Lagos Mare Hotel in Agios Prokopios

5 nights at Lagos Mare in early October. Nice location. 10 minute taxi from airport, 8 minute walk to the beach and 10 minute bus ride to the main town.

Taxi from airport charged us 25 Euros but think we were ripped off. Hotel shuttle was only 20 Euros. Lesson learned.

Hotel has a very good restaurant. Ate there a few nights and breakfast was included. They helped us organize a rental car and provided towels for the beach.

No complaints and enjoyed our stay. Only negative is that if you want to get to the main town you will need to take taxi, bus, or rental. There is a good selection of restaurants along the beach and some shops. So great if you are more of a beach person.

Bus is 2.10 Euros each way and hotel sells tickets. Good to pre purchase for both of says. Bus ran every 30 minutes, good to confirm times at front desk.

Lagos Mare was a perfect hotel to start our vacation in Naxos Greece. While there is an 8 minute walk to the beach it gave it the vibe of an old town. The hotel was extremely clean and the staff were always there to answer any questions. We started every morning with a delicious breakfast. It was a great way to start the day. We had a partial view room and I loved using the balcony. It had a clothes line to hang your wet clothes out to dry. It was a quiet hotel with mostly adults because we were there mid September. The 40.00 transportation fee was a little steep if you choose it. I didn't realize how close it was to the airport. We rented a car and drove to the 3 villages in the mountains. It was beautiful!! We really enjoyed our stay at Lagos Mare. Thank you

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Our room was spacious with a nice balcony and amenities. The service was great, especially the bartender at the pool, Thomas and the inside bar girl Angelika. Reception also helpful and friendly.

This hotel was conveniently located next to a bus stop. A lot of restaurants near by, beach was only 9 minutes walk and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was a 5 star breakfast. 🌟

My wife and I spent 2 nights at Lagos Mare on our honeymoon and had a wonderful stay. The room was very nice and the staff was excellent. The food was delicious and the hotel's location was fantastic. Walking distance to beautiful beaches and great restaurants.

About a 10 min walk to one of the most popular beaches in Naxos, the Lagos Mare is in a great spot. The hotel is basic but comfortable. Continental style breakfasts with very clean rooms. Some tips around the local area. Bus stop to go into Naxos old town is opposite the hotel (get bus tickets from local supermarkets near beach). Bus stop to bring you back is however down by the beach so it’s a small walk uphill! Massively recommend hiring an atv for the day to get around. There are some stunning beaches and coves with an old abandoned hotel you can explore on the south west coast as well as the stunning village of Halki inland and Demeters temple. If you want to get a sun lounger at a slightly cheaper rate of 30 Euros a set with no min spend - head to nearer the end of the beach.

Lovely hotel and very friendly staff. Try the little tavern across the street run by a family. Lovely food at very good prices. The beach is the best in greece and just 10 minutes walk.

What a beautiful boutique hotel. The staff are so nice and the location is a 4 minute walk to the beach. Highly recommend- very clean and nice rooms!!! Perfect location & price!!!
