We didn’t realise we had booked last week of the hotel being open. Really pleased with size of room (112) Room cleaned daily. Breakfast only average. Location good except the hill to hotel not suitable if you have mobility issues. Scenery from balcony good as long as you don’t look down as it was a dumping area. End of our stay due to be picked up at 5pm but had to vacate room at 11am, we asked several times to stay in room & was told could only stay in room until 1pm for 20 euros we asked if time leaving room could be extended which was denied however, the only other 2 people being picked at 5pm was allowed to stay in their room until 5pm for 20 euros. When we returned from lunch at 1pm staff had started clearing away all outside furniture, you could tell they wanted to lock up. Customer Service disappointing, therefore would not return.

Great large room with sea view but all very unloved , staff appeared disinterested. Dead plants and gardens all tatty . Pool bar had no atmosphere and €5 a beer only €4 in Finikouda. No menu for snacks blackboard with nothing on it , it just appeared like they wanted to close . Less and less choices for breakfast as it can to end Sept . Also smelt of smoke in reception and breakfast area . Definitely nicer places to stay. Broken chair and sunbeds

Came for a week 17th September with my daughter . The hotel itself is clean , good size pool , nothing really fancy but I prefer hotels where you feel relaxed and the staff are really friendly ( this is what made it ) breakfast was good not loads of choice but enough . The room was big with separate bedroom Kitchen has a 2 ring hob with a very small separate oven under with grill . The walk into town was around 10 min going 15 coming back it's a lovely little town with nice tavernas by the harbour . If you're looking for relaxation it's great but if your after loads of bars etc probably not the place The only let down was buses we waited an HR (I know a long time but I had some hope ) in the end got a taxi to where we wanted to go and he picked us up too at a set time Lovely holiday had

We stayed 27th August to 10th September in room 110, an upgrade for sea view. We traveled with Jet2 and the transfer was horrible, over 2 hours in the dark, with narrow, windy roads made me feel travel sick. Going back was better in daylight and less parked cars to navigate. We were met by George at midnight who is lovely and a credit to the hotel, so cheerful and welcoming. He introduced us to Grace and Charle the resident kittens, carried both our cases down to our room, ( a lot of steps) and told us everything we needed to know. Our room was clean and very spacious with plenty of storage and a small equipped kitchen area. (No washing up liquid or cloths, so take your own even it’s just to rinse out glasses) . Bathroom was a bit dated with big spacious walk in shower but the shower head holder was broken so we improvised with a towel peg). We had a lovely terrace overlooking the village and sea with clothes airer and pegs. As the hotel is built on a hill the views are stunning from everywhere but it does mean you have got the climb backup to the hotel from Finikounda centre, part slope and part steps within the hotel resort. The pool area is lovely with an adjoining children’s pool ( there is nothing else we could see in the hotel for young children). There were plenty of sunbeds and umbrellas, they’ve obviously bought more since last year’s photos and reviews. 2 shady covered areas as well to lie/ sit. The pool bar served most drinks, ice cream and club or toastie sandwiches. They may have done more but there was no menu to tell you what they did do. This may be worth them considering for on the bar along with a cocktail list they can make. The aperol spritz was good. It was about a 10 min walk down to the nearest supermarket, 12 mins to the seafront and village beach ( sea inflatables disappeared the beginning of September) with plenty of bars and restaurants, 20 mins ( with hill/steps) to lemon drops beach (lovely bit stoney) and 20 mins walk to long quiet beach at Anemomilos. Breakfast was surprisingly good, all buffet with a continental Greek section, cakes, pastries, fresh fruit (the peaches and nectarines were huge), a hot section with mushrooms, fried and scrambled eggs, bacon, cheese pie, potatoes and a bread and toast section. We did notice our second week there was a lot more Brits in the hotel, baked beans appeared on the buffet and the cheese pie disappeared 😂. We hired a car and got out an about exploring the gorgeous Peloponnese. Close by Methoni castle is definitely worth a visit, the ancient site of Messeni, Pilos, and further afield to the other “fingers”, Gytheio, Areopoli, Monavasia, Mystras, shame public transport and taxis aren’t in more abundance for local visits .

A wonderful place to stay. The Panorama is a family run hotel, with friendly staff , who work so hard to ensure your stay is unforgettable. We stayed in studio 112, which was away from the main block, beside the pool. Our room was impressively large and well equipped (although a bread knife would have been handy), and our view was outstanding. Breakfast was varied and delicious, and served either in the pretty breakfast room, or out on the covered terrace, where the views were absolutely stunning. We loved that no one really reserved sunbeds and left them unattended for hours- completely as it should be. There was always somewhere to sit around the pool, at any time of the day. The pool bar served a good variety of drinks and delicious club sandwiches- which we only discovered on the last day- which was probably just as well! It is about a 10 minute walk into the village, and maybe about 15 coming back because of the killer hill- make sure you come in the back entrance behind the pool, as it's easier, but in the August heat you feel like it will literally finish you off! Finikounda itself is so pretty, with a traditional feel, where Greeks themselves like to holiday. The harbour is beautiful and there are some good bars/cafes and tavernas. The beach is beautiful, but extremely busy in August, so avoid if you don't like the crowds. Couple of other quieter beaches close by- namely beautiful Loutsa beach- about 15 minutes walk past Lemon Drops beach and also the beach by the Campsite Anemomilos. All in all, a beautiful unspoilt part of Greece to visit, and Panorama Resort is a wonderful place to stay.

Beautiful hilltop hotel. Off the beaten path with a great view of the town below. Pool was nice and had a bar to get drinks and snacks at. Senior suite had two bedrooms, living room, small dining area and small kitchen area.

Town was a quick drive down the hill or a 15 minute walk. Town offered many options for dinner and shopping. Dinner at Elena Taverna was amazing. Highly recommend it.

Buffet breakfast was very good. Many different breakfast foods to chose from. You won’t go hungry!

Value for money clean and well kept family hotel. Good choice of continental breakfast. Very helpful friendly staff, without exception. The hotel has an ongoing refurbishment program, mainly going on throughout the winter period , they are trying to do 10 rooms per year says George, I must say there was no disruption and only empty room painting during our stay. We stayed in a one bed apartment which was the furthest away from the main building, but was nearest to the quiet back road to the town and beach, a nice 10-15 minute walk, there were quite a few steps from our room to reception and breakfast, not really a major issue for reasonably able bodied people, our luggage was delivered and collected from our room to and from reception otherwise that would have been difficult for us older guests. Our apartment was one of the rooms yet to be renovated and was a bit dated, but always clean and well serviced, two fantastic air con units, there were a few minor issues when we arrived, we spoke to George and he said go for breakfast and I will fix them, and by the time we got back all was rectified, we would recommend this hotel and it’s friendly atmosphere without hesitation, and is definitely on our list of hotels we would go back to in the future

Exquisite hospitality in a great environment. The hotel stuff is very kind, polite and ready to assist at anytime. The view from our room and the pool gives you the sense that there is paradise on earth. The room was huge and very clean and tidy. Thank you very much and we will see you again soon. Evi & Aggelos

Fantastic resort! Great customer service, great pool and view of the town and sea. Rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was one of the best we've had in this region. We'd happily travel back to this resort with our family. Very reasonably priced and close to other townships of Methoni and Pilos. Methoni is often difficult to find accommodation in, so Finikounda is definitely a great alternative. Lots of 'touristy' walkways lined with tavernas and gift shops in the central part. But, Methoni is only 10-13 mins away, too. Well done, Panorama! A great asset to your town!
