The pools are stunning and impeccably maintained, as are the beach facilities — everything very functional and well cared for

Spent a week here in October with my family. The hotel was absolutely beautiful- the renovation was great. Our room was spacious and lovely. The swimming pools were also great. We were able to swim every day

The beach is very pebbly as other people have described. But if you wear sandals in or water shoes it’s fine. The location is beautiful as well and perfect for exploring the area The food was delicious and varied

This is a lovely hotel on the edge of Kalamata. Refurbishment has been done very well and staff went out of their way to help. Pool and gardens are lovely as photos suggest

The location is wonderful, both right at the beach, far from other hotels but very close the Kalamata city (~8 minute drive). We highly recommend and definitely will come again in the next season

The hotel staff were lovely, quick, and always helpful. Not having an all inclusive option makes it more challenging with family. But the half board option worked

The rooms are large, cleaned daily exceptionally well by Cleopatra and kettle/ iron available on request. The pool is amazing and the free beach opposite offers clear water and a lovely view

Nice resort Nice resort opposite the beach. We also had access to a massive swimming pool area. The rooms were large and beds were comfortable. All staff were really friendly

Perfect hotel. Quiet and well-kept. Breakfast is very good. Nice beach as part of the hotel facilities.

My kids enjoyed the amenities including the large beautiful pool. We wish the pool was open early and not at 11 am. The food at the hotel restaurant was just ok so we ended up dinning out a good number of nights

I would consider this a 5 star resort. The bungalow we stayed in was modern, clean and spacious. Some bungalows had private pools. Incredible value! The pool was gigantic and well maintained

Our room had two balconies, each with a different view and both views were stunning.

Fine location with private beach and free sun beds. Lovely rooftop terrace for breakfast, with a good range of food, including local specialities. The rooftop bar is also open for drinks in the evening

Some OK restaurants and bars along the promenade, but the best are in the old town 20 minutes walk away. tip: take a sunrise walk out on the molo, and you may spot some sea turtles

The breakfast buffet was great with amazing views on the roof top. The dining experience was great also. Clean rooms and very walkable. The beach access is across the street with sun-beds on it

Great hotel well placed with nice views and a nice beach with very comfy lounge chairs. There is no parking but you can easily find parking around the hotel

The hotel is wonderful. 100m from the Kalamata beach and only a short walk to great restaurants, it is a great place to stay.

Wonderful beachfront hotel! Large clean rooms and a great breakfast available! The rooftop restaurant bar is with a stunning view of the Messinisn bay and Kalamata wondernful beach

The hotel is situated at a beautiful location just opposite of the beach. Amazing view, amazing cleanliness and such a great area inside and outside the hotel. The staff always ready to help you and always with a smile

Unlock the rooms very simple and easy to use and the nice big swimming pool at the back of the resort very friendly staff and nice view of the beach

The warmth and efficient polite hotel staff made our stay enjoyable, lots of choices at breakfast, sun loungers were always available at the poolside side everything was an ease especially ordering from the poolside bar with staff were polite and efficient

We are a family of 5 adults from the UK who stayed for 9 nights B&B at this hotel. We had a great time and would definitely return. The hotel was clean, comfortable and quiet. There was never an issue getting sunbeds

Lovely and varied breakfast each morning, including lots of local produce. This is a resort for those who wish to have a comfortable base to explore the city and the extended area

This is not one of the bustling, loud resort were you fight for a pool space (thankfully) so whenever our children wanted to just stay in the pool area, they'd always be space

Protection of the environment is not an issue at all, towels and bedsheets are replaced every day unquestioningly. It is not allowed to swim in the pool before ten o‘clock while there is still shade on the water

We like most of everything about this hotel except for the shower water. The pressure of the water in the shower was very weak and the temperature of the water was not consistent

In the pool bar right over it, there are some very tasty local lunch options as meatballs with freshly made “French” fries and piglet etc It still reminds me of nice Greek, traditional vacations from the 90’ by the the sea

It went cold then hot constantly during our shower times

The hotel may be a bit outdated (the rooms though well renovated), but it truly strategically located by the sea

The biggest advantage is that it has its own private (relatively small but very nice) pebble beach and very nice sea right in its front

Very nice hotel with convenient access to the beach and Mani peninsula area. The staff was exceptional and went out of their way to make me feel like a welcome guest

We just visited the beach in front of the hotel, took a swim and had some coffee and drinks at the beach. Great, friendly and fast service. Good prices.

