This is a lovely hotel on the edge of Kalamata. Refurbishment has been done very well and staff went out of their way to help. Pool and gardens are lovely as photos suggest. Some great restaurants in the town which is easy to reach.

I brought my group here and they were all doubles but for some strange reason the hotel Which is the best together and makes them up as singles. After explaining that the customers were all double rooms they fixed it up for us however the following day they made them up a single as again which is really weird especially as I was a single I got a full double bed.

Stayed for one night with a small group tour of 14 and our guide . Check in was time consuming as they needed passport details . All the other hotels on our trip had been provided with these in advance. We had requested a walk in shower , which was lovely. We have stayed at the Rex a few times over the years and have been more than satisfied on every occasion. Our room on the 4th floor was on the corner of the building and was flooded with light. The room was clean though dated. Front desk and breakfast staff were helpful and excellent. A very good European breakfast was provided.

Great central location, staff were lovely, good value for money

The building is old. Love the architecture. Our room was spacious and clean. They provide a magnet that you attach in the room to run lights and air. Bed was low to the ground and really firm. Every time I moved it squeaked. Shower was decent. You have to step up into shower so if you are short you need stuff to grab onto. Air ran on low so really never cooled down to a comfortable temp. Perfect spot, right on the beachfront, in the heart of the city! Everything you may need, (market, taverns, bars, etc), it's within walking distance. Breathtaking views of the Kalamata beach. Most polite and friendly staff! Clean, spacious rooms, well air-conditioned, with basic renovation and basic breakfast. Visited mid-September.

Parking is available in a lot a short walk from hotel. Staff very friendly and helpful. Good location for beach and walking into town.

Well located on the seafront close to restaurants

The staff at Hotel Ostria were so pleasant and helpful and we enjoyed our short stay. The breakfast was plentiful and continental. The hotel is located right across the road from the beach with many bars and tavernas in short walking distance. We also walked into Kalamata centre which took about 20 minutes. It was als easu to drive to from the airport and there is sufficient parking in the local area...

The room was clean but balcony a 2ft ***** overlooking a side street . Although plenty of bed side lights no switches to turn on giving a very dim view in room .no minibar no milk sachet for coffee . Breakfast very basic eggs yogurt cereals etc . Bread very dried up cake the same . Dissapointing . No info given. Opposite the beach which was fab

Great location with friendly and hospitable staff. Location is right across from the beach. Having the hotel breakfast across the road from the hotel was a memorable and great way to start the day. Convenient location to the dining options which are plentiful. Rooms are large and well set out. Would definitely recommend this hotel and will stay here again.

Very nice hotel, friendly staff very good meals, different menus daily, very spacious rooms. The hotel is in Greek style, that is very nice. We had very pleasant one week stay. Beach is by the hotel sand/pebbles. Few meters to the water you will find rocks. If you look for calm and relaxation, this is your choice.

This is a hotel in a Greek village right on the beach. Unfortunately, far from the tourist region, I recommend renting a car in advance. There is delicious food in the hotel in distant amounts. The beach is rocky so recommend water shoes.....

The whole hotel is nice and comfy, but the best thing was acctually service.💞 beautifull sea with stone beach, the Kalo Nero village is small and quiet but it gives true vibe of greak summer. Nearest activities like bigger pubs are about 30km away but for family trips its perfect

WE WENT ON 21ST JUNE OUR SECOND HOLIDAY AT THE HOTEL. IT WAS JUST AS AMAZING AS BEFORE. THE STAFF ARE SO FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL. THE ROOMS WERE CLEAN AND THE BEDS VERY COMFORTABLE. I was disappointed not to have been able to use the spa as it was just out of season. My room was spacious and clean, fine for the price though the shower isn’t very nice. The evening meal was adequate but there are some nicer restaurants nearby. Breakfast consists of typical continental stuff and is plentiful. The lunch menu however, is lovely. We were very happy with our stay at Oasis Hotel . We spend 5 days at the end of Μay and everything was incredible. Our room was clean and tidy The staff were lovely and very helpfull. They provide breakfast wich is very tasty. Lastly, the scenery is very beautiful . We loved spending time in the swimming pool and the sea ,which is very close to the Hotel. We definitely recommend it.

Location beautiful and spacious rooms, but they could do with some renovating. Lots of mosquitoes and windows had no protective nets. Breakfast was very poor. However, staff was very friendly.

A fantastic hotel in a quiet location with a fantastic view. It has everything you need for an amazing vacation. You can have a wonderful beach with a turtle sanctuary all to yourself, just 500 meters from the hotel. The staff is incredibly kind and helpful. And very importantly – it's for adults only

We booked here for a night while in the area to see Olympia. Room was for 3 adults - me, my husband and adult daughter. Room was very clean, comfortable and spacious. This hotel is nestled in a great landscape. The breakfast buffet was good as was the dinner. Our room was very roomy with its own private balcony/patio. The amenities were more than ample with books, sturdy furniture and plenty of storage. The pool area is well maintained and the lobby/reception area is large and inviting.
