Amazing location ! Great breakfast!! Excellent customer service very helpful and friendly!! The only downside was the rooms as seemed a bit odd to have so small rooms and no double beds. Overall 7 maximum.

Spent a week here in October with my family. The hotel was absolutely beautiful- the renovation was great. Our room was spacious and lovely. The swimming pools were also great. We were able to swim every day

The beach is very pebbly as other people have described. But if you wear sandals in or water shoes it’s fine. The location is beautiful as well and perfect for exploring the area The food was delicious and varied

I brought my group here and they were all doubles but for some strange reason the hotel Which is the best together and makes them up as singles

This is a lovely hotel on the edge of Kalamata. Refurbishment has been done very well and staff went out of their way to help. Pool and gardens are lovely as photos suggest

Reception was always helpful, especially with arranging taxis, and the pool and restaurant teams were friendly and welcoming. Breakfast had a wide choice of hot and cold dishes

Fine location with private beach and free sun beds. Lovely rooftop terrace for breakfast, with a good range of food, including local specialities. The rooftop bar is also open for drinks in the evening

Some OK restaurants and bars along the promenade, but the best are in the old town 20 minutes walk away. tip: take a sunrise walk out on the molo, and you may spot some sea turtles

Good size, clean and comfortable rooms. Very pleasant and helpful staff. Carpet in hallways are looking tired and dirty. Hallway paint can use some refreshing. Good variety of options for the breakfast offering.

This hotel is lovely and really good value for the money. The staff is friendly and attentive. Rooms are clean and great in all aspects. Comfortable beds, AC works good, nice balcony with very good soundproofing doors

The room was spacious, bed very comfortable all amenities available daily linens and clean- service ( this is the only lodging we had been given 4 pillows in our travels )🥳The employees take great pride and as example we were last minute to find a tour and a place to do Laundry

She made a massive effort over and above the call of duty to ensure we had everything we needed to spend a relaxing 4 hours being pampered with massages , spa pool and hamman steam - I cannot recommend it enough and the hotel itself looks gorgeous with great coffee and juices! 🙏❤️

Lovely resort hotel, excellent restaurant Spent one night here on the way between Nafplio and Olympia, it was early March and still the off season so not many guests but staff was very nice and helpful, breakfast buffet was fabulous and the dinner we ate in the restaurant was delicious

We stayed in a comfort triple bungalow and were impressed by how comfortable it actually was (and of good size)

I stayed in Messinian Bay Hotel for 7 nights with my partner. The Staff were very nice and helpful, they know a lot about the local activities and good prices

The beds are great, and even the baby crib is the best we've had from all the places we've stayed in! Would highly recommend

The rooms were clean and comfortable. Lots of hot water and great water pressure. Breakfast was expansive and delicious. Very friendly staff and superb location.

We stayed here in July for 2 nights and one in August. We would have stayed longer in August but they were full Great location a short walk to sea. Nice pool which wasn’t too crowded and plenty of comfy sunbeds

Breakfast was varied and everything fresh. The staff are just amazing friendly and helpful. We also had lunch (late as restaurant opens at 3pm) twice which was good value

The location was fantastic, a very short walk to the beach and we asked for beach towels and they were provided to us. Kalamata Town Centre is a 15 min walk. Breakfast was fresh and plentiful

The boutique hotel was very clean, modern and most importantly, quiet which allowed for a peaceful night's rest. Nothing was an issue for the staff and they were all so polite and engaging

We had sodas by the magnificent pool (they serve cocktails if you like). There are 2 lovely banquette rooms near the pool. It would be fantastic to have a wedding reception at this place. I would go back in a heartbeat!

And Giannis at the Apollon Bar by the Olympic pool added a personal touch by remembering our favorite drinks every time. Made us feel like more than just tourists. Would 100% recommend this place for families

One of the nicest views you will ever see overlooking the sea/ocean. Anywhere you look out from the hotel you are looking at the water. Very clean hotel, great breakfast/full breakfast

Just got back from an incredible week at the Belvedere resort. The hotel was beautiful — clean rooms, plenty of pools, and loads of activities for all ages

Good! We just stayed one night. Nothing to complain about. Two really nice gentlemen welcomes us when we arrived, and the staff was flexible regarding checkin and checkout, which was highly appreciated!

