Viva Mare Hotel in Mithymna

If you are planning to come and relax like in a 4-star hotel, I want to warn you that this hotel is 2-3 stars at most. One thing that is 4 stars here is the sea views when you eat. 1. The rooms are small. The bathroom has an unfinished ceiling, I advise you not to look under the bed. There are cracks and traces of blood on the walls. There was a door between the two separate rooms, so we lived as if in one room with strangers without any privacy. At first, no one even locked the door until we asked them to do so. 2. Food - the choice is not great, for the first time I was faced with the fact that you have to pour drinks from bottles yourself. If you like rice three times a day and four types of onion cooking, this will be for you. For breakfast you get one drink to choose from and it is water from a diluted powder. Food are cold. 3. The beach is covered in sea urchins, and there was garbage on the beach. No one cleans the beach. 4. Alcohol - wine and beer are included, but you have to pay for everything else. 5. The pools are in need of repair, as the tiles are already falling off the bottom and you can cut your leg. There is also one newer looking pool, but it is permanently closed. In general, I rate this hotel 2/10, 2 points only for the beautiful view and normal staff. If you are planning to go on all inclusive, I do not recommend this hotel. If you see positive reviews here, maybe those people have never seen anything better for the money, but believe me, I have something to compare it to, and it's not worth it at all.

Hotel Viva Mare turned out to be a huge disappointment. The room was dirty, with a rusty radiator and a leaking bathtub. Despite the all-inclusive offer, on the first day, we were refused water, being told it was extra. The hotel looked completely different from the pictures, was neglected, and the staff were unfriendly and smoked indoors. The food was low quality; when a dish ran out, it was not replenished, the selection was very small, and the dishes were repetitive. The rooms were poorly soundproofed, and pool towels were unavailable. The bar service was poor, with drinks served in dirty glasses. The sunbeds by the pool were broken, and tiles were falling off the pool, posing a hazard. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone.