It's not to far from the main city and real close to some amazing beaches

The rooms were clean and comfortable. Lots of hot water and great water pressure. Breakfast was expansive and delicious. Very friendly staff and superb location.

I don't think that it is 5 star hotel. The front fesk staf was very nice. The breakfast was nice and with variety

The location was fantastic, a very short walk to the beach and we asked for beach towels and they were provided to us. Kalamata Town Centre is a 15 min walk. Breakfast was fresh and plentiful

We stayed here in July for 2 nights and one in August. We would have stayed longer in August but they were full Great location a short walk to sea. Nice pool which wasn’t too crowded and plenty of comfy sunbeds

Staff were attentive and friendly, providing us with great recommendations for food and beaches nearby. Breakfast was excellent with a lot of variety and choice, catering to all dietary requirements

Need to drive a few minutes to get to the ocean……. And the beaches are everywhere

We had sodas by the magnificent pool (they serve cocktails if you like). There are 2 lovely banquette rooms near the pool. It would be fantastic to have a wedding reception at this place. I would go back in a heartbeat!

Amazing view, perched high above city. Clean rooms. Plentiful breakfast. Center of Kalamata not too far. Owners and Staff friendly.

And Giannis at the Apollon Bar by the Olympic pool added a personal touch by remembering our favorite drinks every time. Made us feel like more than just tourists. Would 100% recommend this place for families

The rooms are well appointed without being pretentious. It is nestles in the hills above a small quaint beach town. Yet has the quiet sophistication of being our a small city

One of the nicest views you will ever see overlooking the sea/ocean. Anywhere you look out from the hotel you are looking at the water. Very clean hotel, great breakfast/full breakfast

We were grateful we had booked this place along the beach. It felt much safer and nicer. We took a short beach walk in the morning before enjoying their very nice breafkast before heading out

We did a quick trip into the old part of Kalamata, but the castle was closed (3:30) and we weren't impressed with the commertial area. We came directly back to enjoy the beach

Nice hotel along the beach We enjoyed Hotel Flisvos. The room was very nice and clean. They had a drying rack on the deck, which allowed us to wash a few items of clothing

Hotel newly renovated apartments with every amenity , overlooking magnificent view of sea , great restaurants just out the door , rooftop lounge area for sunbathing and sunsets

It is easy to walk in around , the beach is 1 min walking distance restaurants are all open until 1 am and the room was very cleaned, staff was very friendly and easy to communicate

Perfect spot, right on the beachfront, in the heart of the city! Everything you may need, (market, taverns, bars, etc), it's within walking distance. Breathtaking views of the Kalamata beach

Parking is available in a lot a short walk from hotel. Staff very friendly and helpful. Good location for beach and walking into town.

It was als easu to drive to from the airport and there is sufficient parking in the local area. The bed was very comfotable and the room was very clean. We would toroughly recomment Hotel Ostria

Rooms and premises are ok if you're not too picky or too "vanilla". The location is great since it's just 6 meters from the beach and away from bars (so it's quiet enough)

Bird droppings at entrance not cleaned often enough. Bed sheets and towels are due for a renewal.

The room comes with a huge balcony. The KING sized bed is great - these seem to be a rarity in Europe! Dinner was fantastic. Get the fruit place or poke bowl, both fresh and delicious. The price was very reasonable

Messinian Icon Hotel was one of our favorites of our stay in Greece. The view is mesmerizing, with the glimmering sea and mountains in the background. Everyone we interacted with was welcoming and helpful

I stayed at the same hotel a few years ago and it was fantastic but the property itself is wonderful design easy access to the beach and the pool is fantastic

We loved our stay at Horizon Blu! The view from our room was to die for and the breakfast buffet was wonderful every morning. The beach was a very short walk and had comfortable loungers with cute umbrellas

room was very clean and they could upgrade the mattresses. The breakfast wasn’t as good as I remember it. I stayed a few years back and the quality has gone down, but otherwise I enjoyed it.

Beautiful apartments located in the heart of kalamata with a beautiful view of the sea. Everything is a walking distance away. Only downfall is the parking in the evening. Everything else was great.

Relax with a great view in Kalamata The apartment was clean and in a great location. It's a across the street from the beach and a short walk to great restaurants and coffee shops

Nice ocean view from the patio. Very nice restaurants near the sea. They provided coffee and daily cleaning