A very welcoming and secure place to stay in the heart of Kalamata & a 5 minute easy walk to the central bus station. Recommend for a night or two stay 👌

We had a one night stay arriving late in the evening, but it was easy to find somewhere to eat, and the accommodation was very comfortable and clean.

Dimitri on front desk was helpful & friendly. The room-102- was immaculate, fantastic bed, pillows and 5 star bathroom

The modest room rate reflects all these things, and in the end goes a long way to my rating that the Rex is in fact a good, economical choice. They know what they’re working with and charge fairly for it

We have stayed at the Rex a few times over the years and have been more than satisfied on every occasion. Our room on the 4th floor was on the corner of the building and was flooded with light

Once I asked where I might buy an English newspaper and the gentleman on the desk not only gave me the information he then rang the shop to check they had one

The room was clean though dated. Front desk and breakfast staff were helpful and excellent. A very good European breakfast was provided.

He then took me outside to show me exactly where the shop was. Breakfast provided an excellent choice and the ladies looking after the room were constantly refilling the platters to ensure there was enough

Friendly and welcoming staff, very good location on the beach front which was perfect for a morning dip, breakfast ok, good value for the area, parking not too hard to find considering the location, our family room had a side sea view and view across to the mountains, most have a sea view, air-con quite noisy

It was als easu to drive to from the airport and there is sufficient parking in the local area. The bed was very comfotable and the room was very clean. We would toroughly recomment Hotel Ostria

The hotel is located right across the road from the beach with many bars and tavernas in short walking distance. We also walked into Kalamata centre which took about 20 minutes

Convenient location to the dining options which are plentiful. Rooms are large and well set out. Would definitely recommend this hotel and will stay here again

This was much better than that other hotel next to this one that has a bucket instead of the bathroom. On the serious note, I'm more than sure you will enjoy your stay at Vista Marina!

This hotel is essentially a masterpiece of neo-Balkan architecture. The tiles on the floor seem to be in diagonal shape, which is quite amazing

It also has a sea view! The bathroom is more facilitated than expected. I've got a bath tub, lavatory and a toiltet separated

Despite thoroughly enjoying myself, excellent Neilson activity reps, great weather and good food, I cannot recommend Messini Beachclub

We like most of everything about this hotel except for the shower water. The pressure of the water in the shower was very weak and the temperature of the water was not consistent

It went cold then hot constantly during our shower times

The main issue is the poor link between the calendar and the activity that meant one struggled to book days ahead. At no point was it clear that there were further charges. This was an all inclusive holiday right

However, when we arrived we were told that we had to be out the room by 3. What's the use in that! Further more, I asked at reception if we could stay in the room until 5. We came back to the room at 4

The week I was there was extremely busy and I was unable to get on the "red" level sailing courses more than once and the tennis sessions were stupidly busy at times

With very few changes corrections the rating could be easily Excellent 5stars. The reception was closing at 21:00 and after that the lift was shut down therefore difficult access for disabled

The room comes with a huge balcony. The KING sized bed is great - these seem to be a rarity in Europe! Dinner was fantastic. Get the fruit place or poke bowl, both fresh and delicious. The price was very reasonable

room was very clean and they could upgrade the mattresses. The breakfast wasn’t as good as I remember it. I stayed a few years back and the quality has gone down, but otherwise I enjoyed it.

We loved our stay at Horizon Blu! The view from our room was to die for and the breakfast buffet was wonderful every morning. The beach was a very short walk and had comfortable loungers with cute umbrellas

I stayed at the same hotel a few years ago and it was fantastic but the property itself is wonderful design easy access to the beach and the pool is fantastic

Bathroom was again compact however had a good shower, fluffy towels and expel air. The roof top pool area was a great. When we were there early June we were the only guests using it so it felt very private

Receptionist/breakfast server gets special praise due to her enthusiasm. There is parking next to the hotel Hotel is located on a busyish road however the double glazing means the room is quiet at night

Its a 5 minute walk to a large super market and about 20/25 minutes walk into Kalamata old town which we found quite buzzy and great to spend an afternoon /evening wondering and eating/drinking

Breakfast was included in the room rate and was fine, enough choices and fresh orange juice. Hotel is quite funky and modern. All the staff were friendly and helpful

We enjoyed our stay here for its location, roof top pool and great staff and would without question stay here again
