on the Sunday. Short walk to the beach Been there four times now and have already booked three weeks next June! Highly recommended.

This place just gets better every year whether newcomers or re - visitors a warm welcome is assured clean pool fab seating area and food is lovely and drinks a plenty we had a lovely 3 weeks and look forward to our next visit in August 2024 for 3 weeks

If you want luxury resort with international style food go somewhere else. This is Greek at its best. Not for those with mobility issues as quite a few steps and inclines. Pool area lovely and almost on the sea shore. Low level Greek music at the resort and in the small local family run restaurants. Home cooked Greek food.

I've visited 10 summer spots in Greece. This one is the most complete. And Alma Hotel is the perfect place for visiting the northern part of the island. The water has rust in it and a prominent taste of iron. The air conditioning has to run for a very long time to cool down. The towels are a bit gray, not white. We got 2 beds, although we are a couple and we were not asked about our preference. Wonderful hotel with quiet and peacefull atmosphere. It is built like a little village with everything you need near you. Lots of outside and inside space to spend time and have a drink. It is oh so quiet .. walking distance of Petra. 3 restaurants nearby. Nice and large rooms.

Very hospitable and friendly owners, clean rooms, and good breakfasts. The pool is also clean and pleasant, with loungers and tables to sit and relax. Overall, very nice and homely. The only downside was the very weak internet, but maybe that was a good thing, because I didn’t spend time on my phone.

The hotel was clean and clearly recently refurbished, the bed was enormous and incredibly comfortable. The stay at this hotel was magical. The proximity to the center of Petra, beautiful sunsets and a beautifully situated room were all we needed! The sauna was closed for renovation. That is something that should be communicated when you are doing the reservation.

Great Hotel in Downtown This hotel was a wonderful stop for us in the north of Sweden and became our base for a week. One of the unplanned for bonuses was the availability of a wheelchair for us since my wife broke her leg on the trip. The breakfast was great and the staff very helpful. Our room on the top floor offered great views of Skellefteå including the river and downtown.

A fabulous family run hotel in a superb location. We ended up with a room at the top of the hill with stunning views of the mountains to one side and the sea the other. Each evening, we sat on our balcony mesmerised by the spectacular sunsets. Yes, it is a hike up the hill, but oh, so worth it just for the views alone. Please, if you do have mobility issues, then bear this in mind and don't complain...

This is our 3rd visit to this charming family run hotel in Petra. We request a high room, yes a bit of climb but worth it for the amazing view. Rooms are spacious and cleaned daily. Typical Greek breakfast with plenty of choice. Large pool with plenty of sunbeds around. Easy flat walk into Petra square takes about 15 minutes. Takes 50 minutes to walk to Molyvos or 10 euros in a taxi. Lots of returning...

First time to Lesvos and what a treat it was to stay at the Panorama. We did request a high hill room and we got it, not for the feint hearted but worked off some of the gorgeous food and drink. Tremendously reasonably priced, whilst being perfectly situated, down an 800 yard road, right at the Molyvos end of petra and, at the end of the track, opposite the best bit of the beach, with a rather nice beach bar. Very poor room quality at a nice beach The hotel has many rooms: some with balconies, some opening to garden (including employee dorms). Not ours: they gave us the only room in the entire complex with none of that. The AC wasn't working neither so they gave us a stand fan, but the room was hot even at midnight. Really enjoyed our 2 week stay We booked B&B but eat once and was thankful we didn’t go all inclusive. Rooms were nice with AC and the grounds are spacious. 2 lovely pools. Would definitely come back again as located short bus shuttle to town which has plenty of tavernas. Not recommended if you struggle walking and using steps

They where very attentive, which was nice. The rooms are old, but Cozy. The food and service was great, bit when it's warm the location away from Molivos is far, and the shuttlebus only travels 4 times a day, which is a bit small.

I had the most amazing time I agree the food isn't the best and repetitive , however the location and the room me and my daughter had (330) was out of this world . Rooms are clean the staff are lovely and cant do enough for you. I loved every minute of it and would definitely return if I was guaranteed that room.

Fantastic apartments with extraordinary views. The apartments are set into a hillside the higher the apartment the better the sea view. It’s very steep so if you have mobility issues ask for a low level. The hotel is spotless and the breakfasts very good. The Sunrise is a well-run complex of small blocks with a central reception/restaurant/bar, all set on a hillside with gorgeous views across the sea to the Turkish coast opposite. We had a lovely stay at this hotel it is located in a perfect location by the sea our room was 125 would not recommend as the balcony was not private cleaners where amazing with clean towels daily the food at the taverna was ok but the staff where really miserable so the customer service needs to improve.

I am here at the moment. The hotel is in a quiet spot with a small pebble beach. My room is good, the furniture is new, plenty of storage space. My friend and I stayed here mid September. Lots of positives and a couple of negatives. First negative, on arrival at about 11pm, our room had a double bed rather than the two singles I had booked. The receptionist seemed quite put out about our request for this to be rectified and said she had waited for our arrival an hour past her shift, despite the fact we were on time. No good nearby beaches. Shuttle only runs a few times a day and is tiny. The room's fridge was half broken, and the freezer compartment was always open. Lots of ants everywhere. Food was good. The bar played weird and too loud music at most times. The pool is with saltwater, which gets very salty throughout the day.

Everyone was really nice. The room was a bit small in my opinion for 5 people and one bed was wonky and uncomfortable. Pool was great and food (we had breakfast and dinner) were tasty and there was plenty to choose from. Overall experience was very positive. We borrowed a car and from this place had a good availability to different parts of the island. Also there is a beach really close.
